The magical weapons the children use run out of power on them. Dungeon Master tells them they can recharge the weapons at the Hall of Bones. Venger learns of the children's difficulties and decides to intervene to see to his own interests.

Although it seemed a bit strange that their weapons would all lose power at the exact same time, it was interesting to see them fumble through the story powerless.

Now, this is more like it. Although it seemed a bit strange that their weapons would all lose power at the exact same time, it was interesting to see them fumble through the story powerless. And although Venger gets away in the end despite overwhelming odds (a series trend), the battle in the Hall of Bones, from what we could see, was very, very cool.
