    "Great"
It is a good episode but less good than preceding it ("The Vendetta" Season 6 Finale) which was excellent .

Good things: 1/ the war between Alexis (with Ben) and Blake (with Krystle) continue! 2/ the fire at La Mirage is well made
3/ the return of Michael Culane is a good idea

Bad things: 1/ After a new Steven, after a new Fallon and before a new Adam (in the Reunion), now a new Amanda! An unknown actress (unpopular Karen Cellini) played Amanda. Like Oxenberg, it's a bad actress but she's not very pretty and "royal" unlike Oxenberg She leaves the show after only 13 episodes! 2/ The storyline between Clay, Amanda and Sammy Jo ends. It's too bad after the big catfight between Sammy Jo and Amanda in next season finale 3/ Budget cut in season 7 !!! No guest star in this season at the exception of Ricardo Montalban (a Colbys star) in one episode

A good episode but with Oxenberg as Amanda, this episode (and season 7) would have been better... tanguytanguymoreless

    ADD TRIVIA
    • Goof: Although Alexis has bought Blake's house, she can not legally just throw him and Krystle out. By law, she would have to serve them with an eviction notice. Plus, all of the possessions in the house would not belong to Alexis, nor would the servants be expected to remain in her employed, although it appears in this episode that they go with the house. Edit
    • If Fallon had spent millions of dollars renovating La Mirage only a few years before, wouldn't a sprinkler system have been a standard code requirement?! Edit
  • Notes

    ADD NOTES
    • In the recap of the previous cliffhanger episode, producers replaced the clip of Catherine Oxenberg (Amanda) fighting with Heather Locklear (Sammy Jo) by the pool with a new clip featuring Karen Cellini as Amanda. Edit
    • American actress Karen Cellini replaces Catherine Oxenberg in the role of "Amanda" in this episode. Cellini originally auditioned for a role on the spin-off series, The Colbys. But, after producers fired Catherine Oxenberg over salary demands, they noticed Cellini's resemblance to Oxenberg and hired her to replace Oxenberg. However, with Cellini now in the role, Amanda no longer has a British accent. Edit
    • Former regular Wayne Northrop (Michael) rejoins the cast. "The Colbys" star Emma Samms (Fallon) guest stars in a flashback scene to re-introduce the character of Michael. Edit
