Chrissie and Jake head out of the Square, along the way she mentions to Patrick that she's going to France by train, she books the tickets with a credit card to set up a false trail - they're actually headed for the airport!     Johnny plans to lure Phil to Scarlet to kill him, he invites Phil round to pick up the confession tape. Phil reluctantly goes along with Grant, Johnny winds them up for a moment before handing over the tape and producing a gun. He points the gun at them and is ready to pull the trigger but at that moment, Ruby walks in. She begs her dad not to pull the trigger, she tells him that if he doesn't she'll move back home and they can be a family again. Johnny can't resist his daughter, he puts down the gun and as a parting gesture tells the Mitchells that it's Ian who's buying the Vic.moreless

    Ruby tells Tina about Johnny's infidelities. Tina's not convinced but when she confronts Johnny he tells her everything. Tina decides to leave Walford and she packs her bags, as she heads out the door, Johnny's returns home in a foul mood. When Tina walks away from Johnny, he raises his fist to go and hit her but at that moment Ruby walks in! Disgusted with what she sees, Ruby tells Johnny that she wants nothing more to do with him. Meanwhile, Sharon confesses to Grant that she aborted his baby and that it left her infertile. She worries that Grant will be angry with her but he tells her it's all in the past. He gives her a reassuring kiss on the cheek. Across the bar, Dennis spots Grant kissing his wife. Angered, Dennis storms out. Later, Grant crosses the square to find Johnny Allen pleading with Ruby, Grant can't help but smile prompting Johnny to take a swing at him! Johnny misses and ends up on the floor, Grant walks away but then Dennis steps up beside Johnny and offers him his hand and says he wants to help him bring down the Mitchells!moreless

At the prison, Sam insists that she is innocent and tells Sharon that Chrissie blackmailed her into keeping quiet. She tells Sharon of Chrissie's last words to Den, Sharon is outraged that Sam could make up such horrible lies and walks out!     In the morning, Juley reveals to everyone that Mike is a crook. They go up to his office to find it empty and Mike's car gone. Later, a man arrives at the house claiming to be the owner and that Mike was looking after the house. Everyone realises that they've been fooled. Minty is devestated that Mike had left with all the money he had. Gus lays into Juley for lying about his flash lifestyle. Juley admits that he's ashamed he's achieved nothing. Gus doesn't stay mad for long and is amused to hear what Juley has been up to. He vows to get out of Gus's life but Gus wont hear of it. Mickey asks Dawn to come back to Walford with him to see the family. It's clear that she's put off visiting because of Keith. Mickey wants her to give him a chance. Dawn argues that she'd lose face if she returned to Walford. Minty decides to make a go of things in France. Garry tries every trick in the book to lure him back to Walford. The pair embrace before Minty heads off. Garry hitches a ride to the chanel crossing. Minty's French pals are excited that he is staying and begin to celebrate. However, its not long before Minty gets bored. As Mickey and Dawn argue about Mike, he appears behind them. Mike explains why he turned back to find Dawn and Mickey. He couldn't shake the image of the two of them from his mind. For the first time in his life he stopped running away. Dawn decides to go with Mike but he tries to convince her that she'll regret it. Mickey asks Mike to staying in touch with them. He returns Minty's money and asks Mickey to look after Dawn. At the port, he lads are shocked when Minty appears. Gus mocks him for only lasting a couple of hours in France. Minty jokes that he couldn't understand a word of the language. Dawn gives in to Mickey and agrees to visit Walford. She reckons that returning will be the worst decision that she's ever made. Despite this she seems to enjoy all the male attention as they head back to England.moreless

    Mickey is suffering from a hangover after a late night of catching up with Mike. Dawn tells him how they plan to move to Paris once the house has been sold.
    The boys worry when they realise Gus and Juley never made it home last night. They get a call from the police station and Mike goes there to get them out.
    Garry backs out of Minty's sightseeing plans to spend the morning being "looked after" by Dawn. Dawn sees through Garry's "injury" and comes on to him before dropping him like a hot brick as punishment for letting down Minty.
    Juley is suspicious of Mike and searches the house. He finds a room full of children clothes and tells Mickey and Dawn about it. They confront Mike and he explains that he's been stroing them for the buyer. Everyone is furious at Juley for almost spoiling things. Mike takes Juley aside and tells him that he can see through him and his fake clothes. He suggests telling Gus that his new life isn't what he's made it out to be.
    Mike is devastated when the buyer decides not to buy the house. As he is going to Paris on Saturday, there is no way he can sell the house in time.
    As everyone gathers for a barbeque, Juley finds lots of passports in Mike's room, all with Mike's picture but with different names. At the barbeque, Minty announces that he is staying in France. He gives Mike all the money he has for a deposit on the house.moreless

    Mickey struggles to take in Mike's revelation as Dawn gazes on, hopeful for a happy reunion. Mike reaches out to Mickey but Mickey pulls his hand away and storms off.
    The boys decide to walk back to Dawn's but end up getting lost in the woods. They mistakenly believe that the French are hunting them are run away, causing Garry to hurt his ankle.
    Dawn begs Mickey to talk to Mike. It's not long before they argue and Mickey punches Mike. Dawn leaves them alone to talk. Mike explains why he left Rosie and what he's done with his life. They end up getting drunk together.
    The boys end up back in the village again and realise they've been going in circles. Gus decides to smash the window of the car. He is seen by some of the villagers and they all flee. A police car pulls up in front of Gus and Juley.moreless

    Having “borrowed” Ian’s new car without permission, Mickey, Garry, Minty, Gus and Juley arrive in France.

    Mickey is going to meet up with his sister, Dawn, whom he hasn’t seen for three years. Minty and Garry are both smitten with Dawn and immediately begin competing to pull her.

    Gus is angry that everyone has forgotten his birthday. Juley tries to make it up with him. They all leave Mickey alone so he can talk to Dawn. As they wander through the village, they disturb a funeral. They are chased out of the pub and Minty realises he's left the car keys in there.

    Dawn is keen to introduce Mickey to Mike, the man who turned her life around. When Mickey introduces himself to Mike as Dawn’s brother, Mike’s jaw drops. Dawn then introduces Mike as Mickey’s dad.moreless

    The funeral cortege returns to the Square and Chrissie apologises to a silent Sharon. Sharon tells Chrissie that she is going to tell Peggy that what she did was evil, twisted and wrong. Peggy and Sharon later square up to each other in the bar. Peggy demands Chrissie swear to everyone that she didn't kill Den. Chrissie does so and everyone ignores Peggy.
    Sharon knows that Dennis is afraid of letting his grief out. Softly and lovingly, she urges him to deal with it and not run away. Later, he goes to the grave and cries.
    Elsewhere, Garry wins Minty round to the idea of going on Mickey's booze cruise so that they can meet girls. Gus tells Mickey who he can get a van from - Juley. Juley arrives back in the Square and appolgises to Mickey about what went on between them. He later finds out that the van he found wont be available in time. Luckily, Minty and Garry spot Ian's new car.moreless

    As the funeral preparations get under way, Dennis can’t the handle the situation. He tells Pauline and Dot that he’s not bothered and that he doesn’t want to show Den any respect because he didn’t earn any. He decides not to go to the funeral. The coffin later arrives at the Vic and Chrissie can’t look at it, while Sharon falters at the sight of it.

    At the graveside, Chrissie stands a little apart from the mourners as she watches the coffin being lowered into the ground. A stranger gets out of a taxi in the distance, flowers in hand. Chrissie says a few words about Den by the graveside and picks up a Bible to recite a prayer – then a shout cuts across the churchyard and Peggy appears. She calls Chrissie a murderer before pushing her into the grave.moreless

    Chrissie admits to Sharon that she hasn’t slept well since they found Den’s body. Chrissie’s stomach turns when Sharon asks her whether she would prefer the wreath to say “Den” or “Dad”.

    There is still tension in the air between Peggy and Billy. Billy is frustrated when Peggy tells him she’s going to see Sam’s solicitor, but Peggy wants things to be done her way. She later speaks to Johnny and wants to know where Marcus Christie is.moreless

    The police inform Chrissie that she can now go ahead and arrange Den’s funeral. Sharon is surprised when Chrissie agrees to make the funeral arrangements but Chrissie is secretly relieved.

    Elsewhere, Billy is disgusted with Alfie for cheating on his wife and her sister. Alfie doesn’t receive a warm welcome at the Slaters’, either. When he arrives to apologise, Mo tells him he can rot in hell and Charlie slams the door in his face.moreless

    Alfie tries his best to explain himself to Kat but Kat refuses to make things easy for him, pointing out that Little Mo is her sister. Alfie insists that Kat left him and he was free to do what he wanted. Kat asks him if he loved Mo and he replies no.

    Alfie insists that he loves Kat and they sleep together on the kitchen table. Afterwards, Kat recalls how Little Mo looked after her when she had Zoe taken away as a baby. She realises that being with Alfie would break her sisters heart. Kat tells Alfie to leave and he begs her not to end it. Kat tells him she loves him but can't do it to Little Mo. She goes upstairs and lies on the bed with Little Mo.moreless

    A shock of silence looms over the Vic. Kat attacks Little Mo and drags her out of the Vic. Outside, Little Mo tries to hold onto a fence but Kat pulls her into the house. Charlie angrily confronts Alfie but they are interrupted by Billy falling into a table.

    At the Slaters’, Kat smashes up the kitchen as Little Mo lies fearful in her bed. Little Mo comes down and demands to know what was going on with her and Alfie.

    Upstairs in the Vic, Alfie tends to Billy's cuts. When Billy congratulates him and Little Mo, Alfie angrily tells him that he is with Kat.

    Little Mo insists to Kat that her and Alfie never slept together but did have a close relationship. Kat tries to twist things to make it seem like it didn't mean anything which makes Little Mo argue that it was love.

    Kat berates Little Mo for stealing her husband and in a rage pushes her onto the staircase. Little Mo compares her to Trevor and then tells Kat she can't always have what she wants. Little Mo runs upstairs as Kat cries in the kitchen. Just then. Alfie walks in...moreless

    Kat tells Alfie that she wants to take things slowly this time round. They prepare a special song for each other at the karaoke, unaware that they have both chosen the same one. Kat bursts into tears when Alfie suggests having children, but Billy sees and misunderstands her tears of joy. He gets up on stage and gives a toast to the happy couple - Alfie and Little Mo

    Stacey and Ruby plan a big night in before Ruby’s return to boarding school. They are shocked when Johnny takes them both to the club for a night of fun.moreless

    Alfie feels guilty when he thinks about Kat returning home with her news. When she gets back to the Slaters’, she tells all – but how will Little Mo react?

Peggy later takes delivery of a monstrous cocktail bar – Pat is over the moon with it but Peggy expresses her distaste.

    Sam is tearful as she talks to her mum.Through sobs, she explains to Peggy what happened with Andy, and tries to make it clear that she didn't kill Den. Peggy returns to the Square and begs Pat to let her stay there. She then visits the Vic to say her piece to Sharon and ends up with a drink in her face.
    Alfie describes to Kat how he felt when he saw her singing – she was everything he fell in love with. He meets with Little Mo and tells her that he and Kat are back together. She sobs to him and he tries to make it clear that she didn't do anything wrong. Billy witnesses this from a distance.

    Jake and Alfie, talking in the Square, spot Kat returning home from a night of clubbing, on the back of a truck, singing at the top of her voice. Kat goes home to pack her case as Alfie tells Nana about the state he saw her in. As she pops out, Alfie goes to look for her. He begs her to stay and then proposes to her again. She accepts and they plan to divorce and then re-marry.

    Charlie berates Stacey for giving a false alibi for Zoe while Kat impresses the seriousness of her lying to cover for Zoe and then thanks her for it.

    Sam tells the police about the murder weapon when they find blood under her kitchen sink. They remove the doorstop from Pauline’s house. With Chrissie havening an alibi and all evidence pointing at Sam, the police charge her for the murder of Den.

    Sharon goes into the Vic and sobs to Dennis. She is shocked when he shows no emotion over Dens death and asks him if he wanted Den dead. He replies yes and Sharon storms out.

    The police release Chrissie and as she walks out, Jake appears. She is shocked to see him back and they hug.moreless

    The market is cordoned off as the police continue their investigation. Chrissie tries to confront Kat but Kat refuses to listen until Zoe's name is mentioned. Chrissie begs Kat to give her an alibi for Zoe's sake.
    Convinced that the police will believe her word over Chrissie's, Sam tells her brief that she intends to tell the whole truth. However, the police try to twist events that make Sam look guilty. Sam tells them how Chrissie killed Den and how they buried him, but keeps Zoe's name out of it.
    Sharon and Dennis quiz Chrissie on her version of events. She admits that she lied about Den returning to the Vic and insists that Sam forced her to lie.
    Kat asks Mo to give Zoe and Chrissie and alibi and reveals that Zoe was there when Den was murdered. Stacey hears all of this. Mo tells Kat that she was seen with other people and is unable to give an alibi.
    When the police question the Slater's about Zoe, Stacey tells then that her and Chrissie stayed there on the night of Den's murder. The family is shocked at Stacey's lies but Kat is proud.
    Outside, Kat tells Chrissie that she has an alibi. Just then, the police arrive and arrest Chrissie.moreless

    Pauline takes Dennis and Sharon back to her house and they speculate who the body can be. Sharon is distraught that her wedding day has been ruined.
    Chrissie takes Dens mobile and plants it at Sam's house. At the police station, Sam is eager to tell the police everything but they tell her she will be interviewed in the morning. She shouts at them that the body is Den's.
    Dennis goes to the Vic and asks to see the body. The police confirm that it is Den's which shocks the Square. Dennis returns to find Sharon but she refuses to believe it. She puts back on her wedding dress and insists on going back out.
    Sharon leads Dennis outside to cut the wedding cake. When she sees the police bringing out a coffin, she accepts that it is Den and faints.moreless

Little Mo is uncomfortable with the questions and pretends that she hasn't seen much of him.

    Tina quizzes Johnny on why he didn't try to contact her after they broke up. He admits he was angry with her but is now happy the truth came out. He then asks her to move in with him, which she accepts.

    Kat worries that Zoë won't forgive her and asks her for a drink. Kat breaks down about how Zoë is the only good thing in her life and insists that she came back for her. Zoë confesses all about the miscarriage and Dennis. Worried that Zoë will tell Kat about Den's death, Chrissie nervously watches they're conversation. She interrupts the conversion when Zoë starts getting upset.

    Alfie insists to Little Mo that he and Kat are over and proposes that they come clean about their relationship. Little Mo tells him that it's over between them and that he and Kat should make a go of things.moreless

    Alfie and Little Mo are stunned that Kat is back and rush out of the Vic. Little Mo feels that Kat's return changes everything for her and Alfie but he insists that it doesn't. Kat catches up with them and asks to talk to Alfie alone. Alfie tells Kat that she can't keep leaving and expecting everyone to be waiting for her.

    Little Mo calls on Billy to tell him of Kat's return and he quickly tells her that he is not prepared to cover for her and Alfie. She confesses to him that she kissed Alfie but that's as far as it went.

    Kat takes Alfie to a club where he tells her about what's been happening since she left. She is delighted to hear about Andy's death but Alfie insists that it doesn't mean they can start over. Kat demands to see Alfie's market stall. She makes him laugh with an imitation of his sales patter. For a minute, he forgets everything and looks at her tenderly but then he remembers his anger.

    Billy confides that he can't take the pain anymore. He wants a divorce. Little Mo is shocked by this and tells him it's not necessary. She declares that Alfie's just a mate - she doesn't love him. Billy admits that he loves Freddie and that he will still treat him like a son. She realsises that she still loves Billy and tells him there might still be a chance. He promises not to tell Kat about her and Alfie, but Little Mo insists there's nothing to tell.

    Kat and Alfie reminisce about their first meeting. Kat remembers how Little Mo made her realise that she loved him. She wishes that she could be more like Little Mo, which makes Alfie looks away guiltily. He insists that is it wasn't Andy; something else would have broken them up.

    Kat wonders if Alfie has met someone else when she notices he is not wearing his wedding ring. He pauses but then denies it. She breaks down and cries about her struggle to forget him. She begs for forgiveness and promises to show him that they are meant to be together.moreless

    After all the trouble caused, Keith decides that the family will return to Walford. Demi packs but with the intention of meeting Leo so they can run off together. She says a tearful goodbye to Aleesha and promises to come and get her soon. However when the time comes for Demi to run to the bus stop, she is unable to leave Aleesha and takes her too. Leo knows that they can't run away with her as well but refuses to return to his violent dad. He declares his love for Demi and leaves her behind.

    At her hostel, Kat discovers that her cash has been nicked and lays into her flatmate. They're pulled apart and she's kicked out. With little cash, a bus to Walford seems her only option. Kat arrives back in Walford but puts her hood on so nobody can see her. She heads for the Slater house.

    Little Mo and Alfie are inside the Slater house discussing the events of the previous night. She confesses to Alfie that she is unable to sleep with him due to the rape. He assures her that it is alright and that he cares for her and wants to tell everyone. They hear the front door opening and rush out. Kat enters the kitchen to find it empty. When Mo returns with Charlie, she finds Kat's lipstick and knows she was there.

    The Millers arrive home and Keith instantly apologises to Jim and Charlie for causing the rat problem and offers to help catch them. When Dot hears about it, she orders Jim to tell Keith where the rats really came from. Jim forces and apology to Keith and Charlie invites them for a drink on Jim. Demi is shocked to see Leo in the Square. He couldn't leave without saying goodbye. He reveals he is going home and is going to wait for the right time until they can be together.

    Kat sneaks around the Square and observes Zoë and Alfie talking. Little Mo meets up with Alfie and they arrange to announce their relationship in the pub. Mo finds Kat at the train stations and tears up her ticket. Kat insists that everyone is fine without her and that she is not staying. However, when the bus driver won't accept her torn ticket, she is forced to make a decision. She grabs some of her clothes and goes to the toilets to get changed.

    At the Vic, Little Mo is nervous about their announcement. Alfie suggests she approaches him at the bar and then he will snog her. He stands at the bar and gives her the signal. He turns around when he's taped on the shoulder and is shocked to be greeted by Kat.moreless

    Alfie chases after Billy after being caught with Little Mo. Billy goes home and grabs a rolling pin but Pat stops him from going out. She lies to Alfie about Billy's whereabouts but is unable to convince Billy to leave Alfie alone.

    Rosie and Keith are woken by Demi crying. She reveals that Leo should play are part in Aleesha's life. Keith goes to Leo's flat but Ray slams the door in his face. However, when he hears Ray yelling at Trisha, he bangs on the door and challenges him to a fight.

    Jim finds rats in the Brannings' kitchen, only to discover with Dot's help, that the rat problem in the Square originated from his own compost heap.

    Kat tells Mo about her boyfriend and flat before she went to prison. Mo follows her to the flat as she gathers her clothes. When Mo goes out to get some milk, Kat's old boyfriend walks in. He tries to take her money off her but Mo wrestles him off her and they flee. Kat explains to Mo that she didn't ring home because she didn't want her family to think that she was a failure. She promises to contact them when she's made a fresh start.

    Alfie and Billy come face to face. Alfie tells Billy that his feelings for Little Mo are real but before he can finish, Billy punches him. Alfie brands him a coward for not being able to be with her in the past.

    Leo and Demi meet on top of the tower block. Leo asks her to run away with him. She refuses, believing that Keith will sort things out. Leo reckons that his dad will never let him see Aleesha. Ray leads Keith to his garage where he shows him what's left of their past business's. He blames Keith for the failure of it. Ray tries to run over Keith in Clint's ice cream van. Keith drags him from the driving seat and demands that they end the feud but Ray refuses to.

    Billy quizzes Little Mo about her relationship with Alfie. He accuses her of using him as a stop gap. He's angry that she never slept with him after the trial, but melted so easily with Alfie. Little Mo opens up about her rape. She confesses that it destroyed her, but that Alfie helped her. Billy apologises and she sobs in his arms. Later, she decides not to stay at Alfie's.

    Demi confronts Ray at his flat, but he pushes her against a wall. He punches Keith, then turns on Leo. Leo begs Demi to agree to his suggestion. She nods as he is dragged inside.moreless

    Mo makes an excuse to the rest of the Slater's' so she can go and visit Kat. However, when she arrives at the prison, a guard tells her that Kat has already been released.

    The day of Aleesha's christening has arrived and Demi is secretly hoping that Leo will turn up. Leo arrives at the church halfway through the ceremony. Demi's thrilled but Keith is furious. Leo joins in the vows to look after Aleesha. Leo's dad burst into the church and drags him out. The Miller's are dismayed as the day is ruined.

    Little Mo removes her wedding ring and tells Alfie she is going to clear the air with Billy. She is surprised when Billy reveals that he enjoyed looking after Freddie and they agree to make it a regular thing. She talks to him about making a fresh start but after she leaves, Billy misinterprets her comments and thinks she wants to get back together with him.

    Mo tracks Kat down in a hostel. Kat reveals that she served two months for assaulting a policeman. She's been offered a job in a bar outside London and intends to make a new start. Mo shocks her with the news that Zoë had a miscarriage.

    Demi refuses to return to the church, so the Millers head back to the flats. Pauline's appalled to hear that Keith intends to christen Aleesha in the sink. To her surprise, he performs a sensitive and moving ceremony. While the Millers throw a party, Demi and Leo stand outside on their balconies. Demi grins as she reads Leo's declaration of love by text message. It seems that their parents can't keep them apart.

    Alfie and Little Mo are interrupted mid-kiss when Billy bursts in with his present for Freddie. His face falls as he sees them together.moreless

    With their house infested with rats, the Millers pack up to go to Uncle Clint's while the problem is being sorted out. Demi is worried about seeing Aleesha's father, Leo, but Keith promises they'll come home as soon as they can.

    Stacey sees a rat outside the back door at the Slaters'. Concerned about Freddie, Mo tells Stacey to look after him, but Stacey talks Billy into taking over the reins.

    As the Millers arriver back on their old estate, Leo's parents spot them and make it clear that they're not welcome. Demi is determined to stay indoors but Rosie sends her out to the shops. The local kids mock Demi when they see her pushing a pram around the estate. As she walks away from them, she comes face to face with Leo.

    Billy's worried about Freddie, who won't stop crying. In a panic, Billy takes him to see Dr Leroy. Billy's relieved to learn that Freddie's just teething. Little Mo rushes to find Billy after he is spotted taken Freddie to the doctors. She takes him home but is disturbed to hear about the rats. Alfie offers to let her stay at his place. She tries not to show how delighted she is, and accepts.

    Leo follows Demi into the lift and explains that he wanted to contact her. It's not long before they realise that it's been their parents keeping them apart. Rosie is furious when she catches them in the lift together and drags her inside. Leo and Demi have a secret meeting on the rood and agree that both sets of parents are out of order. Demi invites Leo to their baby's christening for the next day. A furious row breaks out when Demi and Leo are found together. Leo's dad insults Demi, and Keith flies into a rage. He accuses Leo's parents of ruining his daughter's life. Rosie and Clint have to restrain him.

    Little Mo and Alfie's time alone is interrupted when Charlie turns up. He thinks that it'd be best if all the Slaters stayed at Alfie's, he's even brought camp beds. Little Mo wonders if her relationship with Alfie is real. He's keen to prove that it is, and removes his wedding ring. He intends to get a divorce from Kat and he wants to be with Little Mo.

    Mo's visiting a friend in prison when she's distracted by some shouting. She turns to look and to her horror she sees Kat being dragged away from a visitor. Mo yells at her as she's led out of the visiting room. Kat looks back in shock.moreless

    Little Mo worries that she and Alfie are not meant to be together. He assures her it's just bad luck and suggests another date. Garry and Minty's double date goes bad before it's started when Minty's date is unable to go. When Alfie hears this, he promises to find Minty a date if he can have their flat for the night.

    It is the anniversary of Arthur's death and Dot shows Pauline and Martin some old photos of them all together. Martin lays some flowers at the grave and Pauline turns up at the same time. Pauline announces she's going to stay with some family for a while and then return and move out. She insists Martin and Sonia need a home of their own.

    Alfie gives Minty a piece of heather so his date will recognize him. As he waits in the pub, Mickey laughs at it and passes it around. Jim clips it onto his coat just as Minty's date comes in. She spots Jim with the heather and legs it.

    Martin waves Pauline off in the taxi, however as soon as the taxi's out of sight, she orders it to stop and wait. As Martin and Sonia unpack, Pauline enters and claims that her Aunty is ill and she can't stay with her. Pauline is happy now that she's got Martin back under her roof. Later, she informs Dot that she'll soon have Chloe back home as well.

    Little Mo's face lights up when she sees that Alfie's made shepherds pie for her. He doesn't let on that Garry told him it was her favourite. It's all going well when they hear Minty and Garry at the door. Alfie carries the shepherds pie to the Arches. Little Mo thinks that everything's gone wrong. Alfie kisses her and asks if it felt wrong. Little Mo shakes her head and they kiss again.moreless

    Derek, having spent the night at Dot's, decides to find somewhere to live after being thrown out by Pauline. Pauline visits Dot with some of Derek's messages and also tells her that she feels betrayed.

    Johnny catches Ruby going though his draws and she admits she was trying to contact Tina. He urges her to forget about her but Ruby has Billy secretly looking for her.

    Billy finds Tina at her mum's house and pleads with her to come back and talk to Ruby. He brings her back to Walford where Ruby tells her she's grateful for her honesty and how it's helped her relationship with her dad. Ruby goes to see Stacey before leaving and buys her a leaving present. She promises to stay in touch with her.

    Dot is flustered during her driving lesson after arguing with Pauline, but Mr. Rawlins delights her when he quotes the Bible. She later goes to Pauline and tells her that she has driven away her friends and family.

    The Millers discuss who'd make the best godparents for Aleesha. Keith reckons that they need to be well-heeled, and selects people based on money status. Demi walks away in disgust and is invited in by Pauline for a chat. Demi appreciates Pauline's wise words about families and asks her to be Aleesha's godmother. Pauline feels honoured and agrees. Rosie is angry when she hears Pauline will be godmother, but Demi insists it's her decision and asks Mickey to be godfather. The family's attention turns to an unwelcome visitor in the kitchen - a huge rat!

    Pauline's upset to hear that Derek's decided to leave. He warns her not to make the same mistakes as him as he was a stranger to his family for years. Derek promises to keep in touch with Pauline.

    As Ruby prepares to leave, Tina shows up. Ruby leaves them to talk, but Johnny runs after her. He hugs Ruby in gratitude and tells that he loves her dearly, and always has done.moreless

    Mickey finds it hard to keep Keith on the stall when profits are low. He asks Rosie to break it to him but she insists that he does it. Keith is heartbroken and so asks Darren to give him his first reading lesson. He makes a good start and Darren promises to teach him a new word everyday.

    Alfie asks Little Mo out on a date which makes Mo curious as to who her mystery man is. When she learns Mo is going to follow her out, she gets Alfie to make a prank phone call to divert her.

    Jim is jealous when Dot chooses to take a driving lesson with Mr. Rawlins rather than spend the afternoon with him, so he decides to spy on her. Sonia catches him and convinces him that Dot needs his support.

    Ruby feels like she has been given too much information about her mum when she quizzes her Dad about his relationship with Tina. She also worries that she is responsible for them splitting up. Ruby makes a decision to go back to boarding school to finishes her GCSE's.

    Little Mo can't enjoy her date with Alfie as she's constantly worrying they will get caught. When they walk home, Alfie leans in for a kiss but Mo interrupts them. Little Mo blows Alfie a kiss through the window.

    Tina returns to the house to collect the rest of her belongings. She explains to Billy that she doesn't blame Johnny for putting Ruby first. Billy tells Johnny that she's back but he doesn't go to see her. He watches as she drives out of Walford.

    Ruby tells Johnny that he was wrong to split up with Tina but he is adamant that he needs to spend time with her. Ruby later sneaks out to find Tina, but she's too late. She tells Billy they have to find her and get them back together.moreless

    Looking for support, Pauline asks Derek to talk to Martin, but he doesn't want to get involved. However, when Pauline later spots the pair deep in conversation, she assumes Derek's fighting her corner.

    Pat informs Johnny that Tina has gone and gives him advice on how to communicate with Ruby. Johnny goes home and talks to Ruby about when she was born. Johnny explains to Ruby about how he got closer to Scarlet and not so much to her. He then shows her a photo he's kept of her as a baby, proving that he didn't love Scarlet more. Ruby hugs him and they both cry.

    Martin and Sonia call round to Pauline's. They assert that they're not going to change their minds about Chloe. Pauline's miffed when they let slip that Derek supports their decision. When Derek returns home, she orders him to move out of her house.

    Alfie arranges an evening in with Little Mo and they decide to watch a film together. Nana guesses that Alfie has a lady friend coming over when he arranges for her to go out. But things don't go to plan when the DVD player won't work and Nana arrives home early. Alfie convinces Nana that his date stood him up so he invited Little Mo round.moreless

    Ruby confronts her dad about how long he and Tina have been seeing each other. She is furious with him for cheating on her mum but Johnny tells her that her mum knew about Tina and she understood. Ruby accuses him of being happy when she died as it meant he was free.

    Pat gives Tina a drink to settle her nerves but Tina is adamant everything is ruined. Tina decides to leave and packs. Pat tells Tina she is making a mistake as she walks out of Walford.

    Martin and Sonia move into the Brannings' as Pauline sits alone at the Fowlers'. Dot tries to let Pauline know she is not taking sides, without much success. Dot tells Jim, Martin and Sonia that she is sure she knows Pauline will come round.

    Ruby starts to talk about the fire and how she believes it was caused deliberately. She asked about his business but he claims it has nothing to do with it. Ruby then accuses him of loving Scarlet more that her as he went to Scarlet's room first to rescue her. She explains how she and Scarlet had swapped rooms that night and they was why she was rescued instead.

    Zoë arrives at Sam's flat to help Chrissie clear up. Chrissie cleverly tests her to work out if she knew about the doorstop being there. Zoë shows no signs of knowing so Chrissie lets her go. She cleans the blood off the doorstop and returns it to Pauline.

    Ruby believes Johnny wishes she'd died instead of Scarlet. She apologizes for being the wrong daughter and runs out where Stacey is waiting for her.moreless

    Ruby, still shocked at the photo, leaves and waits for Tina to return. She then goes to the house and pretends everything is normal. Ruby quizzes Tina about her and her Dad, and Tina realises she has seen the photo.

    Pauline continues to pester Sonia about Chloe but she asks her to drop it. When Pauline refuses, Sonia asks Martin to stop her. Martin asks Pauline to stop interfering but she tries to convince him it's the right thing to do. Sonia barges in; claiming Pauline only wants Chloe to make up for her past mistakes. Sonia walks away and Pauline smiles, thinking she's won.

    Tina lies and says that the photo was taken this winter but Ruby is devastated, thinking that she and Johnny have been dating for several months. When Tina starts talking about her mothers death, Ruby realises it has been more than a few months. She refuses to leave until she is told the truth.

    Martin and Sonia tell Pauline that they're moving out. Pauline blames Sonia for turning Martin against her. He insists that he and Sonia both agree that they should leave Chloe alone.

    Chrissie helps Minty clear up the mess after the burglary at Sam's, but she makes a surprising discovery. She finds the weapon she used to kill Den – under Sam's sink. She sends Minty away and then rings Zoë and uses an excuse to get her there.

    Ruby demands to see the photo again. She goes for the box but drops it. Lots of photo's of Tina and Johnny come flying out. Ruby demands the truth so Tina tells her that she has been with Johnny for ten years. Ruby runs into the Square and Tina follows her. Ruby calls her a liar and informs her that she can consider her relationship with Johnny to be over.moreless

    Rosie gives Keith a leaflet about a literacy lesson but he is far from happy about having to go. He backs out when he sees Derek there. He hides in another room which turns out to be a life drawing class. Keith's horrified when the instructor thinks he's the model and has to make a quick escape. After all the embarrassment, Darren offers to teach him to read.

    Dot awaits her driving instructor. Mr Rawlins arrives to collect her as Mrs Bartholomew couldn't make it. Dot warms to Mr Rawlins but Patrick is quick to wind Jim up about Dot being alone with another man.

    Ruby starts to become suspicious of Tina's motives when she keeps wanting to spend time with her. Tina quizzes Stacey about her and when Ruby finds out, she is far from happy that Tina's been checking up on her.

    Minty discovers Sam's flat has been broken into. He calls the police and Chrissie offers to help clear up the mess.

    Alfie sneaks into the back of the Vic when Little Mo is there and tells her he'd been thinking of her. She questions whether they are doing the right thing and he assures her they are.

    Ruby wants to appologise to Tina so she and Stacey go to give her a plant. Pat lets them in; believing that Tina is upstairs when she is really out with Johnny. Ruby finds a photo of Tina and Johnny together and realises they have been going out for more than a few weeks.moreless

    When Zoë gives Little Mo a make-over, it's not only Alfie's eye she catches. Danny realises how good she looks and asks Alfie to put in a good word for him. Before she can say anything, Mo finds herself agreeing to a date with Danny.

    Alfie talks to Nana about having feelings for someone. She witnesses an exchange between him and Jane and assumes it's her. Little Mo manages to convince Danny she is too busy for a date, much to Alfie's relief. When Nana catches Jane alone, she tells her that Alfie loves her. Jane is shocked by the revelation.

    Martin argues with Pauline for what has happened with Sonia and asks her to drop it. Pauline tries her best to get Martin to admit how he felt about leaving Rebecca – and Martin tries his best to get Pauline to let it go. But before long, she's playing Martin and Sonia off against each other.

    Ruby feels left out when Johnny prefers to spend time with Tina. Tina tries to get Ruby involved by Johnny keeps sending her away. Tina is delighted when he decides to bring Ruby with them to dinner.

    Jane goes to Alfie's and makes it clear that she doesn't have feelings for him. He realises what Nana has done and they both laugh it off, however Alfie is horrified when Jane tells him she told Little Mo about it.

    Sonia confronts Martin over what Pauline told her and they soon realise what Pauline has been doing. Martin confronts Pauline and tells her to leave the situation as it is. However, once Martin has gone, Pauline calls up Margaret about arranging another visit.

    Little Mo gives Alfie the cold shoulder in the Vic. She is relieved when he tells her about Nana's misunderstanding and they arrange to talk outside.     It's Sonia's 20th birthday and she is surprised by Pauline and Derek's gift. Pauline apologises to Sonia for her recent behavior about Chloe and the two get stuck into some cleaning. Sonia realises Pauline wants to talk about sometime and asks her to say what it is. Pauline blurts out that she's been to see Chloe.

    Ruby and Tina are about to set off on their day about but Ruby injures her ankle on the stairs. Ruby is shocked with Tina's first aid skills. Tina reveals how she brought up hr brother and sister when they were little.

    Sonia explodes a Pauline for seeing Chloe and informs her they lost all right to her years ago. Pauline calms her down by talking about Chloe but sets her off again by saying she doesn't know what love is.

    Dot has another driving lesson but this time it's with Jane and after completing a circuit on the Square, Jane suggests they go somewhere bigger.

    Tina talks to Ruby about her childhood and her own parent's death. Tina assures Ruby that she'll never come between her and Johnny however Ruby admits that their relationship isn't that strong. Since the death of her mum and Scarlet he's shut her out.

    Jane's so pleased with Dot's progress that she lets her drive to the supermarket. However, they are left standing when thunder strikes. Jane helps restore Dot's confidence and Dot decides to get professional driving lessons.

    Sonia tries to explain how she couldn't have brought up Chloe on her own but Pauline doesn't listen and insists she is going to see Chloe again. Sonia begs her not to and seeing her weakness, Pauline softens her attitude. Pauline convinces her that Chloe needs her and she must get back into her life.     Ian gives Pauline Margaret's phone number and she calls to try and arrange a date to see Chloe. Pauline is worried that she'll e see as common while Ian tries to assure her everything will be fine.

    Garry and Minty have a lunch date with the two girls they met at speed-dating. They meet up in the Vic but Minty's date doesn't turn out quite the way he had planned. Garry is pleased with is date but when Minty sneaks out, Garry abandons his date for the sake of Minty.

    Jim tries to put Dot off having a driving lesson with Derek but Dot is unperturbed. Her lesson with Derek gets off to a bad start and Derek comes close to hysteria at her driving. She manages to cause a traffic jam and smash into half the market before Derek orders her to stop driving. Back at home he gives her the keys back and tells her that he won't be giving any more lessons.

    Pauline goes to Margaret's house and the pair are uncomfortable around eachother. Margaret warns Pauline not to confuse Rebecca. Pauline's face lights up when she sets eyes on her granddaughter and Margaret watches edgily as Pauline plays with Rebecca. When it's time to leave, Pauline kisses her goodbye, telling her she does not know when she'll be able to see her again. Outside this house, Pauline brakes down in tears.

    At the café, Dot moans to Jane about how bad her lessons were. Jane takes pity on her and offers to teach her how to drive. Meanwhile, Pauline can't stop talking about Chloe to Ian. She reveals that she's going to come clean to Sonia about the visit. To Ian's dismay, she insists that now that she's found Chloe, she won't let her go again.moreless

    Ian and Pauline struggle to find Chloe's grandmother's address and even Jane tells then it's wrong. Pauline thinks Sonia might have it and searches through her belongings but is nearly caught by Sonia.

    It's Dot's first driving lesson and Jim decides to have the lesson in the sitting room. Annoyed with Jim's methods, Dot heads out to the car and jolts it down the road, much to everyone's amusements. Eventually the car breaks down.

    Now with the address, Pauline insists on going to the house. Ian thinks she could cause trouble and offers to go there first. Although Jane disapproves, she agree to go with him.

    Dot is furious when she finds out the car ran out of fuel. She sacks him as her instructor and storms off inside. Jim, Patrick and Derek revel in pulling off their scam. However, his happiness is short lived when Dot announces she has chosen a new instructor – Derek.

    Keith arranges to meet Darren's teacher but he keeps it a secret from Rosie. Keith learns that Darren is struggling with his reading and writing and he decides to make a deal with Darren - if Darren works harder at school, Keith will learn to read.

    Jane and Ian visit Margaret and Jane tells her that they want to apologise for Sonia. Margaret can't forgive Sonia's actions and refuses to let the Fowlers near her granddaughter. Ian tries to convince Margaret to see Pauline, but only infuriates her. Jane steps in and asks Ian to leave her with Margaret. She strikes a chord by empathising with her loss and opens up about losing her husband. She persuades Margaret that Pauline would love Chloe at a time when the orphan needs it. To Ian's delight, Margaret agrees to let Pauline see her granddaughter.moreless

    Tension is in the air at the Fowlers', as Martin leaves for Asif's stag party in Edinburgh. Dot apologises to Sonia for telling Pauline about Chloë, but Dot and Pauline fail to resolve their differences on the matter. With Sonia not wanting to go back to Pauline, Dot lets her stay at her house until Martin returns.

    Johnny and Tina meet in the Square and walk arm in arm for everyone to see that they are a couple. Tina and Ruby are both equally nervous about spending the day with each other. They both change their clothes to match the others with hilarious results. Stacey arranges a "get-out" phone call for Ruby so that she can escape if her shopping trip with Tina proves too painful but Johnny hears about it. Not wanting anything to spoil the day, he hides Stacey's phone from her so she can't call Ruby.

    At the Millers, Mickey returns with an old computer someone was throwing out. He sets it up and he and Darren have fun on a talking program. Keith feels left out when he's unable to type words for the computer to say.

    Patrick and Jim discuss Dot learning to drive and decide that he is going to put Dot off driving. He is delighted when Dot tells him she doesn't feel like learning to drive however Sonia steps in and suggests he teach Dot to drive.

    Keith finds a letter for him from the school but there is nobody around to read it. He goes to the computer and manages to copy the letters words into the talking program. The computer reads that Darren's having trouble at school. Keith confronts him and makes him promise to work harder.

    Stacey panics when she cant find her phone to call Ruby. She waits for Ruby to return but when she apologises she finds out that Ruby had a great time with Tina. Furthermore, her phone had been there all the time, or so Johnny would like her to think.

    Derek feels that he has done something to upset Pauline and gets Ian to speak to her. Pauline admits to Ian that it's all been about Chloe and that she misses her. She explains the situation about the grandmother and Ian offers to help get Chloe back.moreless

    Pauline's annoyed when Sonia and Martin head for the chippy after she has prepared lunch. Sonia realises that Pauline's annoyance doesn't stem from the lunch arrangements and Pauline tells them that she's upset because they didn't tell her they saw her granddaughter. Martin tries to talk to Pauline but Sonia is unable to keep out of the discussion and it turns into a personal argument. Pauline sends Martin out while she talks to Sonia.

    Minty and Garry decide not to meet Alfie for a drink as planned, as they feel that Alfie will crow about his success at speed-dating. They decide to lock themselves in the Arches for a slim-line lunch and follow the advice given in the book How to Meet Your Mate.

    Pauline tells Sonia that she should be putting her daughter first but Sonia insists she should be left in peace. She snaps at Pauline telling her to let go and accept her mothering days are over. Sonia says Chloe can contact her if she wants when she's older but Pauline thinks it will be too late then. She begs Sonia to let her see Chloe. Sonia is forced to confess how she lied her way in and how they're not welcome there. Pauline continues to argue so Sonia screams at her than Chloe is gone and that's the end of it.

    Elsewhere, Alfie and Little Mo both find it hard to hide their delight when they realise that neither of them has a new partner.

    Ruby tells Stacey about her meeting with Tina but Stacey gives less than positive advice. They go around the market stalls and Stacey helps herself to items. When Martin catches them he yells for everyone to see. Tina spots the argument and offers to pay for the stolen fruit. Ruby smiles at her for helping and is touched by her gesture.moreless

    As Johnny prepares a meal for Tina and Ruby, he keeps telling Ruby they are just friends as she tries to find out what the relationship is about. Tina arrives feeling nervous. Ruby realises that she's seen Tina before - she was in the cab that nearly ran her over. Johnny's on edge as Ruby asks Tina a lot of questions about why she is in Walford and where she works.

    Garry, Minty and Alfie prepare to go speed-dating. Garry advises Minty on his clothing choice and gives them tips on how to read a woman's body language. Alfie doesn't buy it and wants to get the night over with, while Minty gets confused trying to take it all in.

    Ruby continues to probe Tina who finds it all amusing but Johnny asks Ruby to stop being so nosy. Tina listens to them talk to each other about music and is charmed by their relationship.

    At the speed dating, Garry flirts outrageously and manages to offend all of the women he talks to. Minty's rather tongue-tied and Alfie's his natural self. Alfie admits to a woman that his mind is on someone else, Little Mo, and that he shouldn't have ignored his feelings for her.

    When Tina is in the bathroom, Ruby tells Johnny to admit she's his girlfriend. Johnny tells her it's early days and that Tina will never replace her mum. When Tina comes back, she thanks Johnny for telling Ruby the truth. Everything is going great until Tina accidentally makes a comment about being mother' with the coffee. She immediately appolgises to Ruby who tells her it's fine. Tina says goodbye and leaves but Johnny insists on walking her. He tells her the night was perfect and that Ruby will just need time to adjust.

    Minty follows Garry's advice and tries mirroring women's body language. They think that he has a nervous tic and it causes embarrassing situations. To his great relief, the final bell rings and the event's over. The boys check over the score board Minty's thrilled that someone's ticked his name. Garry demands a recount as no one's marked him down and they are both jealous that Alfie's been a hit with everyone, but he didn't tick anyone in return.

    When Johnny gets home, Ruby confesses that she felt awkward meeting Tina, but admits that she likes her. Johnny assures her that it'll get easier as they get to know each other.moreless

    Pauline expresses her anger to Dot about Martin and Sonia going to see Chloe and keeping it a secret. Dot tries to reassure Pauline that the last thing Martin and Sonia wanted to do was to hurt her by not telling her about Chloe. Sonia realises that something must be wrong and decides to have a word with Pauline but Dot narrowly averts her. However, Pauline is livid with Sonia but manages to keep quiet about her feelings.

    Dot talks to Pauline about how Charlie used to laugh at the thought of her learning to drive and worries that Jim will do the same. Pauline encourages Dot to take some lessons but is saddened by Jim and Patrick's amusement. Even more determined, Dot finds her old provisional license.

    Meanwhile, Little Mo advises Alfie on what to wear to the speed dating event. They fish for information about each other's love lives but neither one wants to admit their feelings for the other.

    Tina gives Johnny a deadline to tell Ruby about their relationship. He looses track of time when he is with Ruby, and returns to the club to find Tina gone. He asks Pat where she is and is horrified to hear that she is leaving. He gets to Tina just as she is leaving in the taxi and begs her to stay with him. She doesn't believe him when he promises to tell the world about them, so he invites her round to dinner, where he'll introduce her to Ruby. Tina smiles and accepts the offer.moreless

    Ruby's gutted when Danny is unable to drive her to school after getting a puncture in his tyre. Trying to help her friend, Stacey encourages Ruby to pretend she's ill so that she can call Danny and ask him to pick her up from school. All goes to plan until Danny realises what Ruby is up to. He lets her down gently but Ruby is mortified thinking her life is over because she's been rejected.

    Both Alfie and Little Mo try and find out about each other's relationships. Garry and Minty ask Alfie to go speed-dating with them and he reluctantly agrees when Little Mo, sacrificing herself, tells him it's a good idea.

    Dot pesters Jim to get rid of the car however, many of her friends are envious of their freedom with their car which helps Dot make a decision – she is going to learn how to drive.

    Johnny tries to make up with Tina but she doesn't want to listen. Pat suggests that he is using Ruby as an excuse not to commit with her and Tina confront Johnny about it. She wonders if he is scared about loosing someone else. She tells him that Ruby cold be the key to them being together. Tina demands that he changes and that he introduces her to Ruby as his girlfriend and tells Ruby that his life's moved on now. Johnny is left speechless.moreless

    Elsewhere, Johnny tries his best to make amends with Tina. He leaves a gift with Pat when he's unable to find her, but Pat feels caught in the middle. Pat tells Johnny that if he can't give Tina what she wants, then he should let her go.

    Meanwhile, Dot and Jim discuss what they should buy with their money but they both have very different ideas. Dot sends Jim off to buy a sofa but he spots a car.moreless

    There's tension at the Fowlers' when Pauline makes barbed comments towards Martin and Sonia about keeping secrets. When Ian finds Pauline at the allotments she tells him about Chloe and he's shocked by her decision – she wants to get Chloe back.

    The police conduct their interviews on Pat and Billy following Phil's capture. They both stick to the story that they knew nothing about his activities and the police are forced to let them go.

    When Tina hears that Johnny is at home due to an illness, she goes to the shop to buy him some medicine. She then goes over to Johnny's and insists on looking after him. They spend the afternoon together and everything goes great. But then Ruby returns home and Johnny hurries her out of the back door. Tina looks back at the house in tears.

    Meanwhile, Jim is shocked when the money from the back-dated pension turns out to be over £4000. He starts planning what to do with it but his plans are squashed when Dot finds out and insists on buying new furniture.

    Chrissie decides on an old English heroes fancy dress theme for a St George's Day party. Little Mo comments on her flirting with Jake, and Chrissie suggests she finds herself a man. She can hardly contain her excitement when Jake tells her Alfie is on his way home. Little Mo rushes home to get changed and returns to the Vic to wait for Alfie. She is disheartened when Jake tells her Alfie has decided to stay with Spencer for a bit longer.moreless

    Phil tells a shocked Billy that he needs £3,000 so he can get out of the country. With Sam away, he asks Billy to collect the money from the businesses. Trying to reassure Phil that the businesses are fine, Billy tells him that he no longer works for Sam and is unable to get hold of that amount of cash. Billy fills Phil in on events since he has been away, but leaves out the parts about Sam loosing all the businesses. Wanting to help out, Billy leaves promising he will return with the money.

    Phil waits in the living room but hears Tina coming down the stairs. He grabs her and warns her to keep quiet. Outside, police cars fill the Square looking for Phil, followed by DI Riddick. They start banging on doors.

    Billy charges in Johnny's house and pleads for money to help a friend. The police interrupt their conversation but Johnny puts on an act to get rid of them. When he realises Tina is in the house with Phil, he gives Billy the money but makes him promise that Phil will never return.

    Pat comes downstairs when the doorbell rings and is horrified to see Phil there. Thinking quickly she orders him to run out of the back while she and Tina stall the police. Phil runs into Ian's backyard whilst Ian is there. Phil punches Ian in the face and drags him inside.

    Phil demands any money Ian has on him. When Ian doesn't have enough, Phil doesn't believe him and drags him upstairs. He drowns Ian's head down the toilet to get more money from him but they are interrupted when Jane calls out. Ian gets rid of her and they go back downstairs.

    Billy burst into his house with the money in his hands but DI Riddick is there and sees everything. Riddick tries to break Billy by suggesting they can find evidence that Phil was there.

    Ian is terrified when Lucy walks into the kitchen. When the police bang on the door, Phil takes her into the living room to make sure Ian doesn't tell the police he is there. Ian uses Phil's son, Ben, as a way to soften him. He offers to help him escape by getting some money. Ian tells Phil to wait in the Archers while he gets it.

    Tired of waiting for Ian, Phil leaves the Archers but the police spot him. They chase him around the Square as he runs through gardens. Phil barges into the Fowlers' house and asks for Sonia's help. As he rushes out, she locks the door to block the police, but Pauline angrily let them in. He heads for the Vic and finds himself surrounded by police. He takes on a few officers before being overwhelmed. Ian appears and taunts Phil for falling for his set-up as he is taken away in a police car.moreless

    Pauline has a crisis about her age and role in life. Trying to cheer her up; Dot throws a surprise birthday party for the two of them. Jim warns Dot against telling Pauline about Chloe but once the two of them are talking Dot eventually tells her. Upset that everyone knew but her, Pauline tells Dot off or keeping it from her. Pauline leaves Dot's promising she won't tell Sonia that she knows about Chloe.

    An unidentified man makes a call at Pat's house. With no one home, he doesn't leave a message. Chrissie is unnerved when she goes to the barrel store and hears something moving, but nobody seems to be there.

    Meanwhile, Chrissie tries to find out why everyone wants to celebrate Saint Georges' day but nobody can seem to remember what Alfie did the previous year. In the end, she decides to throw a party.

    Its Tina's first night working at Scarlet and Johnny is impressed with how well she is doing. However, he wrongly assumes that they are back together. Tina makes it clear to him that they are not.

    The mystery man watches Pat and Billy return home from the Vic and when Pat goes upstairs, he enters through the back. Billy is shocked when he turns around and sees a very rough looking Phil standing there.moreless

    Johnny rushes off to see Tina as he wants her back but she tells him if they can't have an open relationship they can't have one at all. Tina leaves for a job interview, and returns the diamond earrings to Johnny.

    Meanwhile, Ruby is feeling neglected and Stacey suggests she runs away to get Johnny's attention. Ruby thinks it's a good idea and puts her plan into action.

    Stacey starts back at the MinuteMart. Patrick and Yolande are setting up their new fruit display but, when Martin realises the MinuteMart is stocking fruit, he's livid as it could destroy his business.

    Little Mo returns from visiting Lynne and is disappointed to hear that Alfie is away. In the Vic, Martin apologises to Patrick and Yolande. They offer to take the fruit down but he insists they keep it.

    Minty tells Garry he has to stop Mo coming over or they'll never pull. Charlie talks to Mo about it but she thinks that Charlie wants her home with him. Charlie's plans are ruined when Mo springs an afternoon of family entertainment on him. He escapes to Garry and Minty's – much to their frustration.

    Johnny finds Ruby packing, and voices her problem but they get nowhere Johnny explodes at the mention of his wife and daughter. Ruby tries to touch him, but he shrugs her away. He informs her that she will attend the therapist and orders her to unpack.

    Johnny seeks solace in Tina and tells her that he wants her to be in his life. He offers her a job at Scarlet. She accepts the job but not his offer of a relationship. When Pat returns, she is disappointed with Tina. However, Tina assures her that she didn't give in to him but she knows how to play him to get exactly what she wants.moreless

    Johnny is furious with Pat for renting a room to Tina, and clears out Tina's flat. Demanding to talk to Tina, he tells her about Ruby and her sleepwalking and how he can't have his two worlds colliding.

    Minty is still convinced Mo is after him. Garry, at Minty's behest, persuades Mo not to bring any more food over for them. She agrees, but her interest is piqued when she hears that Minty and Garry are planning a night in with curry and beer.

    Stacey is funding it hard without any wages. She goes to Patrick and Yolande and begs for her job back. She is shocked when they agree to let her come back. Also, Stacey tries to talk Ruby out of going to the psychologist but she says she has to for her dad.

    With Demi still refusing to let Keith look after Aleesha, Rosie takes her to work with her. Keith confronts her when she gets home and she is forced to reveal the truth.

    Keith meets Demi at the bus stop and she realises he knows what has been happening. He makes a promise to her that Aleesha will always be safe with him and that he isn't angry with her. Demi now feels she can trust Keith.

    Mo crashes Garry and Minty's night in and walks in on Minty in the shower. He is furious and makes it clear he isn't interested in her. Mo breaks down with laughter telling them it was a joke between her and the market girls.

    Elsewhere, Chrissie and Sam are finally getting back on track with the pub until Pauline asks Chrissie for her doorstop. Sam assures Chrissie there are no loose ends but Chrissie isn't so sure.

    Tina hides when Ruby visits Johnny. He is shocked by her thoughtful gesture and tries to apologize for his actions, but Tina doesn't want to listen to him.moreless

    Stacey finds Ruby locked out in the Square after she has been sleepwalking. Unable to get in contact with her dad, Ruby goes to the Slaters' with Stacey. The girls start talking and Ruby confides in Stacey about her family and the reason she sleepwalks and then Stacey talks about her father's death. They leave messages for Johnny but get no answer.

    Johnny is at the club and is in a foul mood. Tina goes to see him but he makes it clear to her that their relationship is over. He wants her out of his flat and out of his life. She warns him that he's making a big mistake.

    Elsewhere, Demi is up late trying to get Aleesha to sleep. Keith wakes up and offers to help but Demi makes excuses as she doesn't trust him with her. Minty's late night snack wakes up Garry and they end up talking about Mo. Minty pleads with Garry to talk to Mo as he is convinced that she fancies him and is trying to chat him up.

    Pauline is awake, worrying, as it's the anniversary of Mark's death. She opens her heart to Derek and apologises to Martin for keeping Mark's illness a secret from him for so long. Pauline tells Martin that she doesn't want any more secrets in her family. Martin agrees but feels guilty about keeping Chloe a secret.

    In the morning, Stacey heads over to Johnny's and tells him off for not being there for Ruby. Johnny is riddled with guilt and decides to talks to Ruby.

    Meanwhile, Rosie is forced to take Aleesha to work with her when Demi begs her not to leave Alseeha with Keith. Also, Minty is horrified when Mo makes more comments to him at the Café.

    Tina has finished packing but decides she will not let Johnny boss hr around. She goes over to Pat's and asks if she has got room for her to stay for a bit. Pat agrees and Tina moves in.

    Johnny's concerned that anything could have happened to Ruby. She is pleased that he wants to fix her sleepwalking. However, Johnny suggests she should see a psychotherapist and she is distraught that he thinks that she's got serious problems.moreless

    As Rosie gets ready for work, she quizzes Demi on why she won't go to school. Demi won't admit she doesn't trust Keith to look after Aleesha so Rosie puts it down to her being bullied.

    Johnny goes to see Tina and she assures him she didn't go out with anyone else the previous night. Johnny doesn't believe her story. She wants a proper relationship, but Johnny believes that his life's with Ruby. He tells her that it's over.

    It's Keith's first day on the stall and he's feeling nervous. He annoys Mickey by slacking off on the stall. Mickey complains to Rosie about Keith's laziness, but agrees to give him a chance. Meanwhile, Keith's pleased to make his first sale.

    Elsewhere, Social Services contact Yolande about fostering another child. Patrick is uneasy of the idea but gives his consent. Yolande realises it is too soon after Paul's death and tells Social Services they cannot foster anymore.

    Demi sneaks home from school, pretending that there's a teachers' strike. Rosie doubts her and threatens to call the school. Demi admits that she doesn't trust Keith as a carer because he can't read.

    Mo helps Garry and Minty move into their new flat but Minty gets the feeling that Mo is interested in him when she keeps making saucy comments. With everything set up, Minty and Garry settle down to watch TV but Mo disturbs their plans and joins them.moreless

    Demi still doesn't trust Keith to look after Aleesha and lies to him about their doctors' appointment times so she can go alone. Meanwhile, Danny takes care of nana at home and convinces Alfie to go and see Spencer.

    Rosie gets the wrong end of the stick when Mickey speaks hypothetically about wanting to help Keith out by giving him a job on the stall. When Mickey sets Rosie straight, Rosie shames Mickey into offering Keith a part-time job.

    Stacey is worried that Ruby will forget about her when she's away at college. Ruby promises Stacey that they will never drift apart.

    Keith is pleased to have an offer of a job but Mickey has to fake his happiness. The mood soon shatters when Demi announces she's decided to leave school straight away to care for Aleesha. She declares that she won't change her mind.

    Tina dresses up and goes to Scarlet, where she flirts with a man in the bar to make Johnny jealous. Johnny's annoyed by Tina's games and believes that they can work things out. Tina doesn't listen and leaves with her date. Outside she finds herself unable to get in the taxi with him and walks home by herself.moreless

    It's Tina's birthday and Johnny showers her with gifts. Later, she overhears Billy telling Pat about a diamond he's been sent to pick up, and presumes that Johnny is going to propose to her. At the pub, Pat gives Tina a birthday card and reveals she knows about her and Johnny and lets Tina know she is there if needed.

    Peter is shocked when he realises Ian got their new TV from the Millers. When he questions Darren about it, Darren reveals that Keith can't read. Peter insists that Keith knowing so much without having the benefit of reading makes him more remarkable.

    Alfie receives a letter from Spencer inviting him and Nana to visit. Danny's thrilled at the prospect of getting rid of them and starts planning a house party. While packing, Nana tries to reach a photo on a shelf but the chair gives in and she falls to the floor.

    Johnny gives Tina a jewellery box but she has to fight back the tears when she sees they are only earrings. Johnny professes his love for Tina but confesses that he can't marry her as he can't tell Ruby about their relationship. She understands and they arrange to spend the night in together

    The Millers are shocked when Peter arrives with their TV in tow. Peter announces that Ian insisted on the TV being returned when he learned it was their only one. Ian is unable to say anything as Rosie hugs him.

    Aflie and Jake return home and find Nana lying on the floor. Luckily it is just a sprain but Jake's furious at Danny for letting his own interests get in the way of Nana's well-being.

    In the café, Peter admits to Darren that Ian knew nothing about returning the TV. Darren returns home and makes up with his father. Demi is far from pleased when she find out that Keith's been carrying an urgent medical letter for Aleesha around without realising that it was important.

    Ruby invites Johnny to a parents' evening at her college but he's already made plans with Tina. She stomps off and seeks out Stacey to spite her father. Johnny's shocked to find Ruby and Stacey getting drunk in his office. Meanwhile, Tina fumes at home, waiting for Johnny to arrive. Tina confronts Johnny at his house but afraid that Ruby will hear, he fobs her off and tries to push her out the door.     Desperate to make up with Darren, Keith sells an old vase to raise money to send him bowling. Rosie brings home some extra money after Chrissie offer her more shifts at the Vic.

    Ruby is nervous about going to college but Johnny assures her she'll be fine. Stacey takes Ruby shopping for new college gear. She nicks an apple to show how easy it is to steal things. Then they go to Zoë's stall and while Ruby provides a distraction, Stacey shoves some items up her jumper. Ruby disapproves of the stealing and later goes back to pay for the clothes. Ruby gives Stacey a skirt as a gift and hopes that they can still be friends.

    Dot and Jim agree that it's a shame they have so much unused space in their house. Jim decides to place an ad for a lodger however Dot doesn't like the idea of a lodger invading her privacy. She makes enquiries about renting a small flat.

    Elsewhere, Johnny asks Billy to sort out the fuses in Tina's flat. However, Johnny is forced to hide when Billy arrives at Tina's and nearly catches the two of them together.

    Keith admits that he's got himself into a financial fix. Ian advises him to pull his finger out and get a job. Keith has a better idea, and makes Ian an offer. The Millers are horrified to find that Keith's sold their television to Ian. He thought they'd be pleased that he's made some money.     Still desperate for money, Rosie asks Keith to cover her shift at the Vic whilst she gets work elsewhere. Rosie is cross with Darren for calling Keith stupid and wants him to apologise and so he buys him present.

    Johnny tries his best to contact Tina but she continues to avoid his calls. When Johnny finally catches up with Tina, he is shocked to discover that she is moving into the flat permanently. Sick of their secretive relationship, Tina tells Johnny she wants them to go public.

    Johnny turns his attention to Ruby. He's arranged an interview at a posh crammer college but she'd rather go to a normal school. Ruby's desperate to please her dad and agrees to sit all her GCSEs. Afterward, Ruby heads off to town for a secret shopping trip with Stacey. Impressed by Keith's work, Sam offers him some more shifts in the Vic. However, Keith's happiness is short-lived when Sam gives Keith the task of placing the order with the brewery and he quickly makes his excuses and leaves. Keith flies into a rage when he sees what Darren's bought for him. It's a child's ABC book. Darren insists that he was only trying to help him, but Keith feels humiliated.

    Elsewhere, Minty's terrified when Mo comes onto him at the garage. Her saucy comments make him blush. Word soon gets around and Minty's horrified to realise that everyone's laughing at him.moreless

    Sonia tells Martin that she'll never forgive him if he prevents her from seeing Chloe. Insisting that Sonia tells the truth, Martin accompanies her when she visits Chloe. He is shocked when he sees his little girl and tells Sonia that he understands why she kept coming.

    Juley persuades the market inspector to reinstate the stall but Mickey is angry when he sees him setting up. He's heartbroken when Mickey tells him it's too late, he can't have a business partner that he doesn't trust. After a talk with Patrick and Gus, Juley decides the best thing to do is leave Walford.

    Martin decides its time to tell Margaret the truth about who they are. She is furious at them for lying and orders them to leave. When Martin explains why they lied she allows them to say goodbye to Rebecca. Outside the house Sonia sobs in Martin's arms.

    Stacey is feeling down after what happened at the cab office but doesn't tell anyone. Mo forces her to buy some food and then marches her to the Millers to apologise. Later, Mo rages that Stacey won't have a single friend left in the Square if she continues her reign of mischief.

    Little Mo talks to Alfie on the stall and he promises to come and say goodbye before she goes to Lynne's. However when the time comes, Alfie is unable to get anyone to watch his stall. Little Mo's cab drives past him and they both shoot a glance at each other.

    Darren promises Demi he'll prove Keith can't read. He tricks Keith into signing a letter,telling him its about school. Keith pretends to read the letter and signs it, Darren knows for sure he can't read. Darren yells at Keith for letting the family go hungry because he couldn't be bothered to read. Rosie jumps to Keith's defence, blaming his childhood. With his confidence in shreds, he announces that he won't attend his interview.

    Stacey swallows her pride and calls at Ruby's with a peace offering. Ruby assures her that Johnny will come round. Gus walks Juley to the tube station but asks him to stay in Walford. Juley tells his brother it's for the best that he leaves and the two have a heartfelt goodbye before Juley heads off.moreless

    Martin's and Sonia's marriage reaches breaking point as Martin points out the selfishness of Sonia's actions. She is adamant she is seeing Chloe again. Dot is becoming suspicious of Martin and Jim's conversations and forces them to come clean about Sonia and Chloe. Dot tries to talk Sonia out of seeing Chloe but has no luck.

    Juley has been out all night with Daryl and has lost his keys. Gus refuses to let him back in the flat and claims that Daryl's the guy who mugged Mickey. He's sick of Juley's criminal pals and wants him out of the flat.

    The Millers are in even more financial trouble when they can't afford any baby food and Darren needs new shoes. They are relieved when Mickey gets money from looking after Alfie's stall. Darren questions Keith about why he never worked, and grows suspicious when Keith misreads a job advertisement. He realises that he can't read and tells Demi about it, however she doesn't believe him.

    Jake and Danny enjoy teasing Alfie about having lunch with Little Mo but he insists they are just friends. At the restaurant, Alfie and Little Mo have such a good time and arrange to meet up when she returns from visiting Lynne.

    When Ruby asks Stacey to go to the cinema with her, Stacey refuses, accusing her of trying to buy her friendship. Stacey enjoys drinking with Daryl and he suggests they get some privacy in the cab office. Ruby sees them leave and is shocked when she realises that Daryl was her mugger. Stacey is out of her depth when Daryl comes on to her in the cab office, but Johnny arrives just in time. Johnny arrives at the cab office and grabs the man who attacked his daughter. While he calls the police, Stacey flees in tears. Juley sees Daryl being carted off by the police. He apologises to Gus and promises to change.

    Rosie steals some baby food for the shop and Mo sees her. Rosie's humiliated and begs Mo not to say anything. At home, Rosie sobs in Keith's arms. She demands that he starts earning some money.

    Martin reckons that Sonia's meddling will hurt everybody. Sonia retorts that she's already been hurt. He gives her an ultimatum - either reveal her identity, or he will.moreless

    Keith's good intentions soon turn into mayhem when he ends up making a mess of his chores. Unable to read Demi's list of instructions, he doesn't realise that Aleesha is teething and Demi is annoyed when she finds her in tears. He has also used up the only food they had left for the week. Rosie tells him to leave it to her as she finishes all the work.

    Meanwhile, Little Mo and Alfie arrange to meet for lunch. She hurries home to get something cooked and is nervous when Alfie arrives. She's not too happy when her intimate lunch turns into a family affair when Charlie, Mo and Garry gatecrash. Little Mo apologises to Alfie for the interruptions over lunch. Alfie takes the opportunity to invite her out to eat the next day. Little Mo's chuffed that he's keen.

    Stacey rejects Charlie's plans for her future. He suggests that she could go to college and better herself. Stacey throws a tantrum, claiming that no-one cares about her views. Stacey swallows her pride and calls for Ruby. Johnny answers the door and claims that she's not in. He warns Stacey that he doesn't want her anywhere near his daughter.

    Sonia works hard to try to get Martin to go and see Chloe with her. She eventually gets him to agree but then reveals that the grandmother doesn't know who they are. Martin is furious when Sonia confesses to everything and tells her there is no way he's coming with her.

    Elsewhere, Mickey's horrified when he notices Juley shaking hands with Daryl in the market. He reveals to Gus that Daryl's the thug who mugged him.moreless

    Money in the Miller house is tighter than ever and Rosie is forced to ask Chrissie for extra work. Rosie snaps at Pat in the Vic when she makes a flying comment. But Pat sees what a state Rosie's in. She explains that the bookies is re-opening and offers Rosie work handing out flyers.

    When Daryl comes for payment from the jewelry, Juley refuses and tells him its stolen. Mickey's cross to find that Juley isn't on the stall. When he does arrive, Mickey tells him off. Juley doesn't like his tone and flounces off.

    Sonia tells Martin she wants to see Chloe again. He tries to make her face up to the reality that she'll never be content with just visiting Chloe but she is determined to go again. Sonia pleads with Martin to visit Chloe with her but he refuses.

    Little Mo tries to help Alfie out by covering for him on the stall, but Alfie soon gets a shock when he realises that she has sold some of his stock at a much lower price. He isn't angry with her but is disappointed to hear that she is going away to visit Lynne.

    Ruby mopes over the loss of her friendship with Stacey. Ruby apologises to Stacey, but she's not interested. Danny suggests that she buys Stacey a present and so she buys a bracelet of Juley. She is unhappy when she finds it's broken and tells Danny about it.

    The re-opening of the bookies has reminded Patrick of Paul's death. Yolande urges him to move on and gives him cash to place a bet. Charlie calls the school to discuss Stacey's absence. They tell him that she should not be working at her age. Later, he informs Yolande that she's employed Stacey illegally. Stacey's gutted when Yolande sacks her.

    Demi loses control when she sees Stacey. She grabs a bucket of flowers and drenches her with water. The two girls scream insults at each other and start to fight. Rosie rushes out to break up the scrap. Rosie drops her flyers and scrabbles on the ground for them. Pat appears and frowns in disappointment at Rosie.

    Danny and Ruby complain to Mickey about the bracelet. He claims it's not from the stall and not his. Danny kicks up a stink at Mickey's stall and the market inspector intervenes. Mickey compensates Ruby with a necklace to which she tries to give to Stacey. Stacey blames Ruby for everything that's happened and closes the door on her. Ruby posts the necklace through the door and Stacey is touched by Ruby getting it for her. Mickey returns home looking upset. He tells his parents that due to Juley selling stolen goods, he has lost the stall.moreless

    Stacey tries her best to persuade Johnny not to send Ruby back to school. Johnny later tells Charlie that Stacey should still be attending school. Stacey feels that she's been overlooked because she's not one of Charlie's girls and that she doesn't need to be in school. He apologises for neglecting her, but he wants her to go back to school. She must have every chance possible. Stacey smiles smugly to herself.

    Jim tricks Martin and Sonia into meeting at his house. The pair are forced to talk. Sonia's desperate to discuss Chloe's future and claims that she can move on if she knows that Chloe's all right. Martin pleads with Sonia to leave Chloe alone. He doesn't believe that she'll be able to let go again. Sonia visits Chloe at her grandmother's house and is alarmed at how quickly the little girl is growing up. Chloe's grandmother invites her to call again but Sonia leaves heartbroken.

    Johnny decides to make ruby a deal - if she works hard she can move to a local school and live with him. Ruby's thrilled with the prospect of staying in Walford. Johnny explains to Tina that she must be patient as Ruby's going to be around for a while but Tina's reluctant to play second fiddle to Ruby.

    Alfie is not having much luck selling his Easter gear but after meeting Tina comes up with an idea. Little Mo see's Tina helping Alfie and feels jealous. Rosie pinches an Easter egg from Alfie's stall and stashes it in Aleesha's pram. She feels terrible when Alfie then treats the baby to a chocolate egg. Mo notices Rosie's thieving, but keeps quiet.

    Ruby gets her wires crossed when discussing Stacey's lies with Mickey. She accidentally refers to Stacey reporting Keith for benefit fraud. Mickey realises it was Stacey and dashes off home.

    Billy shows Garry and Minty the Ferreiras' old flat and they decide to buy it. They invite Billy to live with them but he declines the offer. When he sees Pat she admits that she hates living alone. She asks him to move in with her. Billy's uncertain at first, but takes her up on the offer.

    The Millers descend on the Vic after Stacey. Rosie attacks Stacey for reporting Keith for benefit fraud but she is defended by the rest of her family. Stacey tells the whole pub that they were paying taxes for Keith even though he was fine. Stacey is shocked when Ruby's identified as the source of the news and a vicious slanging match ensues between the two. Charlie's incensed and begins to drag her out of the pub. Menacingly, Stacey warns Ruby that she's made an enemy.moreless

    Sonia frets that Chloe's Gran is too old to care for her but Jim advises her that she could lose Martin if she doesn't let Chloe go. She agrees, but looks up Chloe's address on a map later. As she is about to get on the bus, she changes her mind and goes back. When Sonia confesses to Martin that she's seen Chloe at the funeral, Martin becomes angry. He tells Sonia that Chloe is no longer their daughter and storms out of the house.

    Lucy's angry at Ian for wrecking her friendship with Stacey. Jane tries to explain the hurt and humiliation that Lucy must feel. Ian's only concern is that Lucy confided in Jane and not him. Ian reveals that he's proud of Lucy for being brave enough to speak out about Stacey's bullying. He asks her not to blame Jane for betraying her secret - Jane's on her side.

    Johnny asks Stacey to keep Ruby company whilst he takes Tina shopping. When they are out, Tina suggests he introduce her to ruby but Johnny is against the idea. The two have an argument and he leaves the taxi, and Pat sees everything.

    Meanwhile, Juley agrees to shift jewellery for his friend Daryl who unbeknownst to him is the mugger who attacked Derek and Ruby.

    Stacey shows her around the Square and talks about the neighbors, she even boasts about grassing up the Millers for benefit fraud. The two share memories of their dead parents and become closer friends. As Stacey leaves she refuses to accept any money off Johnny. Ruby tries to apologise for talking about her mother but Johnny dodges the issue by informing Ruby that he's sending her back to boarding school - whether she likes it or not!moreless

    Johnny is furious when he discovers Ruby ran away from school. He takes ages talking to her that he forgets to meet Tina for lunch. Angry at being stood up, Tina arrives at Johnny's. Not wanting Ruby to know about Tina, Johnny closes the door in her face, despite Tina's offer of help.

    Kareena meets Mickey after Gus arranged their meeting. They both talk about what has happened and get back together. Sasha goes to see Adi and he forgives her for sleeping with Billy, but she tells him she doesn't love him anymore. She picks up her stuff and leaves.

    Sonia convinces Jim to go the funeral with her and is stunned when she comes face to face with. Sonia lies about her identity in the hope of getting more information and gets given the address for the wake. When she returns she throws it away but later picks it up and decides what to do with it.

    Ash admits to Johnny that there's no way they can pay for the missing cars. Johnny informs Ash that he'll take Toucan cars as payment and that he expects the Ferreiras to leave Walford. The Ferreiras meet in the Vic and decide that leaving Walford is their best option. Kareena having just got back together with Mickey is not too happy. Mickey suggests that Kareena stay with him and she reluctantly agrees.

    Johnny's evasive when Ruby attempts to discuss the death of her mother and sister, Scarlet in a fire. He loses his cool and sends Ruby to her room. Tears fill his eyes as he stares at a family picture.

    The residents of Walford gather outside to say goodbye to the Ferreiras. Ash, Adi, Ronny and Tariq pile in the car, looking forward to a new start. As Sasha walks past, she stops for one last kiss with Adi and then watches as they drive off. Kareena shouts for them to stop, telling Mickey she can't leave her brothers. She tells him she's sorry and then runs to the car. With the family all together, the Ferreiras drive out of Walford.moreless

    Sonia is determined to attend the funeral to make sure that it was Chloe's adoptive parents who were killed. Martin tries to talk her out of going but she insists that she needs to know that Chloe is being cared for.

    Adi is devastated when he sees Sasha saying goodbye to Billy outside his flat. Adi later confronts her and tells her he wants her out of his flat, his business and his life. When the rest of the family find out they take Adi's side.

    Mickey blames Juley for the problems with him and Kareena. When he confronts him a fight breaks out in the Square and Gus has to break the two of them up. Gus and Rosie take Mickey to calm down and Gus asks Rosie to stall him whilst he puts a plan into action. When Johnny believes that Danny left his post the previous night, Danny is forced to confess that he was looking after Ruby. Johnny heads over to the house and is shocked to see that his daughter is there. Ruby explains that he left school early to see him. Later, Danny takes Ruby to see her dad's new house. She's disturbed to see the family pictures hanging on his wall. As soon as Danny's back is turned, she legs it. Danny searches the Square frantically for her with no luck.

    Ash panics when he sees that Johnny's cars have gone missing. Adi parked them in the Square the previous night, and reckons that they've been stolen. Ash is certain that Johnny will go mad when he finds out. Ash suggests that Johnny contacts the police and sorts out his insurance claim. Johnny points out that he doesn't operate that way. If he's not compensated by 6pm, they'll all be in serious trouble.moreless

    Chrissie is shocked when she receives a necklace through the post that Den ordered before he died. It leads her to be irritable and even push Jake away. Later, tired of fighting, she resigns herself to Sam's demands and makes her an offer, of the two of them running the Vic together.

    Adi tries to spice up his relationship with Sasha but she is unimpressed. She tells him she's had enough and breaks up with him. Sasha goes out for a drink and talks to Billy about her problems. They end up in bed together but they both agree it was a mistake.

    Stacy is desperate to make amends for lying about the mugging. Charlie has the perfect way and sends her to tell Patrick and Yolande what she did. Instead of firing her they make her work to earn everything that she stole.

    Danny pleads with Johnny to give him his job back and tries to prove he won't let him down again. With Johnny being in a good mood, he accepts.

    Sonia and Martin arrange for Mickey and Kareena to meet up to talk. They get them both to the club but when the time comes, both Mickey and Kareena are too drunk to talk about anything.

    A young girl arrives in Walford, clearly out of place and asks Stacy for directions. When she see's the club she is shaken by the name of it and steps out onto the road. Tina's cab almost hits her but Stacy pulls her out of the way. Stacy gets acquainted with her and learns her name is Ruby. As Ruby is preparing to leave, the mugger attacks her and takes her phone. Danny fends him off. As they chat, Ruby asks Danny questions about the club owner and reveals that Johnny is her dad.

    After taking Mickey and Kareena to the club, Sonia and Martin relax at home. Sonia is horrified when she reads about a car accident which left two people dead - Chloe's adoptive parents.moreless

    Tina's arrival causes a stir in the Square, and when Garry catches a glimpse of her, he accidentally runs over Minty's foot. Danny also decides to try his luck. It's not only the men of Walford who are keeping an eye on Tina, as her arrival also temporarily bonds both Chrissie and Sam, who unite in their jealousy of her. After upsetting Pat in the pub, Johnny sends Tina back to beautify herself for later.

    Worried that Lucy is being bullied by Stacey, Jane tells Ian everything about the mugging. Ian flies off the handle and marches Lucy round to the Slater house. Charlie and Ian accuse Stacey of lying about the mugging. Stacey owns up to everything but Charlie lets her off lightly.

    Rosie can't bear to see Darren suffering with a fever, but can't afford to buy cough medicine. While Stacey's fetching the cough medicine, she pinches a tin of soup. Keith's oblivious to how she's making ends meet.

    It's Chrissie's birthday and Jake's organised a bash at Scarlet. She's chuffed when he calls over to escort her to the party. There's obvious sexual tension as he zips up her dress. Jake tempts Chrissie into Johnny's office. Jake wishes Chrissie a happy birthday with a passionate kiss.

    A randy Danny tries it on with Tina and Sasha. Both of them give him the brush-off. Finally, he attempts to make up with Sam. She pretends that she's not interested. Sam abandons Minty and finds Danny outside. It's not long before the pair are snogging passionately. Minty's fed up of Sam using him. He announces that he and Garry are getting a flat.

    Juley urges Mickey to patch things up with Kareena. Later, Juley counsels Kareena. He's surprised when she holds his hand fondly. Mickey's impressed to see Stacey all dolled up. He agrees to take her to the club. As they head off, Stacey lunges in for a kiss. Kareena spots them and furiously walks off.

    Sasha informs Johnny that she was in on the car scam as well as Tariq. Adi's hurt that she went behind his back. He wants them to settle down together, but Sasha just wants to have fun.

    Juley consoles Kareena and kisses her. Mickey walks in and attacks Juley. Johnny breaks up the fight. He's not impressed that Juley's carrying drugs and orders him to get out.

    Johnny's more interested in punishing Danny. He demands to know why he abandoned the door. Danny lies that Sam was mugged. Johnny knows that he's lying and fires him.moreless

    Dot's new alarm wakes up the whole square leaving Pauline fuming when Dot is too tired to work her shift. Johnny goes to fix it for her but Pauline is still unsure over if he can be trusted.

    Johnny suspects the Ferreira's of using his cars to moonlight and gives Billy the job of keeping an eye on them. Billy later witnesses Tariq boasting about using Johnny's cars but decides to let it go. However, thinking he's been rumbled, Tariq rushes round to see Johnny and makes a full confession. Johnny decides that instead of punishing them, he will make them pay back the profits.

    After hearing that Chrissie's birthday is coming up, Jake arranges a surprise party for her. When Sam finds out she purposely lets it slip to Chrissie. Chrissie isn't too shocked over the party but more with the person who organized it.

    Mickey still refuses to talk to Kareena after she took coke which pleases Stacy when she is able to wind Kareena up about it. Pat moves the rest of her belongings into the house and, realsiing that she will be on her own there, drops suggestions to Billy in the hopes he will move in. Also, Adi continues looking for a house for him and Sasha but she is too busy with avoiding Danny.

    Elsewhere, Lucy tries to give the earrings back to Stacey but Stacey does her best to intimidate her. Realizing that something is wrong, Jane talks to Lucy. Lucy reveals to Jane that Stacy lied about the mugging but makes her promise to keep it a secret.

    Meanwhile, Johnny's girlfriend, Tina, arrives in the Square. He explains that he's got her a flat to stay in but she's upset that he won't be living there with him. Johnny explains that they will keep to their original arrangement but she hopes that this will mark a new start for them.moreless

    Still angry about not receiving the house in Andy's will, Sam gives Pat a hard time about moving into No. 31. And it's not only Sam who's envious of Pat's good fortune: Mo verbally attacks her in the Vic. Feeling alone and lost, Johnny has a drink with Pat to cheer her up. As her leaves he makes a phone call and mentions Pat's empty flat.

    News of the attack on Mickey spreads and Stacy is the first one to be there when he won't talk to Karena. They go back to his place where Stacy makes him some food. Rosie is distraught to find that they used much of the food she was saving for the week. Stacey realises that Lucy knows she lied about the mugging and tries to buy her silence by giving her some earrings.

    Billy starts working for Johnny and is suspicious when he's sent to pick up a package. He is relieved to find out it was just a test when Johnny takes a pot of caviar out the packet. Danny further angers Johnny when he punches Ian, mistaking him for the mugger as he tries to return to Stacey's purse.

    Meanwhile, Sam is still waiting for Chrissies cheque to clear and goes to her for more money. She uses Zoë as a tool to get Chrissie to hand some over. Chrissie is on tenterhooks in front of the customers and reveals to Little Mo that her upcoming birthday will make her 37. Also, as Garry searches for a new flat, Minty struggles to tell Sam he wants to move out.moreless

    Sam tries scare tactics on Chrissie by spending time with Zoë after she still refuses to pay up. Sam manipulates Zoë to weaken her faith in Chrissie. She predicts that Chrissie's close to the edge and ready to crack. With false reluctance, she reveals that Chrissie sacked her. Zoë storms over to the Vic in a rage. Believing that she knows everything, Chrissie struggles to explain. She breathes a sigh of relief to discover that Sam didn't reveal the whole truth. Sam interrupts and when Zoë leaves, Chrissie writes Sam a cheque.

    Stacey enjoys the attention that the mugging brings. While Charlie picks her a present, Mickey sympathizes. She's delighted to overhear that he and Kareena are having problems. When Little Mo invites people for a meal, Stacey's jealous that Garry, Minty and Alfie are stealing her limelight. Charlie comforts her and confirms that she's part of the family. He adds that he's proud of her for being so brave.

    Billy tries to get his job back by apologizing to Howard, but it is too late – a new manager has been appointed. Billy drowns his sorrows in Scarlet until Johnny reveals that his ban from the Vic extends to the club. Later, Chrissie's enraged that Johnny's employed bouncers for the Vic without asking her. Johnny locks the doors when he discovers that Billy's still in the club. Billy expects the worst when he realises that he's trapped. Johnny lets him squirm, and then offers him a job.

    Mickey avoids Kareena's calls. He questions Juley about her strange behavior in the Vic. His suspicions are proven when Juley accidentally lets it slip that Kareena was on coke. Mickey confronts Kareena about her lies. She's furious at Juley for telling tales. After spending all day at home, Rosie sends Mickey to the shop with the cleaning money. He's confronted by the mugger in the Square. He hands over the money, but is dealt a vicious kicking before his attacker flees.moreless

    Johnny and Pat attended Andy's funeral and Pat is distraught that no one else turned up. As they toast a drink to Andy, the two talk about the past and during an argument, Johnny mentions how he use to own Pat, and she storms off angrily.

    The Miller's are still struggling to afford general items and worry when they run out of nappies for Alicia. Rosie refuses to accept stolen goods off Mo so when she is in the MinuteMart she steals a pack of nappies. When she realizes Demi saw her, she takes them back.

    Meanwhile, Kareena arranges to get more drugs off July leaving her late to meet Mickey. When she eventually arrives he notices right away that she has taken something and walks out.

    Sam is horrified when Danny tells her he slept with another woman. When he goes to see Sasha she makes it clear to him that she is with Adi. Minty agrees to take Sam out to cheer her up, letting Garry down in the process. However, Garry insists that Minty go out with him for a boys' night out. Sam is left on her own and heads over to the Vic.

    Chrissie is on edge when Jake helps her to change a barrel of beer and stands right on Den's grave. She is also rattled when Pauline asks about her doorstop, and wonders how much longer she will be able to hide her terrible secret. When Sam comes for the money, Chrissie refuses to give it her, leaving Sam shocked that her blackmail tactics didn't work.

    Whilst in the Vic, Johnny tries to calm Pat down when she gives everyone a piece of her mind. The pair end up having a heated conversation and Pat leaves in disgust. When she later asks Johnny about his personal life, he clams up.moreless

    Little Mo is concerned that Billy seems to have disappeared. She gets Minty, Garry and Alfie to help look for him. Later, when he finally answers the door, he tells Little Mo that he's lost the job and the flat. She offers to help him find a new place but Billy tells her he doesn't want her help. Billy later confesses to Alfie that he is still in love with Little Mo and the thought of her with another man would kill him.

    Johnny lets himself into the Ferreira's flat and inspects it. Unhappy with the state of it, he tells Tariq to clean it up. When Tariq asks him why, Johnny reveals he has just bought their flat.

    At the Millers, Rosie struggles to cope with their shortage of food when Darren brings Peter over for tea. Not wanting to make the family look poor, Keith helps out and together they manage to get together enough food for the meal.

    Meanwhile, Chrissie pretends to call Den in front of punters in the Vic in order to get rid of Dave, to whom Den owed money. Sam is angry when people fall for Chrissie's ruse and gives Chrissie an ultimatum – Chrissie will pay her £1000 every week or she will tell Zoë everything.

    At the Vic, Billy steps in to protect Sasha when a drinker in the Vic gives her unwanted attention. The man insults Adi and then Billy goes wild and attacks him, leading to Chrissie barring him. Sasha is angry that Adi didn't stick up for her and the two fall out. She meets Danny outside who is also angry after being rejected by Sam. As they talk in the cab office, he moves in to kiss her and they end up having sex right on Adi's desk.moreless

    The news of Stacey's mugging spreads across the Square. Mo suspects Stacey of lying but Charlie gives her his full support. When Johnny hears about it he suspects it is connected with what happened to Derek. The police interview Stacy but she is unable to give a description. Later in her room, she opens her draw, full of the money that she claims was stolen when she was mugged.

    Keith and Rosie struggle to keep up with their family's financial demands and are unable to pay for Demi's school supplies. With no food, Rosie asks Jane for leftovers form the café. When Darren refuses to eat it, she is left in tears.

    Billy's bad mood continues as he continues to give Johnny a frosty atmosphere. Tired of it all, he closes the shop early and goes to the Vic. When the video shop owner asks him about closing it early, Billy tells him he can stick the job. The owner fires Billy and as the flat comes with the job, asks him to vacate it soon.

    Meanwhile, Pat is upset that Sam isn't organizing a funeral for Andy. Johnny offers to pay the bill for it so Pat plans it herself. Also, Tariq continues moonlighting with Johnny's cars until he's caught by Shasha. To his surprise, she asks for a cut in the profits.

    Sam spends the day terrorizing Chrissie in the Vic with constant comments about Den and enjoys watching her squirm when Pat asks for Den's mobile. When Chrissie locks up, Sam torments her about Den and reduces her to bits. Chrissie heads down to the cellar and sobs by Den's grave.moreless

    Stacy tries desperately to get noticed at home but the Slater's are too busy with Zoë. Yolande tries to keep her occupied with work but she is insulted constantly by her family. Stacey volunteers to take the Minute Mart's takings to the bank but she arrives home later, hysterical, claiming she has been mugged.

    Keith goes to the job centre and, when the interviewer tries to get him jobs, he stalls and comes up with excuses for why he can't work at them. She is sympathetic towards him but this just sends him into a rage. When she asks him to fill out a form he can't complete it. She realizes he has literacy problems. Keith goes home and sobs to Rosie about his uselessness. Meanwhile, Billy tells Johnny he isn't afraid of him and Johnny is impressed by his actions.

    Sam goes to the solicitor to hear the reading of Andy's will. She is shocked to see Pat there and shocked to learn that Andy left a will. She can't believe what she's hearing when the will reads that Andy has left the bookies' to Dennis, the house to Pat and all his money to dog racing. To his wife, he has left his wedding ring, suggesting she use the money to get her hair done.

    Chrissie is in good mood when she hears Sam has nothing. Sam is now determined to get the Vic and goes behind the bar and empties the till. The girls fight in the cellar and Sam gets the upper hand, telling Chrissie she will get her pub back.moreless

    Jake chases after Danny after he again insulted Johnny. When he finds him he takes him in the car to the place where Andy was killed. Danny realizes how much trouble he could have been in if he'd been with Andy and is shocked to learn that Jake was there when it happened. He makes a promise to Jake that he will change.

    Chrissie makes Sam and offer to give her half the Vic and more later before she leaves to Spain. Sam later learns that she has no intention of moving away and decides to scare her by bringing the police to the Vic to talk about Andy's estate. Chrissie admits to Sam she was lying but Sam reminds her that the time is ticking.

    The Miller's cash situation has got to a point where Rosie has to ask for leftovers from the Vic. As she is too proud to accept money, Mickey slips some in with the washing. However it soon goes on bills and so Rosie arranges for Keith to have an interview for a job seekers allowance.

    With money coming in from cabs, Adi suggests he and Sasha look for a house. Sasha is not too sure about the idea. She later suggests to Adi that they do something spontaneous but is put down by his uneventful plans. The Ferreira's cab company gets ready to provide taxis for Johnny's club but Tariq takes off when he gets a good offer for an airport run.

    While Derek is out he is attacked by a mugger after his money. Martin fends off the mugger and takes Derek home. While Pauline fusses over him, Derek wants to forget it every happened. Pauline blames to new club and it causes a row between the two about Pauline's attitude. He later breaks down and thanks Pauline for caring about him.

    Sam is shocked when she goes to the Vic the next morning and finds it locked. As the crowd begins to gather outside the doors, bin bags comes flying from the windows – with Den's clothes in them. Chrissie then opens up the pub and announces to everyone that Den's left her and gone off with another woman. Sam and Zoë are both shocked to hear what Chrissie is saying.

    Rosie is worried that after not working her shift in the Vic they will be even shorter on cash. Rosie is so desperate that she takes some of Den's clothes off the street that Chrissie was throwing out. Keith looks for jobs everywhere with no luck and so agrees to go to a meeting to get a jobseekers allowance.

    Elsewhere, Jane's annoyed when Lucy makes an excuse to get out of school. Lucy throws a tantrum in the café and Jane tells Ian to sort her out. Jane talks to Pat and says she doesn't think she's suited to family life but Pat convinces her to get home to her family. Also, Billy causes problems in Scarlett when he refuses to leave.

    Sam is furious when Chrissie tells her she will never get the Vic. Later, Chrissie tells everyone Sam was with her when Den supposedly left her. Sam returns to the pub after closing telling Chrissie the pub is hers but Chrissie gets the upper hand, throwing her out and firing her.moreless

    Sam shows Chrissie new license plate saying the Mitchell's own the pub. Chrissie threatens she will go down with her but Sam says she and Zoë will come up with a story to hide their involvement and again reminds Chrissie to sign the Vic over to her.

    Desperate for money, Rosie asks Chrissie for an advance on her wages, despite the fact that she's only just been paid. Worried about their situation, she tells Keith that they are both going to have to find some more work and that he can't spend any more money without her permission. However, she is later horrified when she notices that the money tin is empty after Keith spent it on medicine for the dog and screams at him to get a job.

    In an attempt to prevent Sam and Zoë from getting closer, Chrissie books Zoë a one-way ticket to Spain. Chrissie persuades her to go and arranges form her to leave straight away. However, when Sam finds out, she rushes off to try to stop her running away. Sam convinces her that running away isn't the answer. Chrissie's horrified when she learns Zoë is staying. Sam asks Chrissie to tell her the truth but she won't. When Zoë has left Sam hits Chrissie and tells her to give her the Vic or she will tell Zoë everything.

    Jane plans a night in with Lucy but is upset when she invites Stacy to join them. Jane makes an effort to be friendly with Stacy but when Stacy hears some of the lads are going out, she tells Jane she has to cancel. Later when Lucy asks Stacy why she cancelled, she tries to say Jane was the one who cancelled but is put in her place when Martin reminds her what really happened. Lucy walks out, disgusted with her friend.

    Elsewhere, Johnny asks Jake to sort out Danny's attitude after he insulted him and Pauline gets increasing annoyed with Martin's attitude to spending money.moreless

    Zoë wakes up at Sam's and confides in her that she wants to go to the police and tell them everything, but Sam manages to talk her out of it. When Zoë arrives home, she panics when she sees the police talking to Little Mo, but soon realises that they are talking about Andy's death. Trying to come to terms with what's happened, Zoë quizzes Little Mo about what happened to Trevor on the day of the fire, and makes a decision. She asks Little Mo to tell Sam she's sorry, and then stares at the police officers card.

    Meanwhile, Keith offers his services to Ian to help him deliver his fliers. Rosie is delighted when he returns with some money but her happiness is short-lived when Ian arrives wanting his money back – he knows Keith gave the fliers to Darren and Peter to deliver. Rosie then gets a letter saying that they won be getting any more benefit money and they owe hundreds of pounds.

    Jane lends Lucy some of her DVD's but gets told by Ian not to try so hard to fit in. Later he apologizes to her but tries to tell her she must let him bring the kids up in his own way. At the Minute Mart, Lucy is telling Stacy of how she is starting to like Jane but Stacy again tries to turn her against her. When she hears Jane gave her a make over, Stacy gives Lucy her own style of make over. Ian is furious when she sees Lucy.

    Elsewhere, Pauline's on the warpath after Martin and Sonia left last night. Martin makes up with her but Sonia still thinks he's under her thumb. Sonia gets Martin to tell Pauline that they want to be treated like adults in their home. Adi having been miserable all day makes up with Shasha. Even though she tells Tariq everything is fine, the cracks are beginning to show.

    Zoë gets prepared to go the police station. Little Mo arrives at the Vic and gives Sam Zoë's message. Sam and Chrissie realsise that Zoë is going to tell the police and they run over to Zoë's and Chrissie forces Zoë to let them in. Chrissie tells Zoë she wont let her do anything stupid but Zoë is adamant that she is going to the police. As Chrissie blocks the exit Zoë tries to get her phone.

    Jake tries to get Danny to admit about his involvement with Andy. When he doesn't, Jake reveals that Alfie told him everything. Danny is angry at Jake for always sticking up for him and storms out. After talking with Alfie, the two make up.

    Chrissie is still trying to persuade Zoë not to go to the police and uses her family as a way to get to her. Zoë tries to run out by Chrissie throws her to the floor. Sam calmly convinces Zoë to keep quiet. At the Vic, Chrissie once again apologizes to Sam for snapping at her but Sam berates her for her actions with Zoë. In an angry rage, Sam tells Chrissie she saw her kill Den. Sam tells her the only way to keep her quiet is to give her the Vic back.moreless

    Chrissie, furious that Zoë is not back on the stall, rings her and tells her to get out there and act normal. As she leaves, Mo corners her demanding that they sort out her mood. She suggests that Zoë sees a counselor.

    Keith spends the day looking for work around the square but has no luck. Rosie is horrified when she find the money tin empty. Keith explains that he needed it for expenses but Rosie furiously yells at him that it was all the money they had left for the week.

    Sam gets the rest of her belongings from the house. She receives a letter from Andy's solicitor informing her she is entitled to what Andy has left her. She is excited at the though of getting the house back. Sam goes to the Vic and reminds Chrissie of her promise to give her half of the pub. Chrissie subtly tries to persuade her against it but Sam is adamant.

    Zoë walks in on Chrissie and Sam's conversation and Sam notices the nervous way Zoë is acting around Chrissie. She invites Zoë to the club later and Chrissie is angry when she accepts. Chrissie decides that she will join them in the club later.

    Meanwhile, the police want to talk to Danny about Andy. Although he manages to trick them, he is worried that Johnny will find out he was involved. Later at the club, Jake quizzes Alfie about his brother – and Alfie reluctantly tells him everything.

    Jane has spent her first night in Ian's house but is still unsure how Lucy feels about it. When Lucy is talking to Stacey she once again tries to turn her against Jane. Later in the house, Jane teaches Lucy about make-up and she begins to soften towards her. Also, Sonia and Martin are still living under Pauline's strict regime of saving money. Tired of having to stay in, the sneak off to the club.

    At the club, Sam manages to get Zoë talking about how good Chrissie has been to her. Zoë starts blaming herself for what happened to Den. When Sam enquires further, Zoë blurts out that Chrissie threatened to tell people it was Zoë who killed Den if it ever came out. As they see Chrissie entering, Sam promises Zoë that she will take care of her.moreless

    Chrissie is still in a state and is very snappy with the staff at the Vic. When Little Mo asks Pat to help at the bar, Chrissie takes a dislike to her asking about Den. Chrissie panics when Little Mo realizes that the mobile ringing is Den's. She explains that Den is away on a business trip but Pat is not so sure.

    Zoë finds Stacey rummaging through her clothes and panics when she realizes how close she has come to finding her stained belongings. She quick to make an excuse but Zoë's alarmed that they have left so many things uncovered – someone is going to suspect something. When she blames Chrissie for all the trouble she yells at Zoë reminding her that she saw her kill Den.

    The police continue their investigations into Andy's death. Johnny and Jake both cover for eachother when the police ask them. Johnny, pleased with Jake's commitment, offers him a job. Jake will only accept if Danny can be involved. He goes home happy to tell Danny that he has got him a job as doorman for the club.

    Sam goes back to her old house and picks up some of Andy's belongings. She decides he isn't important anymore and throws them away. Also, Adi is upset at having to cancel dinner plans when Sasha wants to go out clubbing instead.

    Meanwhile, Ian and Jane move all of her stuff into his house. Ian is pleased she is moving in but Jane is more concerned if things will be alright with Lucy. She is sure everything is doomed when she breaks a pot Lucy made when she was five but is relived to hear from Lucy that she hated that pot.

    Pauline, having endured all the noise from Martin and Sonia's room, asks Derek to have a talk to Martin about it. When he refuses she confronts Sonia, sending her off feeling embarrassed. Martin and Sonia ponder their options now that they can't go out and they can't do anything if they stay in.

    Elsewhere, Darren tells Rosie that, as the family is receiving benefits, the school will be able to pay for his school trip, but Rosie's pride gets in the way. Trying to help his dad find some work, Darren helps Keith prepare for his interview at the job centre, but Keith's not hopeful.moreless

    It's the day after the night before and Chrissie, Sam and Zoë are struggling to maintain normality. The girls hide their bloodstained clothes whilst Sam hides the murder weapon. They are thrown into panic when they see the police drive into Albert Square.

    Sam worries when the police arrive to speak to her, and assumes the worst. But they deliver the news of Andy's death. His body has been found at the bottom of a bridge. When Sam is asked about her whereabouts the previous evening, she falters and cannot make up an excuse. Zoë, having seen the cars, rushes to the Vic to find out what is going on. She is relieved when she hears that they are investigating Andy's death.

    As news of Andy's death spreads, the residents of Walford have mixed opinions on it. Whilst Patrick is over the moon, Pat questions whether she could have done anything to save him. When Danny finds out Andy was killed he worries that he could be next. He reveals to Alfie about how he was involved and that he could be dead if he had gone with Andy.

    Meanwhile, Jake is alarmed by what he witnessed the previous night and has to lie to everyone about his involvement. Johnny however is happy with the outcome and suggests that Jake works with him on more jobs.

    Chrissie, Sam and Zoë meet at the Vic to discuss what happens next. Sam is furious that Chrissie still hasn't revealed that she really killed Den but she holds her silence. Chrissie takes the girls to the cellar where she has buried Dens body. They watch as it is cemented over. A comment by Chrissie causes more arguments in the group. When Chrissie hits Sam in a rage, both she and Zoë walk out telling Chrissie she is on her own.

    Elsewhere, Sonia and Martin face the wrath of Pauline when they fail to pay their share of the mortgage. Pauline takes over and makes then record everything they spend. Also, the Ferreira's get more business from Johnny but Adi's work commitment leaves Sasha angry at him.moreless

    It's the opening night of Scarlet, Johnny's club, and he is making sure everything will be ready. Johnny meets with Andy to check everything is set up for the client meeting. When Andy makes snide comments to Alfie, he charges at him but Johnny calms him down, asking him to wait just for one day before he hits Andy.

    Chrissie, Sam and Zoë meet at the allotments and Chrissie tells them that everything is set up for later. They all go their separate ways to get ready. At the Vic, Rosie approaches Pauline and makes her peace with her. Then the Millers and most of the crowd head over to Scarlet for the opening night.

    At the bookies, Andy's meeting goes as planned and Danny takes collection of the money. As they leave for the car, Alfie comes screaming after Andy. He tells Andy exactly what he thinks of him and punches him. The pair fight and Danny springs to his cousin's defense. Andy and Eddie drive off with Johnny's money. At Scarlet, Johnny gets a cake wishing him a happy retirement from Andy, as he looks at it he smirks.

    At the Vic, Den reminisces with Dot and Pauline about the old times and shares a friendly moment with Pauline. They hear the crowd leaving Scarlet and go out to see it all. Den says goodbye to them and then locks everything up. Chrissie comes into the Vic but leaves the back door off the latch. The two talk about the future and then Chrissie lets Zoë and Sam in.

    Den realizes that Chrissie has known from the start about his affair and commends her on great acting. They each tell Den their reasons for hating him but he tries to turn them against each other. Sam almost falls for it but Chrissie and Zoë get her back on side. The girls tell Den that they want him to sign over everything to Chrissie and then leave Walford for good. Den laughs saying that he doesn't care about them or anyone – and then Sharon emerges from the shadows.

    Sharon is furious at Chrissie for telling her Den was ill. Chrissie apologies but says that is was the only way she could get her there. Sharon, having heard the whole conversation is shocked at her father's actions and runs out. Den chases after her full of apologies. Sharon wants to know where Dennis is but Den doesn't know. She tells him that after everything he's done, she wants nothing more to do with him, and then leaves in a taxi.

    On their way to the airport, Eddie leaves Andy in the car to go to the toilet. Andy is shocked when Jake gets in and he finds Johnny opening the door. Jake takes the money whilst Andy talks to Johnny. Andy can't believe that Eddie double crossed him. Johnny congratulates Andy on conning him and suggests that he is more careful about who he crosses. As they shake hands, Johnny pushes Andy backwards off the bridge and he falls to his death. Jake is horrified as he watches from the car.

    Den returns to the Vic, full of rage now that his daughter has disowned him. Blaming Chrissie for bringing Sharon there, he lunges at her. Den gets her and starts throwing her against the room. Sam stand back horrified. Zoë tries to get Den off Chrissie but he overpowers her. Zoë reaches for the closest item, a metal doorstop, and hits Den over the head with it. Den lets go of Chrissie and falls to the floor.

    The girls all panic thinking he is dead. Sam checks his pulse and screams that they've killed him. Chrissie tells Sam to lock up everything downstairs and turn off the lights. She sends Zoë upstairs to turn off the lights. Chrissie looks at Dens body, happy with the outcome. As she stands up, Den awakes and angrily pulls her leg and tries to pull her down. Believing she is in danger, Chrissie grabs the doorstop and hits him again with it, and he falls to the floor, dead.

    Sam witnesses all of this from the back but pretends to have seen nothing. When Zoë comes back downstairs she tells Chrissie she hit him because she thought he was going to kill her. Chrissie tells her that it is alright. Zoë asks what they should do next and Chrissie says they all need to get their stories straight. Sam is shocked that Chrissie doesn't tell either of them what had just happened and that she is still letting them think that Zoë killed Den.moreless

    Sam gives Zoë an ultimatum and she agrees to go and see Chrissie. Between them, Chrissie and Sam convince Zoë that it was the pressure of Den that forced her to get rid of the baby. However, when they tell Zoë of their plan, she is not interested as they only want Den's money. When Chrissie returns, she is sure Den has figured out what they are up to. He takes her to a cemetery and shows her Angie's grave. Den tells Chrissie that he wants to make a fresh start with her.

    Zoë is determined to tell all to Den in an angry rage. Sam and Chrissie manage to stop her. They eventually get her on side and she tells them both exactly how Den forced her to sleep with him. The three try to come up with something to really hurt Den. Zoë suggests hiring a hit man but Chrissie thinks up a solution that will really make Den's heart bleed.

    Andy is busy preparing to leave Walford after the job tomorrow where he will con Johnny out of his money. Before he does he takes great pleasure in watching the market stall owners discover another stall trashed. Andy threatens Alfie that Martin's stall will be the next victim if he doesn't pay up. Alfie tries to attack Andy but is stopped by Eddie. In the end, Alfie has no choice but to pay up. He is shocked when Andy tells him there's more to come.

    Pat, having witnessed the fight, confronts Andy for answers. She learns of his part in Paul's murder and is threatened by Andy. Pat reports everything to Johnny and asks to do something about Andy. Also, Andy goes to Danny with the offer for the job tomorrow. When Danny turns him down, Andy tells him they would be getting one over on Johnny, and Danny gladly accepts.

    Meanwhile, Pauline talks to Lucy and Peter about Jane moving in. Lucy reveals that the reason she has been acting badly towards Jane is because she doesn't want to get close to her and then have leave like Ian's previous partners have. In the café, Lucy apologizes to Jane and asks her to move in with them. Also, Johnny arranges to give the Ferreira's three new cars for their taxi firm in return for a profit percentage.

    It's the day of Keith's medical but it doesn't go well, and Rosie is devastated when she learns their family benefits will be taken away. Whilst in the Vic, Rosie makes some comments aimed at Pauline. When Pauline's makes references to Keith's laziness, Rosie throws her drink all over her, leading to the two women have a huge fight.moreless

    It's not a good day in Albert Square for Andy. Alfie finds his stall trashed in the market and he knows that Andy is behind it but doesn't give him the satisfaction of seeing that he's bothered. Andy is still angry at Johnny for the small amount he is being offered for the job, as well as Johnny's friendship with Jake and Alfie. Andy has got Jake set up to be the front line man meaning he will take the fall if anything goes wrong.

    For the plan to work, Danny must be kept out of it. To stop Danny from aggravating Johnny, Jake tells him that he is the one keeping him out of the loop. Danny furiously punches Jake before packing his bags to move out. Andy is shocked when Johnny tells him Jake's out of the job and he'll be going on his own.

    Meanwhile, Chrissie sees Sam and tells her about the plans she and Amanda have made. She makes Sam an offer she can't refuse – the Vic. But only if she agrees to go along with the plan. She just needs to get power of attorney from Den and get Zoë on board.

    Later, Andy tries to ridicule Sam in front of the customers at the Vic, but Den makes a stand and sticks up for her whilst humiliating Andy infront of all the customers. Andy is horrified when even Johnny is against him and is thrown out by Jake. Fed up with Johnny's treatment towards him, Andy decides to keep all the money from the job for himself and comes up with a new man to front the job on Friday – Danny.

    Elsewhere, Darren is bored and wants Keith to join him in his game of football, but neither of them notices that they're being watched. Later, the benefit agency calls around and shows the Millers the evidence against Keith, saying he will have to undergo a medical exam to prove he really is disabled. Also, Ian is excited about Jane moving in with them but she is more concerned about Lucy's reaction to it all. When they break the news Lucy upsets Jane by storming off.moreless

    A suspicious Den quizzes Chrissie about Zoë not being pregnant any more asking her every detail about how the miscarriage happened. Not satisfied with what he's being told, Den heads over to see Zoë but she slips up when she tells him a different version of events. When she is own her own she realizes that Chrissie made her do a terrible thing.

    Chrissie is shocked when she Sam smashing up all the glasses. Sam demands to know the truth about how she and Den got the Vic. Sam charges at Chrissie and the two have a huge fight. Chrissie explains Den did everything to get the Vic and tells Sam of her plan to take Den for everything, asking for her help.

    Johnny comes to Andy and Jake with a job to meet up with a client on Friday – and tells them to keep it a secret and to keep Danny out of it. Jake begs Johnny to let Danny be involved but he refuses. Later, Andy tells Eddie that the job is worth way more than Johnny is giving him for it. When Andy sees Alfie with Johnny, he makes him a threat towards his stall. When Alfie refuses to give Andy money he is told he's made a big mistake.

    Meanwhile, it's Dot and Jim's wedding anniversary and Jim has forgotten to buy her anything. She gets a surprise when he dresses up the community centre for an evening of dancing.

    Sam meets Chrissie in the square where they agree to put the past behind them. Just a Chrissie is about to tell Sam her plan to get back at Den, Zoë comes shouting at her. Chrissie tries to get Zoë away from Sam to stop her hearing anything but Zoë screams at Chrissie for manipulating her into having an abortion. Sam is shocked and they both turn on Chrissie. Unable to take anymore, Chrissie screams at Zoë that she knows it was Dens baby. She says that they should all be working together to beat Den but they don't want to hear and walk off.

    Elsewhere, Ian is excited about Valentines Day with Jane. She is on tenterhooks after Pauline suggested Ian wants to make her his fourth wife. He only wanted to ask her to move in, which she gladly accepts.moreless

    With her work done, Amanda leaves, reminding Chrissie that if she wants to take Den for everything she will have to get Zoë's baby out of the picture.

    Darren tries to prove himself to Stacey by drinking with her in the Minute Mart. However, he gets drunk and collapses, and is taken to hospital. Mickey and Keith both blame Stacey for what has happened. She later realizes that she had the whole even on camera, even the part where Keith lifted heavy boxes with his supposed bad back. She takes her revenge by reporting Keith to the benefit fraud agency.

    Meanwhile, Billy is in a foul mood over Little Mo. He struggles to talk to her and then drowns his sorrows in the Vic. He aggravates Garry and other customers, leading to Den throwing him out.

    Chrissie goes to see Zoë and frightens her into thinking that Den could get custody of the baby if she had it fostered. Zoë decides to have an abortion and Chrissie sits happily in the clinic as its happening. She returns to tell a shocked Den that Zoë had a miscarriage.

    Elsewhere, Johnny asks Andy about doing a small job for him and later manipulates Andy by sending him to the Vic to get his plumber back from Den. Later Johnny tells Jake about a job he is planning but doesn't want Danny involved. While chatting to Den, the truth begins to dawn on Andy about how Den got the Vic. Whilst arguing with Sam he suggests to her that Den blackmailed Marcus to get the Vic, leaving Sam horrified.moreless

    Den and Chrissie are due to renew their marriage vows and Chrissie is all set up ready to humiliate Den and Zoë. With Amanda's help she gets Den to sign over half of everything to her. Den warns Zoë to stay away. Chrissie goes to see her and pretends to be hurt that she is not coming. They talk and Zoë reveals that she doesn't want the baby. Back at the Vic Chrissie begins to question whether she could hurt Zoë like she is planning too. Amanda advises her to go ahead with the ceremony as it means she will get more money when she leaves Den. During the ceremony, Zoë walks in. Chrissie freezes for a moment and then continues with her vows.

    Elsewhere, Lucy continues to cause trouble and is angry about the dress Ian wants her to wear to the party. Jane takes her to buy a new one but Lucy manages to get her to blow the budget. Ian is angry about the price and, when Lucy later spills something on her new outfit, he argues with Jane, much to his daughter's amusement.

    Alfie tells Johnny that he doesn't want to stay in the flat as he doesn't want to owe him any favours. Johnny laughs and says that he wanted to rent the flat out anyway, so Alfie has saved him the cost of advertising. Later, Johnny makes Alfie a legal tenant but tells Jake that he now owes him one.moreless

    Zoë is shocked to find Den in the kitchen cuddling Freddie and is furious when she discovers that he has money to help tide her over. Not wanting his involvement with the baby, Zoë declines his money and tells him he will have nothing to do with her baby. Later, Sonia has a heart to heart with Zoë whilst she tries to decide over what to do next about her situation.

    After staying the night at Ian's, Jane aims to make herself at home. When she tries to encourage the kids to become involved in making pancakes, Lucy refuses and instead criticizes Jane, but when Ian comes home, Jane pretends everything is fine.

    Chrissie is still plotting to make Den pay as Amanda gives her papers which will entitle her to half over everything. Now all she needs to do it get Den to sign them. She goes out and starts causing problems by leaving invitations to their marriage renewal ceremony all over the square. Den is far from pleased when residents turn up telling him they will be there. Chrissie decides to move onto the next stage in her plan – to help Sam. She insists Sam take a job and the Vic and Sam agrees much to Dens annoyance.

    Meanwhile, Alfie is upset as it's the 15th anniversary of his parent's death. He receives a card from Spencer but still feels upset. When Nana tells Jake and Danny about it they rally around him trying to cheer him up. Alfie makes an announcement that he has decided to move on and leave Walford.moreless

    As Chrissie and Den plan to renew their marriage vows, Chrissie reveals all to her friend Amanda about Den and how he has ruined Sam's life too. Amanda gives Chrissie some advice about her future and helps to distract Den whilst Chrissie swipes the keys to the safe. Chrissie is horrified to find a standing order paid to Zoe every month. With the help of Amanda she plans to get her money back and then humiliate Den.

    Meanwhile, Rosie hides another letter from the Department of Work and Pensions in the drawer. Later, Demi unknowingly lets in a visitor from the job centre who is determined to prove the Millers don't need the benefits they are getting. Keith almost convinces him that he and Rosie are not a couple – until he asks to see the bedrooms!

    At the chip shop, Sam is full of new ideas for Ian's business. He is not so happy and an argument emerges, causing Sam to quit. Also Stacey almost gets fired for causing an argument with Rosie over the Millers getting benefits.

    Elsewhere, it becomes clear that Johnny Allen is well known around Albert Square. After introducing himself to Den, he announces that he is the new owner of the club. Pauline is far from happy to see him and Pat even tells him to keep away from her. Alfie packs his bags to leave the house but Johnny allows them to stay there.moreless

    Alfie is still mad at Jake and Danny for deceiving him about the house. He is left in a bind when he sees their flat has been let out to another family. Jake tells Nana just enough so that she is determined to stay in the house and then refuses to leave when Aflie tells her they will have to.

    Den tells Zoë that he's happy about the baby but she's quick to tell him that she's disgusted and that he is coming no where near her child. Chrissie is furious when she finds out that Den has offered Zoë money for the baby. Chrissie goes to Zoë's and makes it clear to her that Den will control her if she accepts money from him. She shocks Zoë by suggesting she has an abortion.

    Meanwhile, Lucy has come off school early pretending to be sick. When she sees Jane she acts all moody and asks if she can go back home. When she meets up with Stacy she tells her to keep acting like that so she can get more attention from Ian. At home Jane and Lucy are getting on fine but then she pretends to be miserable towards Jane when Ian comes back,

    Little Mo is worried about Billy and asks Garry to check on him. When Garry tells her that the flat is a mess, she asks him to get Billy out of the way for a while, so that she can sort it out. Billy catches her and asks her to leave, telling her that if they can't be a couple then they can't be anything together.

    Elsewhere Anthony leaves Walford to go back to the missionary. Stacy gets into an argument with Keith when she is forced to get stuff for him because of his supposed bad back.

    Johnny Allen arrives back in the Square. Den is surprised that he knows his name – but not as surprised as the Moons are when he reveals that they are squatting in his house. There's even more surprises when Pat walks in and notices Johnny there.moreless

    It's the day of Paul's funeral and Patrick is intent on getting justice for his son. Patrick is quick to tell Andy about his conversation with the police and it 's not long before Andy realizes it was Sam who told Patrick about Paul's history with him. He pays her a visit and tells her that Paul died because he was a grass and that the same thing could happen to her. Then when the police come she is too scared to say anything.

    Meanwhile the Moons move into their new house. Alfie is still bemused as to how Danny got the house. Just when they are settled in the power goes off and when Danny is unable to come up with a number for the letting agency, Alfie realizes they have been squatting there.

    At the church Patrick pays his last respects to Paul with Anthony and Yolande by his side. When they get back, Sam reveals to Anthony how Paul died. Patrick is over the moon when he hears this news but then refuses to listen when Sam tells him that Andy did not shoot the bullet at Paul but only tipped off the people that did.

    A worried Charlie sees Den at the Vic and tells him he is concerned about Zoë. Not wanting to speak in public, Den makes his way over to Zoë's flat but, when Chrissie spots him, she's horrified. Zoë insists that the baby is not Dens but when he threatens to tell Charlie everything she confesses that it is.

    Elsewhere, Lucy has pieced together that Ian and Jane are a couple. Stacy encourages her to take advantage of the situation. When Ian and Jane break the news to her and Peter, she walks off. She then uses the situation to get £20 off Ian.moreless

    It is Zoë's 21st birthday and whilst everyone is celebrating she's not feeling well and worries that she could really be pregnant. She buys a pregnancy test kit and her worst fears are confirmed – it's positive. When Little Mo sees the kit, Zoë explains that she thought she had lost the baby. When news spreads to Chrissie she goes to talk to Zoë and realizes that she is really pregnant with Dens baby. Den is happily thinking that Zoë is going to fake a miscarriage until Chrissie tells him that Zoë is pregnant.

    Meanwhile, Patrick and Yolande prepare for Paul's funeral. Anthony arrives back and is shocked when Patrick tells him about Paul's death and how he died. Sam feels guilty and gives Patrick some information she thought he knew. Anthony goes to see Sam and she tells him that his brother was involved in drugs.

    Elsewhere, Danny is still eager to move into the empty house despite Jake telling him not to. Tired of waiting he changes to locks to the house and tells Alfie and Nana that they are moving in.moreless

    Someone has scrawled the word "murderer" on the wall of Andy's house. He assumes that it was Patrick and questions him about it. Patrick denies it – but he does ask Andy if he killed Paul. Andy leaves the question unanswered. Later, Patrick spots Pat returning from her holiday and asks her to find out the truth from Andy.

    Billy is tidying the flat and keeps coming across things belonging to Little Mo and Freddie. Billy tells Alfie that he knows nothing happened between him and Little Mo, which makes Alfie feel guilty. Later, Little Mo and Billy both plan to go to the Vic, unaware that the other is going. When Little Mo goes to talk to him, Billy rushes out.

    At the Moons flat, Nana is still staying in her room, afraid to come out. Alfie buys a door chain but she is still uneasy whenever someone knocks at the door. Jake and Danny decide they need to live in a house and then see that number 41, Pat's old house is empty.

    Pat is making progress with Andy and almost convinces him to talk to Patrick. When he refuses he also admits that it was him that turned Paul, leading to his death. Also, Jake is furious with Danny when he discovers it was him who sprayed Andy's house.

    Elsewhere, Pauline tells Ian and Jane that they should tell the kids about their relationship and Zoë tells Den that she's not scared of him anymore.moreless

    Garry tries to convince Billy that Alfie and Little Mo are not having an affair. Billy heads off to win Little Mo back but snaps and punches Alfie when he sees the pair together. That evening, Little Mo goes to the flat and agrees to move back in. However when Billy refers to Freddie as ‘her kid' she gets upset and decides to leave. She packs her bags and tearfully says goodbye to Billy.

    Andy tells Yolande that the police have spoken to him about Paul but that they are not pursuing the case. A concerned Yolande tries to persuade Patrick to forget about Andy but he vows to make him pay.

    Elsewhere, Sam invites Danny over for dinner so that he can get to know Minty. The atmosphere is strained but when Sam pops out for wine, the pair bond over a mutual dislike of Andy. Minty tells Danny about everything Andy has done, leaving Danny all ready for a confrontation with Andy.

    Meanwhile, Chrissie questions Den about Dennis and Zoë but he feigns ignorance. She then uses a letter from Kelly to go and see Zoë, much to Den's annoyance. He tries to ring Zoë to warn her but she hangs up. When Chrissie is there she asks Zoë if there is anything she wants to say and that she won't be angry with her, however Zoë backs out and just says she is missing Dennis.moreless

    Patrick is desperate to find out what happened to Paul. Minty tells him that Andy is capable of arranging a contract killing but Alfie warns Patrick to drop it. Yolande keeps trying to contact Anthony but can't reach him. She feels alone when Patrick is too busy for her. She later upsets him when she suggests he feels he wasn't a good enough father to Paul.

    Ian spends most of the day avoiding Pauline and when she does catch them she causes them to discuss splitting up, warning them that their casual relationship is not fair on the children. But Ian tells Jane he is doing what he wants to do and tells her he loves her.

    Elsewhere, it's Demi and Darren's birthday Rosie keeps dropping hints to Keith about marriage.

    Little Mo has moved back into the Slaters' and Charlie is refusing to let Billy talk to her. Alfie advises Billy to give Little Mo space but Garry plants a seed of suspicion in his mind about his friend's true intentions. Later, Billy spots Alfie and Little Mo talking intimately.moreless

    Little Mo panics when she wakes up in an empty bed. She questions Garry and forces him to reveal where Billy has been. When he finally comes home, Little Mo warns him that he has invited Graham back into their lives. She is shocked when he reveals that he hates Freddie.

    Patrick receives some devastating news when the police tell him they have found a body that they need him to identify. He is horrified to find that it is Paul's body. Whilst Yolande is trying to contact Anthony, he goes to the pub and gets drunk. When people ask him about Paul he breaks down and tells them he is dead, shocking everyone.

    Ian wants to take Jane out that evening and Pauline agrees to babysit. However, she gets more than she bargained for when she walks in on the pair half-naked.

    The police go to Andy's and tell him Paul is dead. He still maintains that he has nothing to do with the murder. As they leave Patrick bangs on his door, demanding he comes out and face him.moreless

    Alfie, Jake and Danny are shocked to find the bruises on Nana's arms. It doesn't take them too long to realize that Andy was involved. Danny wants to teach him a lesson but Jake has a simpler approach – he calls Johnny Allen.

    Billy finally gets his visiting order to see Graham in prison and gets Garry to cover for him if Little Mo asks where he is. When he arrives in the prison he tells Graham what a good time he is having with Freddie but is shocked to hear that Graham plans to be a part of his sons life when he gets out.

    Johnny arrives at the Moons and hears all about what's happened with Andy. Johnny charms Nana with some flowers and money to make up for what was stolen. He then takes Jake and Danny to the bookies. When Andy arrives he is terrified to see Johnny there. Johnny tells them all off for the way they have been behaving and then digs further into Andy for attacking an old lady.

    Meanwhile, Chrissie is still pretending that she knows nothing about Den and Zoë. She gets a letter from Sharon saying that she has sold the club. Den is intrigued as to who the buyer is. Whilst Billy is visiting Graham, Little Mo spends the afternoon with Alfie and the two get very close. They both agree it would be a bad idea if they did anything.

    Elsewhere, Garry, Mo and Charlie worry about Zoë and wonder why Dennis has left her. Zoë is feeling really low and can't even fight back when Stacey winds her up. Stacey later spreads the news to most of Walford.

    At the bookies, Patrick bursts in yelling at Andy about Paul. Andy gets him thrown out but Johnny is left with lots of questions about Paul. As Johnny is leaving he makes a call saying the Paul Trueman needs to show up.moreless

    Dennis is shocked at the sight of Zoë in bed with Den. He tells Zoë to go and clean herself and then tells Den that he made leaving a lot easier for him. Zoë with her life in bits is disgusted when Den tells her to distract Chrissie from Dennis. He tells her he will try to sort things out with Dennis.

    At the police station, Patrick is giving information about when Paul left however the police don't seem too worried as Paul is old enough to do what he wants. After retuning home, Patrick is pleased that DS Jones and DI Riddick have come to talk to him about Paul. Patrick is unaware that they had delt with Paul before he left.

    Meanwhile, Jake is still looking for Danny and catches him pinning Andy up against a wall yelling at him about how he set up Alfie. Jake tries to defuse the fight but when Andy makes a comment about his brother he punches him to the floor.

    At the flat, Dennis is packing his bags getting ready to leave. Den tries to put the blame on him for the way he treated Zoë but Dennis is adamant he is leaving. When Zoë arrives she reveals that she was faking the pregnancy because Den told her to. However when she mentions about Sharon not being able to give him a child he slaps her and tells Den he hates him.

    Elsewhere, Billy gets a call from Graham's mum saying that he has agreed to meet with him. Billy tells Garry about seeing Graham. Garry is certain that he should tell Little Mo but Billy does not want to. Alfie finds Danny and is told about what happened with Andy. Alfie is not pleased with what Danny has done telling him that Andy will have it in for all of them now.

    The police go to Andy and ask him if he knows anything about Paul. He tells them nothing and is more interested as to who told them that he was involved with Paul. At the B&B, Patrick searches Paul's room and finds a call card from DI Riddick and realizes that they knew Paul already. They admit that they did but wont tell him why. Patrick is certain that Andy had something to do with it and begs him to tell him what happened.

    Andy is furious about what had happened with the Moons and sends one of his men, Tudor, over to the Moons flat. Nana lets him in believing he is from the gas company. He says nothing whilst in the house and she turns around to see him standing over her.

    With his bags packed, Dennis takes one final look around Walford before heading to the tube station. As he gets there Chrissie spots him. She asks him if he is going somewhere. When she asks why he is leaving a smile comes across his face.

    Tudor leaves the Moons flat and gives a nod to Andy, he has completed his job. Chrissie walks back to the pub looking numb. When she arrives Den asks her if everything is alright and she says yes. However when he goes upstairs an angry look comes over Chrissie face – she knows about Den and Zoë.moreless

    Zoë's day gets off to a bad start when Den reminds her about her doctors appointment. She realizes that he was the one he told Dennis to make her an appointment. Stacey arrives late again for work at the Minute Mart but Patrick is too busy worrying about it. It's his birthday and he has not come home or even rang Patrick.

    At the Café, Peter and Lucy are talking to Jane about the movie they went to see. Jane says they should have asks her and Lucy tells her that Ian said she would have been busy. Jane feels upset by Ian not including her. When Ian comes into work she asks him about it. He reveals he thinks they should keep their distance whiles she gets over David, and then avoids her all morning.

    Trying to stir up trouble, Den tells the Slater's about Zoë's appointment and her reluctance to go. She is then met by everyone who repeatedly tells her she should go whiles Den smirks. Meanwhile Sam is happy after sleeping with Danny the previous night but Jake is more worried about what Andy will think about it. Also, Billy is still determined to see Graham in prison, despite Garry trying to talk him out of it.

    Just when things seem to be looking up for Alfie he is paid a visit to the market inspectors about the watches he is selling. Unknown to him is that Andy called the inspectors. They confiscate Alfie's stock and suspend him from selling. Jake and Alfie are furious at Danny for giving him the watches but Danny to busy yelling at Mo for not saying they came from Andy.

    Zoë manages to get Dennis to let her go to the doctors on her own. When she knows he is out, she heads over to the Vic where Den is waiting to sleep with her again. Patrick returns home drunk after worrying about Paul all day. When he checks the post he finds out that that Paul has not touched his bank account or used his mobile phone, Patrick realises that something must be wrong and decides to report him missing. Whilst he is out Stacy helps herself to money form the till.

    Jane finally gets Ian alone and tells him she doesn't want to have a distant between them. They sort out their problem before kissing each other and agreeing to be more than friends.

    Dennis returns home after talking with Dot only to find the flat empty. He heads over to the Vic but can't find Den anywhere upstairs, until he hears a noise from the bedroom. He opens the door and finds Den and Zoë in bed together.moreless

    Furious at how Billy behaved at the christening, Little Mo refuses to let Billy have Freddie for the day. Alfie is still struggling on the stall with only Christmas leftovers to see. Jake reminds Danny that he promised he would sort Alfie out with some stock. Also, Stacy starts work at the MinuteMart under Yolande's watchful eye. Patrick is too busy planning Paul's birthday, assuming that he will be coming home.

    Its Charlie's first day back working on the cabs and it goes off to a bad start when it breaks down right outside his house. Minty and Garry offer to fix it but when Ian catches them he takes out all of his anger, causing them to walk out. Minty is even more unhappy at the Vic when he sees Danny flirting with Sam.

    Mo gets a phone call from which she gets hold of a bulk load of watches. She offers them to Danny who gives buys them for Alfie's stall. Meanwhile Garry goes to see Billy who tells him about his worries over Freddie. Garry gets him to open up about what's really eating him and he reveals he is going to face Graham.

    Meanwhile, Jake and Danny are chasing up unpaid clients on Andy's list. Danny goes to the B&B and asks if Paul is there. Patrick tells him he is not leaving Danny intrigued by his strange response. Andy justifies it saying that Paul was supposed to be crossed off the list, leaving Jake and Danny even more curious.

    Having fallen out with Billy, Little Mo has to take Freddie to work with her. When Den asks her to go to the shop. Dennis is left holding the baby. His baby skills seem to be a lot better than Den's and he begins to think about when his baby is born. Patrick comes to the Vic and asks him why he was looking for Paul and begins to get suspicious over Andy's business with him.

    Alfie's stall is finally on top with loads of the watches being sold. As any goes past he surprisingly doesn't make any comments at Alfie. However later Mo meets him and he pays her for getting the watches to Alfie. At the B&B, Patrick rings Anthony to see if he has heard from Paul. Patrick gets worried when he hears Anthony has had no contact with Paul since Christmas.

    At the Vic, Minty gets jealous when he sees Sam kissing Danny. Den promises Zoë that he will stay out of her business. Thinking that everything is ok, Zoë leaves happily. Then, Den drops a comment to Dennis about Zoë's first doctors' exam. Dennis realizes that she hasn't had one and tells her that he has made an appointment and threat he will be there with her.moreless
  • Monday 17th January
    It's a day to celebrate in Albert Square as everyone prepares for Freddie's christening. The Vic is a hive of activity, with Little Mo finding the top tier of her wedding cake and telling Billy how much she loved their wedding day. Zoë is feeling down and doesn't want to go to the christening alone. She is sad that Dennis refuses to go with her. She feels even worse when Den attempts to arrange to sleep with her again.

    At the Slater's the arguments have already begun with Billy driving everyone mad with his arrangements. Stacy, unable to stand it any more, volunteers to take Mo's wedding cake to the Vic. On her way there she bumps into Demi and Darren and drops it. Before she can save it their dog has eaten it all.

    At the Café Sam is struggling to get all the food ready for the party in the Vic. It all gets too much for her when the fire alarm starts to go off. Lucky Danny helps her out and does some more flirting. Rosie can't hide her frustrations about Keith when she realises that he has spent all of the family allowance on a new gadget for the house.

    At the MinuteMart, Yolande is getting annoyed with Patrick for not doing any work around the shop. Stacy, Demi, and Darren come in and Stacy gets Yolande to help her with her shopping whilst the others steal enough for their family shopping, as well as a wedding cake. When they are all outside, Yolande comes out and Demi and Darren run. Stacy puts on a face leading to Yolande believing she was doing it help he family. Yolande, taken in by Stacy's lies gives her the wedding cake and offers her a job there.

    At the church, Billy is trying to put on a brave face but the cracks are starting to show. He manages to get through the service. As everyone is leaving, Dennis arrives wanting to know why Zoë has been telling Den all their business, leading to another argument.

    As everyone heads back to the Vic for the celebrations, the Millers help themselves to most of the free food. Billy has a talk with Alfie, telling him he is worried that someday he'll regret taking Freddy in. When it comes to the speech, Billy embarrasses Little Mo by bringing up how Freddy was conceived. When no one is looking he slips out oft the party and walks away from it.

    Zoë asks to speak to Den and he leads her upstairs. She has decided that she will not play any more games with him and tells him to leave her alone.. He reminds her of the situation she is in and opens the bedroom door. Zoë walks in with him and closes it.moreless
  • Friday 14th January
    Zoë wakes up, disgusted with what happened the night before. She immediately showers and then goes about changing the bed sheets. Dennis tries to apologies for his recent actions but she is defensive around him. Alfie, now with his new market stall decides to celebrate wit the rest of the market stall traders. He asks Little Mo and Billy to join him. Billy is busy but tells Little Mo she should go, putting her in an uncomfortable situation again with Alfie.

    After recent events with Patrick and Yolande, Dot has decided that she is going to give up gossiping. Sam has also decided for a change instead feeling sorry for herself and bins all of the letters directed to her from the Vic, saying they are Den's problems now. Whilst talking to Jane, Ian sees Lucy out of school with Stacey. Lucy tells him she is on her way but Ian tells her she is going in the wrong direction and takes her there himself.

    Little Mo goes to find Alfie and tells him she can't make it to the celebration as Charlie cat babysit. At the bookies, the police visit Andy telling him that the money he took to the bank turned out to be fake. After Andy leaves for the police station, Jake yells at Danny for not getting rid of the money like he told him to. Ian returns from Lucy's school and tells Jane that he just found out Lucy has been skipping off for many days. When Stacy comes into the café, he tells her to stay away from Lucy.

    At the Vic, Little Mo is shocked when Billy tells her he managed to get Charlie to babysit, meaning she will have to go with Alfie later. Den goes to Zoë's flat and she instantly tells him to leave. He says he was just trying to help her get pregnant. He also tells her that if she isn't pregnant, they will have to do it again. He then hands her a pregnancy test and leaves. Dennis returns and finally softens with Zoë. Zoë is delighted when he tells her he will sleep with her but then she finds she can't sleep with him in the flat, causing him to storm off.

    The party in the Vic is in full swing. Dot finds she has trouble not gossiping about people. Dennis tells Den he wants to work to keep his mind off Zoë. Little Mo and Alfie are uncomfortable around each other until Billy arrives, saying he cancelled his other plans. Andy arrives and happily tells Jake and Danny that the police let him off with no charge. Happy at this, Danny seizes the moment and kisses Sam – right in front of Minty.

    A photographer turns up at the Vic, which has won the "Pub of the Year" title again. Den surprisingly says that Sam should be in the photo as she was owner at the time it was entered. Sam passes on this opportunity to Alfie and Little Mo as they did most of the work. Aflie and Little Mo are once again put in an uncomfortable situation when the photographer asks Alfie to put his arm around Little Mo.

    Zoë goes to the back to talk to Den. Den tells her that she is going to sleep with him again if she wants to keep Dennis. Zoë is disgusted by that idea and threatens to tell Chrissie. Den points out to her that he would then tell Dennis, ending their relationship. Den tells her that if she wants a life she better sleep with him and he'll let her know when her first ‘payment' is due.moreless

    Looking to the future, Alfie tries to make the most of his situation and puts his name down to get a stall; however the market inspector tells him he's in for a long wait.

    After the events of last night, Den and Dennis have a heart to heart about Zoë and Dennis reveals that he thinks he made a mistake not following Sharon to America. Den is quick to suggest he gives it another try with Zoë. Jake finds Dennis and tries to explain that nothing happened with him a Zoë but Dennis isn't in the mood to listen. Dot witnesses the conversation and tries to talk some sense into Dennis.

    Elsewhere, Dot and Pauline continue to speculate over the mysterious red knickers they found in Patrick's bag and tell Mo about their findings. Stacy arranges for Lucy to skip off school again and goes on a spree over the market stealing things.

    At the Café, Danny is shocked when Jake tells him he isn't going to do anything to Dennis for hitting him. Jake goes over to the chip shop and flirts with Sam some more. Zoë goes over to the Vic but Den tells her Dennis doesn't want to see her. He quietly tells he that he will sort things out.

    In the MinuteMart, Stacy is using Lucy as a decoy to steal some make up. When she tries to leave Yolande catches Stacy with the make up. She calls Mo in and Mo yells at Stacy for trying to steal. However, when Patrick question Mo's discipline of Stacy, she reveals to Yolande about Patrick's secret woman and about the red knickers. Stacy, having planted the knickers says that she heard about them too, leaving Yolande shocked.

    With a long wait to get a market stall, Alfie starts looking for more jobs with other market traders. Little Mo suggests that he opens Ted's stall while he is away. Alfie does so and makes a great days profit. As he is showing his takings to Little Mo, Ted returns to find Alfie running his stall. The two go to the Vic where Ted decides to hand over the stall to Alfie, leaving him very pleased.

    Yolande goes to the launderette and yells at Pauline and Dot for spreading rumors about Patrick. They are convinced he is cheating on Yolande until she reveals that she knows where Patrick was all of the previous day – with Jim buying flowers for Dot!

    Den, trying to sort things out with Dennis and Zoë tells him that Zoë only kissed Jake to get his attention. However, when Danny makes snide remarks about it, Dennis attacks him. Den goes over to see Zoë and tells her that he wasn't able to get anywhere with Dennis. Zoë considers telling Dennis the truth but can't bring herself to. Den reminds her that the only chance she will keep him is if she was really pregnant. With no other choice, Zoë accepts Den's offer to sleep with him and she starts to undress.moreless

    In the Queen Vic, Jake and Danny notice some animosity between Andy and Alfie, and wonder what has happened between them in the past. Den is continuing to persuade Zoë to sleep with him, leading her avoiding him. Den also has to deal with Chrissie constantly reminding him about having a baby and renewing their marriage vows.

    Jake asks Danny if he has gotten rid of all the fake money they had and he says that he has. However later Nana almost catches him fishing out a lump of cash from behind the sofa. Trying her best to get out of the mess she's in, Zoë flirts with Jake all morning. When Danny sees Sam in the Café, he flirts wit her too, despite her telling him to leave her alone. When he sees her later, she starts to soften towards him. Also, Dot and Pauline are still speculating about the red knickers found in Patrick's bag and Dot starts checking for sizes on every woman she sees.

    Meanwhile, Jane catches Lucy out of school with Stacy. Despite Lucy saying she has a free period, Jane doesn't believe her and talks to her, causing Lucy to storm off. The girls go the chip shop where Lucy tries to trick Sam into giving her money from the till, however Sam catches on to their plan. At the pub, Danny gives Jim and Patrick the money and convinces them to place bets with it. As Andy goes through the cash register, he happily looks through all of the days takings, not noticing the fake notes.

    Elsewhere, Billy is in high spirits and plans a trip to the swimming pool with Little Mo and Freddie. His mood drops when he accidentally finds the letter that Little Mo has been hiding. He immediately cancels his plans and goes to the pub. Alfie finds him drunk and takes him home to Mo. Disgusted at her husband's suggestion to rip up the letter; she gives it to Billy and tells him to rip it up, which he gladly does. Whilst he is in the bedroom, Mo fishes the letter out of the bin.

    Zoë goes to the Café hoping to catch Jake and comes on to him. He tells her that there is no way her would sleep with a pregnant woman and leaves. Zoë follows him into the Square and kisses him, just as Den, Chrissie and Dennis walk out. Dennis punches Jake and then hurls abuse at Zoë for kissing him before walking away from all of them. Den looks on Zoë with disgust.moreless

    Zoë, still shocked by Den's proposition, tells Den there is no way she will sleep with him. Zoë suggests to Dennis that they move away from Walford. Shocked at the prospect of loosing even more of his family, Den has a talk with Dennis to get him to stay. In the end Dennis ends up with the assistant manager job at the Vic, not making Zoë happy at all.

    Meanwhile, Alfie is in high sprits knowing that Spencer is safe. Jane is worried about Peter after Lucy once again leaves him to go off with Stacy. Same is doing well at the chip shop until Andy comes to mock her.

    At the Vic, Chrissie is still pressuring Den about having a baby. He tells her they can think about it when they are more settled there. Jake is angry to find that Danny had kept some of the fake money they had. He is even angrier to see Danny chatting up Sam at the bar.

    Elsewhere, Billy and Little Mo are happily arranging the christening for Freddie until Little Mo receives a letter from Graham's mother, asking about Freddie. She shows the letter to Alfie but not to Billy. When they meet with the Reverend to discuss the christening, Mo tells him all about how Freddie was born, which he praises them both on bringing Freddie up.

    At the launderette, Stacy sneaks in and places a pair of sexy women's underwear into Patrick's washing bag. Pauline and Dot find it and are shocked when Yolande says they are not hers. Also, Andy returns to the chip shop to taunt Sam, but she gets her own back by throwing a bag of chips over him!

    While out shopping, Zoë confides in Chrissie that her relationship with Dennis is not quite as it should be. Trying to get things back to normal, Zoë dresses in her sexy new clothes but she doesn't receive the reaction she wants from Dennis. Still upset, she comes onto Jake in front of Dennis. He leads her upstairs and yells at her. After Dennis had gone, Den comes in and asks Zoë one more time about sleeping with him.moreless

    After finding Den awake early in the morning, Chrissie talks to him about everything that's happened but her concern is soon tested when Den tells her that she doesn't have any idea how he feels.

    Kate tells the square that she is leaving to joining the police again. They are all shocked to hear that she is leaving the same day. At the nail bar, Chrissie finds a letter sent to her from Vicki. It says that she and Sharon are staying with Michelle and not to call them. Chrissie shows this to Den which upsets him further. When Dennis asks him about selling the club to Andy he quickly refuses, telling him to just shut the whole place down.

    Meanwhile, Andy continues to give Jake and Danny demeaning jobs to do. Spencer accidentally fuels Jake and Danny's suspicions about Alfie when he lets slip that Andy and Alfie have a lot of history. Worried about everything that's going on, Alfie puts Spencer on a train to their cousin Maxwell's, knowing Spencer will be safe there.

    It's the day of David's funeral and Jane asks Ian not to go with her. He is upset but later on she asks him to go with her to the nursing home to pick up the rest of David's belongings. With everything packed up, she leaves the room once occupied by her husband.

    At the club, Dennis makes the arrangements to close the club for good. At the nail bar, Kate has got her suitcase ready and she takes a look around her empty shop. Dennis and Kate both turn out the lights of their one time jobs and head out into the street. Dennis spots Kate leaving and goes to wish her good luck. They think back to old times of when they were together and then she leaves Walford for good.

    Still outraged by Den's remarks, Chrissie tells him exactly what she wants – a baby. He avoids the comment by saying the pub is busy and needs him. At their flat, Zoë has another attempt to seduce Dennis. When he once again avoids sleeping with her she runs out. Zoë tells Den that there is no way she will get pregnant with Dennis and she might as well tell him the truth. Den tells Zoë that if Dennis can't make her pregnant, he will have to do it, leaving her shocked as her goes back inside.moreless

    Preparing for fatherhood, Dennis shows a prospective buyer around the club and, realising that he could soon be out of a job, he turns to Andy. He makes a deal with Andy so that h would still be managing the club. However, the news that Dennis could soon be working for Andy infuriates Zoë. She heads to the Vic to confront Andy, but his insinuations leave her worried about what he knows.

    Meanwhile, Billy wants to invite Alfie in on the talks about the christening. Mo is nervous around him but eventually the ice melts. Sam has raised enough money to buy Chrissie's share of the nail bar and feels ready to get started on a new business. Also Martin and Sonia return from their honeymoon only to fall out with Jake and Danny about the break in at their house.

    Elsewhere, Kate has a big decision to make when she finds out she passed her police interview. When DI Price tells her that the job will be in Brighton she is apprehensive about it. Eventually she decides to leave. Sam is fuming as this means she can't buy into the nail bar. With no other choice, Sam is forced to take Ian up on his offer to work in the chip shop.moreless

    Andy is still furious at the fact that Jake and Danny stole his car and wants then sorted out. When it becomes obvious that they are not frightened by Andy's threats, he asks Eddie to do some digging and it's not long before he finds out what they've been up to Johnny Allen, a major player that even Andy looks up to.

    Terrified by what Andy knows, the boys decide to leave Walford – until Johnny turns up. He wants to know where the bag is and is annoyed to find out that it contains drugs. He collars Danny for messing up another job. He tells Jake that with the clients after them, it is safer if they stay in Walford with Alfie. Johnny then arranges a job for them with Andy, something that they are both unhappy with.

    Elsewhere, Stacey leads Lucy down the life of crime as the two of them steal drinks from the MinuteMart. Sam goes to collect the cab office rent money from Adi and decides to look to the future and invest in a business.

    Meanwhile, Zoë tells Den that Dennis still isn't sleeping with her. Den says that if she doesn't get pregnant soon then Dennis will figure out she has been lying. Also, Kate goes for her interview at the police station after being told they are interested in having her back. However, she returns from the interview feeling she has done terrible.moreless

    Jake and Danny continue to get themselves into trouble and after picking up Spencer from the police station, try their best to convince him that they have got rid of the bag and claim to never have known what was inside.

    Later, when Alfie catches up with them, the boys try to persuade him to return to a life of crime. Alfie is angry with them but is preoccupied trying to find work on one of the market stalls.

    Elsewhere, Ian feels the wrath of Jane when she accuses him of blabbing to Alfie about her husband, David. Jane storms off but after talking to Lucy returns to Ian and they appologise to each other. Also, Patrick and Yolande start their first day as owners of the MinuteMart.

    Meanwhile, Jake and Danny learn that Den was going to give Alfie money for kicking him out. They go to Den and convince him to give them the money to give to Alfie - which they don't. They go home with the money and get the bag they were hiding and store it in a place that Alfie and Spencer can't find it.

    Out on the market, Alfie is surprised when fish stall owner Carl asks him to run the stall when he had previously said no to Alfie. Jake and Danny look on, knowing that the money they had gave to Carl had worked. As they leave, Andy arrives shouting at them for stealing his car. They stand up to Andy saying they are not afraid of him, leaving Andy fuming.moreless
