Ed, Edd, n' Eddy's Boo Haw Haw: The title of this episode could be an allusion to one of two things. It could be a reference to maniacal laughter, and it could also be a reference to the word, "brouhaha" which means a fight over a minor or ridiculous cause, referencing to Ed's assaults on the neighborhood kids.
Ed: "It's Frankenplank!"
This is an obvious reference to the 1930 Horror film, Frankenstein.
Ed: "Your mother wears army boots!"
The quote "Your mother wears army boots!", which was said by Ed, is a quote from the 2000 Fox movie Bedazzled.
Vision Glitches: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Those glitches that keep appearing whenever Ed's imagination runs wild, is kind of a reference to "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" since there are camera glitches that happen frequently at the beginning and ending of the movie.
Ed: "Something wicked this way comes!"
This is an obvious reference to Shakespeare's MacBeth, where the line is spoken by one of the witches.
