Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's mother Jarnette almost pulled her daughters off the show after the first season, but she didn't express this to the girls' agent until the publicity photos for Season 2 had already been taken. Jarnette felt overwhelmed by everything and feared that it would be too much of a disruption to the twins and the rest of the family. Fortunately, the Olsens decided to let Mary-Kate and Ashley continue as long as they enjoyed doing it--and the rest is history.
