The Dukes of Hazzard

Its funny how there is a flatbed truck in the middle of Hazzard piling hundreds of boxes onto it. And that when Rosco and Boss Hogg crash into it, the boxes are obviously empty.

The paintings used in this episode were painted by James Best (Rosco). He's a very talented artist.

Goof: When Luke is about ready to be hit by the box notice he closes his eyes as if he was flinching twice. Even though he couldn't see the box.

When Bo and Luke stop the Beaudrys in the beginning of the episode, Milo loses his hat when he puts Bo over his shoulder. But when Milo turns around in the next shot with Bo on his shoulder his hat is back on. Then when he throws Bo to the ground is hat is back on the ground again.

Luke gets hurt while driving Jud's car and he goes off into a ditch and the car explodes. But at the end of the episode when Jud is leaving his car is back. Did he get a new one or what?

James Best (Rosco) has said that this episode, and the fourth season's two-part "10 Million Dollar Sheriff" are his favorite episodes of the series.

When Luke, Bo, and Rosco run the crooks off into the pond with the General Lee, Luke is driving. When they park the car to arrest the crooks Bo climbs out of the driver's seat and Luke's climbs out of the passanger seat.

When Bo and Luke knock Milo into the pig pin you can see the crew on the right side of the screen.

This is one of the few times in the series the Dukes cross a state line as the Beaudry farm is stated to be located in Tennessee.

While a helicopter is flying overhead at the Duke's farm you see Bo and Luke looking out a window with the drapes closed but in the camera angle looking out you see the drapes open and waving in the draft from the window.

In the teaser you see Boss Hogg say he would much rather welcome the plague then Bo and Luke back but the line or the scene isn't in the episode.

Just after Bo and Luke return, before Coy and Vance leave, when they two pairs of cousins exchange their keys, Vance can be heard saying "here you go Byron" as he throws the keys to Coy.

The Baxley sisters are a nod to the shows stunt co-ordinator, Paul Baxley.

Just after Coy, Vance, and Daisy escape from the jail, Daisy gets into the General Lee and Vance gets in after her (Coy is driving). A couple of shots later Daisy is next to the window and Vance is in the middle between the other two. By the next shot they are back to being in the correct order according to the way they got into the car (Coy driving, Daisy in the middle and Vance at the passenger window).

In this episode, Roscoe's car looses it's roof, left front door, front fenders and front bumper; in that order.

After going into Hazzard Pond, Enos and Cletus successfuly raise Boss and Rosco on their C.B. radio. But how could it work while submerged in water? And why does it not short out until the end when Rosco tries to use it?

When Uncle Jesse reads the article about the $100 plates, you can see some of the paragraphs are repeated on the same page.

How were Bo and Luke able to tour with the NASCAR series when their probation prohibited them from leaving Hazzard County? Plus, in later episodes it's mentioned that they are still on probation. Plus in the flashback episode Happy Birthday, General Lee it's mentioned that they were on probation even then--eight years prior. That must have been a stiff term and it's yet another inconsistency that's never fully explained.

When Leeman brings Boss into the boys' room, you can see the poster on the wall from the episode Carnival of Thrills.

When Rosco opens the door to reveal one of the convicts he opens it fully. Then when the convict comes out he has to open it again.
