  • A fella Luke sent to jail in the Marines wants revenge!

    10
Two escaped convicts, Benson and Hixx, escape from the Chickasaw County Jail and head for Hazzard. Benson knows Luke from the Marines...Luke was the one who sent Benson to jail in the first place. Benson and Hixx make their way to Hazzard and hold the Dukes hostage. Benson makes Luke drive him into town to get some artillery. Then he and Hixx take Bo and Luke in the General and they make them drive them through a forest fire at gunpoint. Once they get out of the fire Benson and Hixx steal a car because the law is looking for the General Lee. They get away but then Bo and Luke jump in the General and race to get them put back in jail...which they do. This was a good episode. One of the best.moreless

    • Luke: You came to settle the score with me, Benson. Why don't you leave my family out of this?

    • Benson: Good morning, Luke. Or should I say Sergeant?
      Luke: Lee Benson.
Benson: You haven't forgotten me. Well, I haven't forgotten you either. Those few years you got me thrown in the brig.
Luke: You got there all by yourself. You didn't need no help from me.

    • Benson: I'm finally gonna get even with you, Luke Duke. If it hadn't been for you I'd still be in the Marines. I'd have my stripes.
Luke: You got your stripes, Benson, only they run up and down.
Bo: Yeah, especially that big yellow one that runs up and down your back. That's what you get for shooting people who can't defend themselves.
Benson: You just keep running off at the mouth, boy!
Luke: Young man's got a right to speak his peace, ain't he, Benson? I mean you are gonna shoot him after you shoot me, ain't ya?
