I rewatched this one about a week ago and I was able to predict almost everything in the episode. However as I look back I didn't watch this because it was compelling or ground-breaking. I watched it because it was funny. The episode centers around a horse that Dusty finds and tries to keep only to be accused of stealing the horse when the owner and a marshal show up. Through a series of hilarious events Dusty is able to prove his innocence. Bob Denver truly was one of the comic geniuses of the last century. Whether he was playing Dusty; or Gilligan; or Maynard G. Krebbs; Bob Denver had it. I also have to add that Forrest Tucker was one of the greatest straight-men on television. Anyone who remembers F-Troop knows what I mean. I remember being sad when I heard that he died. Well anyway both these actors were able to liven an otherwise routine episode.moreless
