Boss Hogg is an important government witness and the Feds want to keep him somewhere where he'll be safe. He stays at the Duke farm not thinking that he'll cause any trouble while he's there. Well, two professional hit men are hired to stop Boss from tesifying against their boss at the trial and Bo and Luke get caught up in it. As Bo and Luke are trying to save Boss Hogg they're trying to save themselves as well. They finally save Boss and the hit men drive into the pond. This was a really good episode. This happened to be one of my favorites. It's also the first time the Dukes helped Boss Hogg out of danger.moreless

This is one of those episodes were the dukes team up with boss to get out of a sticky situation.

After agreeing to testify against a big racketeer, boss becomes a target for two hit man hired to stop him from giving evince.

The duke family must hide him out on the farm until the trial and not let him be seen. Mean while Rossco take over as temporary boss complete with white suite and hat.

This episode has a lot of funny moments, the best being with Rossco acting as temporary boss of hazard.

I think Cooters good in this episode as well, the scruffy look works for his charter, and I don’t understand why the writers made Ben Jones clean up. Which he protected over. [Even leaving the show for a few episodes]

I think the episodes were they all team up are always a hit because it makes a nice change from watching the normal happenings going on in hazard.

  • TRIVIA (4)

    • When Boss Hogg arrives at the Dukes farm Uncle Jessie puts the fruit bowl in the oven next to the pie. Surely this will bake the fruit. If he is hiding it from Boss Hogg why not put it up somewhere high were the fat little buddy wouldn't be able to reach it

Editor's note: Maybe the oven wasn't turned on so there would be no worry about the fruit getting baked.

    • When the hitmen are in the Boars Nest posing as Bible salesmen why do they say they will catch Boss Hogg next time they are passing through your city. How long has Hazzard County been a city?

Editor's note: Hazzard is the name of both the county and the town. A common occurrence.

    • When the boys are driving with Boss towards the tunnel, they get shot at twice. After the second shot Bo knocks his head on the steering wheel. I've seen it now where sometimes Luke asks him about it, and other times he doesn't. I'm guessing he didn't mean to hit his head and Tom and John just sort of carried on with the scene until it was edited out.

    • When Enos is chasing the Dukes you can see the back glass is busted out of the General to camera changed a couples of times and the winder is busted out.

  • QUOTES (3)

    • A gunshot breaks the driver's side mirror.
      Boss: What was that?
Bo: You must've looked in the mirror and broke it.

    • Bo: If the General don't hurry up and do something and fast, it's gonna be Appomattox all over again.
Luke: Wrong. There they had a chance to surrender.

    • Bo: Who the heck could be shooting at us?
Luke: Anyone of the number of them fathers of the girls you've been dating. Thing is now to find out which one. Come on. Stay low. I don't wanna lose you.
Bo: I don't wanna lose me either.
