    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • When Cletus is chasing Bo and Bo hops over the fence you can hear him land on something hard. Then when the angle flips around to his side all you see is hay with no hard surface in sight.

    • QUOTES (1)

      • Rosco: You're a quack.
Doctor: I told you not to call me that.
        Rosco: Quack, quack, quack!
        Boss: Hush, hush, hush!
Doctor: I don't need to take this. I'm getting out of here.
Boss: No, you don't! You stay here. Now why don't you two kiss and make up?
Rosco: Oh, I ain't gonna kiss a duck.

    • NOTES (3)

      • Barney Phillips appears as Judge Potts once more in Dukescam Scam which airs later in the fourth season.

      • It takes the work and skill of the Duke patriarch, Uncle Jesse, to come up with an equally wily scheme to prove Rosco's injuries are fake.

      • Rosco takes full advantage of his phony injuries, calling on Boss to cater to his every whim. A highlight comes when the beleagured county administrator reads "Jack and the Beanstalk" to the sheriff, which he admits is his favorite story.
