E! Television tells the life story of Canadian entertainer Howie Mandel. Mandel began his career as a stand-up comedian, but first came to widespread fame as an actor on the medical TV drama "St. Elsewhere." He later enjoyed renewed success when he hosted the TV game show hit "Deal or No Deal," but has struggled most of his life with mysophobia, an intense fear of germs.
