  • The Dukes team up with Boss Hogg and Rosco!!!!!

Well, I have to say that this was a very good episode for the last one in the fourth season. Two escaped convicts take the Dukes hostage in their own home. When Boss Hogg and Rosco show up they're in the mess just as far as the Dukes are. After many attempted escapes from Bo and Luke the convicts decide to take them out to the barn for the night, where Jesse has a shotgun, and Bo and Luke have their bows and arrows. In the morning Jesse and Daisy get fresh milk and throw it on one of the convicts. After a bunch of shooting from each sides the convicts take Rosco's car and leave the farm. Of course, Bo and Luke chase after them. The convicts finally get caught by Bo and Luke with a little help from Cletus, Cooter, and Mr. Randall, the prison guard. Overall, great episode. One of my favorites!!!!!moreless

  • NOTES (3)

    • This was the last first-run episode that was aired before John Schneider and Tom Wopat walked off the show because of contract problems for almost a whole season.

    • When Bo & Luke were changing the flat near the end of the episode, Luke did it all weird. He unscrewed the lugnuts clockwise(right) and tightened them counter-clockwise(left). Now, everybody knows it's counter-clockwise to loosen and clockwise to tighten.

    • The second of two "Dukes held hostage" episodes within a matter of weeks. As in Bad Day in Hazzard, the Dukes are forced to work with Boss and Rosco and rely on the help of others when everyone (except Cooter and Cletus) is held at gunpoint and their vehicles and communication devices (i.e., the telephone and C.B. radios) are disabled by the two hardened criminals.
