This is the only episode in the series that Daisy shows off her archery skills.
Among the items which Rosco brings to the Boars Nest for Bo are a poster, from his performance at the stunt show in Carnival of Thrills and a flag from the First Annual J. D. Hogg Hazzard Derby which featured in the previous episode Duke vs Duke.
When Boss Hogg and Rosco come out of the Boar's Nest to go visit Boss's still the yellow car that Bo was driving is in the the corner and the police car is in the center then when Bo comes out to return Boss's keys the yellow car is sitting where the police car used to be.
When Rosco ignites the nitrous oxide at the climax of the race, when Flash's ears go up in the air if you look carefully you can see thread tied to them, where someone off-camera is pulling them up.

At the part of the episode were everybody runs up to Daisy and Earl. Boss Hogg and Rosco go over to Earl. As Rosco goes over to Daisy to take the gun from her you can hear, if you listen closely, Rosco say, "Here, Cathy." Instead of Here, Daisy."
The Oak Ridge Boys make their second appearance on the show singing 'Leaving Louisiana in the Broad Daylight'.
As Luke is trying to set the flare on the arrow that Bo has, you can see that Bo isn't wearing gloves. But just as the arrow is taking off in the next shot, you can see Bo wearing gloves.
If you look very closely the same footage of Cletus falling in the water is shown twice during this episode. It is possible to tell this because because just before he falls in his shirt is soaked but when he is falling his shirt is bone dry. Clearly Rick Hurst didn't want to dive in the water twice.
When Daisy borrows twenty dollars from Cletus, he pulls out his wallet and his drivers license is visible. In the picture on his license, there is someone with long hair who looks somewhat like Daisy.
The Dukes use the same trick to confuse Boss Hogg of having three identical cars as they did in the season two episode The Dukes Meet Cale Yarborough. This time they use three pick up trucks as opposed to three General Lees.
It is revealed by Sue Mae that Rosco's full name is Rosco Purvis Coltrane.
When the crooks go to sabotage the General, the car is a lot more banged up than it was when Bo & Luke went inside the police station.
When Bo and Luke arrive at the Boar's Nest they give Boss Hogg the wanted poster with Sue Ann's picture on it. Boss leaves clutching it. Later when the Dukes are telling Rosco about Sue Ann, Luke pulls the wanted poster out of his pocket to show Rosco.
