Denver was born in Bethune, Colorado, and had one brother, Willis. After graduating from high school, Denver attended college before choosing to pursue a career in show business. He worked as a drummer and band member until the start of World War II, when he entered the Merchant Marine. After the end of World War II, he began his film career and starred in several motion pictures throughout the 1950s and 1960s. His best known television role was Uncle Jesse in the series The Dukes of Hazzard. He died sadly of lung cancer on Christmas Day 1997.moreless -
John Schneider

John Schneider has starred in six television series, including the latest sensation Smallville; five mini-series; four feature films; one soap opera; 14 movies; and two of his own television specials, not to mention the many guest starring roles and appearances which he has made on other television shows. A highlight of John's career was the successful move he made from a television "Duke" to a Broadway "Baron" in the provocative Tony Award-winning musical Grand Hotel. John has a wide diversity of talents and is known world-wide for his roles as an actor and singer, but the role that he holds dearest to his heart is that of being a daddy to his three children. A native of Mt. Kisco, New York, the Schneider family currently lives just outside of Los Angeles. Schneider starred for six seasons as one of the fast-driving, fun-loving cousins of the Duke clan on the hugely popular '80s comedy-adventure series The Dukes of Hazzard. He reprised his beloved role in the television movie The Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood. Schneider was also a series regular on the family drama Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and the syndicated drama Heaven Help Us. Recently, Schneider directed and starred in the original television movie Mary Christmas with Cynthia Gibb, which premiered December 2002. He has also has appeared in numerous other original television movies, including Michael Landon, the Father I Knew, True Women, Night of the Twisters, The Legend of Ruby Silver,Texas and Desperate Journey. He can also be heard as the voice of the lead character in Kids' WB!'s animated series The Mummy.moreless -

Catherine Bach was born in 1954, in Warren, Ohio, to a German father and a Mexican mother. In the 1970s, she had small roles in the Matt Helm television series, and appeared in the movie Thunderbolt and Lightfoot. In 1979, bombshell Catherine shot to notoriety as Daisy Duke, the female of the Duke cousins on the original series The Dukes of Hazzard. The series was a huge success and spawned a cult following and, in 2005, a re-imagining on the big-screen. The style of short, cut-off denim shorts was named after her character Daisy Duke, as she was often seen wearing those in the show. When John Schneider and Tom Wopat left the show The Dukes of Hazzard for a while, Byron, along with Christopher Mayer, came in as two new Duke cousins, Coy and Vance. Before landing the role of Coy Duke on The Dukes of Hazzard in May 1982, Byron Cherry worked as a flight attendant for United Airlines. He didn't make any further contributions to the entertainment industry after the show, but now owns his own business, "Byron's Barkeep" in Ventura, California.moreless -

Christopher Mayer

Born in New York, Christopher Mayer was raised in Ridgewood, New Jersey, the eldest of seven children. After getting a degree in business from Colgate University he worked a desk job in Manhattan while studying acting in his spare time. He eventually chose to devote himself to acting full-time, which is how he met his first wife, Teri Copley (married in 1982, divorced in 1984), with whom he shares a daughter Ashley.
After bit roles in minor films, Mayer's first big break came when contract disputes on the set of The Dukes of Hazzard had Tom Wopat and John Schneider refusing to work. He and Byron Cherry came in as the Dukes two cousins, Vance and Coy, and did twenty episodes before the dispute ended. At that time, his wife Teri was three months pregnant, and daughter Ashley was born in 1982.
After a short run on the soap Glitter, a divorce from Teri Copley, and a quick marriage and then divorce to actress Eileen Davidson (married in 1985, divorced 1986), Mayer landed the role of T.J. Daniels on the daytime soap Santa Barbara. He had initially tested for the role of Scott Clark, but the producers just didn't see him as a doctor, and called him back a couple of weeks after his screentest to see if he wanted to play a new character. During his time on the soap, his daughter, who was just starting school, was a frequent visitor to the set, and Mayer the devoted father.
Although his first two marriages failed, Mayer soon fell in love with actress Shauna Sullivan, whom he married during the Christmas season of 1988. Still married to Shauna, he continues to act, and has also made God a large part of his life.

He was born in a small town on the Florida-Georgia border. He got a football scholarship to Florida State University, but his career was cut short by an injury. He finished his education at the University of Georgia. He is best known for his role of Enos Strate on The Dukes of Hazzard. WB and CBS then spun him into his own series called Enos, but it only ran for 17 episodes. He played the University of Alabama head coach in the movie Forrest Gump. She died August 5, 2000. They had two children. He has appeared in over 150 TV shows, most notably as MAYOR STONER in THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW.

Ernie Hudson was born on 17th December 1945 in Benton Harbor, Michigan, USA. He never knew his father and his mother, Maggie Donald, died of TB when he was just 4 years old. His grandmother, Arrana Donald, raised him. He has a half-brother, Lewis Hudson. For some time he was in the Marine Corps then he moved to Detroit where he started writing plays for the Concept East theatre company. He attended to Wayne State University to improve is acting abilities and then graduated from Yale School of Drama. He also founded the Actors' Ensemble Theatre where young black writers like himself directed and performed in their own plays. He is perhaps best known as Winston Zeddemore, one of the Ghostbusters in the 1984 film Ghostbusters. He was in the 1994 film The Crow as Sergeant Albrecht and in the 1995 film Congo. In year 2000 he starred as Harry McDonald in the comedy Miss Congeniality with Sandra Bullock and Michael Caine. He has also appeared as a guest star in many famous TV series like Desperate Housewives (as Det. Ridley), Cold Case, E.R., Stargate SG-1, Everwood, Without a Trace and Oz (as Warden Leo Glynn).moreless
