When Rosco puts the handcuffs on Luke and Daisy the chain is normal. Then when Luke and Daisy get in the General Lee the chain on the handcuffs is a little bit longer. At the end when Boss and Rosco come to arrest the fortune tellers, Luke and Daisy's handcuff chain is even longer than before.
In the scene where Nervous Norman Willis is introduced the Balladeer mistakenly refers to him as Norman Nervous Willis.
Its funny how there is a flatbed truck in the middle of Hazzard piling hundreds of boxes onto it. And that when Rosco and Boss Hogg crash into it, the boxes are obviously empty.
The paintings used in this episode were painted by James Best (Rosco). He's a very talented artist.
Goof: When Luke is about ready to be hit by the box notice he closes his eyes as if he was flinching twice. Even though he couldn't see the box.
When Bo and Luke stop the Beaudrys in the beginning of the episode, Milo loses his hat when he puts Bo over his shoulder. But when Milo turns around in the next shot with Bo on his shoulder his hat is back on. Then when he throws Bo to the ground is hat is back on the ground again.
Luke gets hurt while driving Jud's car and he goes off into a ditch and the car explodes. But at the end of the episode when Jud is leaving his car is back. Did he get a new one or what?
James Best (Rosco) has said that this episode, and the fourth season's two-part "10 Million Dollar Sheriff" are his favorite episodes of the series.
When Luke, Bo, and Rosco run the crooks off into the pond with the General Lee, Luke is driving. When they park the car to arrest the crooks Bo climbs out of the driver's seat and Luke's climbs out of the passanger seat.
