After finding Den awake early in the morning, Chrissie talks to him about everything that's happened but her concern is soon tested when Den tells her that she doesn't have any idea how he feels.

Kate tells the square that she is leaving to joining the police again. They are all shocked to hear that she is leaving the same day. At the nail bar, Chrissie finds a letter sent to her from Vicki. It says that she and Sharon are staying with Michelle and not to call them. Chrissie shows this to Den which upsets him further. When Dennis asks him about selling the club to Andy he quickly refuses, telling him to just shut the whole place down.

Meanwhile, Andy continues to give Jake and Danny demeaning jobs to do. Spencer accidentally fuels Jake and Danny's suspicions about Alfie when he lets slip that Andy and Alfie have a lot of history. Worried about everything that's going on, Alfie puts Spencer on a train to their cousin Maxwell's, knowing Spencer will be safe there.

It's the day of David's funeral and Jane asks Ian not to go with her. He is upset but later on she asks him to go with her to the nursing home to pick up the rest of David's belongings. With everything packed up, she leaves the room once occupied by her husband.

At the club, Dennis makes the arrangements to close the club for good. At the nail bar, Kate has got her suitcase ready and she takes a look around her empty shop. Dennis and Kate both turn out the lights of their one time jobs and head out into the street. Dennis spots Kate leaving and goes to wish her good luck. They think back to old times of when they were together and then she leaves Walford for good.

Still outraged by Den's remarks, Chrissie tells him exactly what she wants a baby. He avoids the comment by saying the pub is busy and needs him. At their flat, Zo has another attempt to seduce Dennis. When he once again avoids sleeping with her she runs out. Zo tells Den that there is no way she will get pregnant with Dennis and she might as well tell him the truth. Den tells Zo that if Dennis can't make her pregnant, he will have to do it, leaving her shocked as her goes back inside.moreless
