After half a dozen years of delerious dumbness, a new producer was brought in to take over Season 9. It was too late the save the show, but it gave a dignified exit to DYNASTY, and made season 9 the first really solid year since Season 2.
Linda Evans left early in the season, and Joan Collins is reduced to about 60% participation, yet the stories work almost better than ever, with all the Carrington skeletons falling from the closet.
Ironically, Krystle isn't even seen in this episode, but her vanishing sends Blake into a frenzy to find her. While Sammy Jo and Jeff wind up finding something they didn't expect, and Blake didn't want.
