Nazz (Season 3): May Kanker (Season 3)
Sarah: Lee Kanker
When the Kankers were snooping through May's Locker, They found one of Edd's socks. But how could that have been Edd's sock when his are red, But the sock May had in her locker was gray?
Reply: The sock that May had might've been an old sock of Edd's that he maybe puts in his lockers.
That banner in the gym saying 1972 on it could have been the last time they won a game not that the show takes place in that decade.
This is the first time Edd made may feel better about something and the first time he would ever have a crush on her.
At the end of this special, Edd finds May's love note to him and hides it in his hat as to keep it. This says that Edd might really like May.
In this episode, the Eds are in high school, but for the rest of the series, they're in middle school (junior high).
In this episode, the Eds go to the High School, but in Mission Ed-Possible, they are in Jr. High.
When Eddy was laughing after May put he Valentine in Double-D's locker Eddy-s mouth goes over his belly
It's an EXTREME COINCIDENCE that the main characters are all in the same classes, and that there are no other kids in ANY of their classes. When the bell rings, you never see any one in the halls. Also, the lunch room is surprisingly empty. There have to be other kids, considering there are so many lockers.
There probably are more students in the school, but this is one of those shows where the viewers see and hear a limited numbers of characters.
It seems like only the main characters go to Peach Creek HS. Shouldn't there have been more students?
If the Eds, and technically every other kid in the culdesac, are twelve, what would they be doing in high school?
How did Jimmy & Sarah become angels, even if they needed angels?! Jimmy's a sissy, but far from an angel.... Sarah is far from an angel..
When the Eds are in the science lab, the background music is off-key.
Eddy: (to Plank) Where have I been all these years?
Eddy: Besides, I've been thinking about my reputation there, Cassinova.
Ed: Yeah! DOUBLE-D AND MAY SITTIN' IN A TREE!!!
Eddy and Ed: K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!!!
Double-D: Oh what a tangled web Valentines Day does weave.
Ed: Pig belly!
Eddy: Oh, good one, Ed! You wrecked my shirt!
Marie: Oh look Lee, Wiener eyes!
(Eddy throws May's valentine to Double-D in the trash and Double-D goes to dig it out)
Eddy: First he's a teacher's pet, now he's kissing up to the janitor!
Rolf: The harsh realities of your miserable lives have been restored! Thank you.
Eddy: (going through Edd's dating books) "Opposite Attraction and You"? "Relishing the Repugnant"?
Ed: Yum, relish!
Double-D: I can't believe this. Me, a detention, to mar an otherwise perfect school record! What will Mother and Father think?
Eddy: Quit your blubberin'! Me and Ed get at least two a week.
Ed: That's why I exfoliate.
Rolf: Be gone! Underlings of Valhalla!
Marie: WHERES OUR MAY?!
EDDY: WHERES OUR DOUBLE-D?!
Ed: Girls dig toe nails, Eddy.
Ed: Love is like an onion, Double-D. The more you peel away its layers, the more it stinks!
Marie: Let me see that!
Johnny: No, I can't! It's against squirrel policy!
Johnny: (passing a note from May to Edd) I'm a squirrel, and this nut's for you!
Ed: The fish have chips, friend.
Eddy: Girls don't bite, stupid! They just slowly nag you to death!
Ed: Yucky Mushy Girls!!!
Rolf: Beware! Lest you be next!
Ed: Look at me! I'm as helpless as a kitten in a tree!
Eddy: That a boy, Ed!!
Rolf: You tickle Rolf's radish.
In the scene where Lee & Marie force open May's locker & find the heart-shaped box with Edd's sock in it, they call an 'unmentionable'. Since when a sock an 'unmentionable'?
Running gag(s): 1. Double-D and May falling in love. 2. Rolf getting angry every time he senses cupids. 3. A rise in tensions between the two remaining Eds and Kankers. 4.Rolf freeing everyone from the cupid's powers. 5. Double-D and May calling each other "Lambchop" (Double-D) and "Turtledove" (May)
Apparently, Ed and Eddy get at least two detentions a week.
This is the first Ed, Edd n' Eddy episode of 2005.
Kevin coaches the boys at school in gym.
Double-D and May almost kissed in this episode.
It wouldn't appear that Rolf believes in love in this episode.
This holiday special revolves around Double-D.
Nazz is also a teacher at school; she coaches the girls in gym.
Double-D's and May's pet names they give each other are "Lamb Chop" and "Turtle Dove".
When Kevin Comes and gives Double-D a detention, look at the rubbish on the floor from Ed's Locker, The Reverse Psychology book from "A twist of Ed"
After May and Double-D "fall in love" and the other sisters go through May's locker, you can see a photo of Double-D's face put over a picture of Ed and also a picture of Double-D's butt.
Ed has different designs on his paper bag. The designs are: A weird face, a cyclops,a person picking his nose,a person fishing, and a duck.
This episode marks the third time we see Lee's eyes. When the Eds and Kankers were fighting, Eddy bites Lee's leg and she exposes her eyes.
Despite claims that the episode took place in 1972 because of a banner in the gym, there's also the "Love: Exciting and New!" poster which references The Love Boat. That show didn't come out until the *late* 70's and since a banner is considered evidence enough to "prove" when the series takes place, then why shouldn't a poster? The point is, there still isn't a definite time frame.
This is not the only episode to take place in the school, there are others, such as Mission Ed Possible.
While in love, May and Double-D gave each other nicknames. Turtle Dove(May). Lamb Chop(Double-D).
Kevin does extra work in the school (like a gym teacher and hall monter) for extra credit.
Double-D falls in love with May, Kevin falls in love with lee, Nazz falls in love with Jonny, Ed falls in love with a sandwich, and Eddy falls in love with Plank! Rolf is the one that saves the day.
Edd still loves May on the inside even after Sarah and Jimmy's powers are broken!!!! It is proven after he sees his hidden valentine, smiles, and puts it back in his hat.
Notice the list of artists' names on the chalkboard during art class: the list includes Avery (a reference to famous animator Fred "Tex" Avery) and Antonucci (referring, of course, to Danny Antonucci, creator of "Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy").
When the kids are in science class Maria and Lee Kanker are looking at an Anatomy book and laughing do they are probably looking at buff naked guys.
This is the FIRST EVER(though hopefully not last) episode that we see the Eds in school. We also find out they're in high school.
It's clear that this special was made in a rush seeing from the bad lipsinking.
The Eds attend Peach Creek High School.
The Eds are only High School students for this episode.
The inside of everybodys locker shows the persons personality, and is similar to their own room, for example Ed's locker is full of garbage, Double-D's locker is neat and organized, and Eddy's locker is egoistic and has tacky decorations. Other examples are the Kanker sisters' lockers, which are dark, dirty, and have things like tires and car axels.
Ed and Eddy say quotes that the Eds have said throughout the series. Eddy yells out "Ed Germs!" and Double-D yelled that out when Ed breathed into him. There are also other quotes too like "Every man for himself!" and "Pig belly!"
Nazz gives Kevin a Valentine's Day card, showing that she likes him and they exchange comments (ex- rightous, awesome). Another element that reinforces this notion is that Rolf mentions what happened to Double-D and May Kanker (they fell in love), and says "Lest you be next," which shows that he notices that they are hitting on each other, therefore, falling in love.
The AD for this show can be found at www.los3eds.com under latest news and then under 'Share the Love! See the Ad!'
Second episode that doesn't take place in the summer; the first was the Christmas special.
This special takes place in their school.
How the Eds get detention in order and why ...
1. Eddy for making a "Kiss the Hunk" stall.
2. Edd for "standing up" for Eddy
3. Ed for swinging around the gym.
In the commercial, Nazz is giving a card to Kevin. More than a hint of her liking him back.
If the commercial serves right, Double-D will fall in love with May Kanker.
In the commercial Rolf seems to hate Valentine's Day and hate love in general, apparently. He even opens the cafeteria doors like a garage door in rage at one point!
The Eds school mascot is the Peach Creek Cobbler.
Here were the pairings when the kids were hit by Cupid's arrow:
Double-D & May Kanker
Kevin & Lee Kanker
Jonny & Nazz
Ed & a sandwich
Eddy & Plank
No Adults: Charlie Brown: No Adults
There are no adults in this episode (along with all others), but this may for this episode refer to Charlie Brown, a famous cartoon/comic strip character, where no adults appear, even though adults are referred to and never seen.
Chalkboard: Rembrandt, Picasso, Roth, Raphael, Avery, Antonucci
Rembrandt, Picasso, Roth and Raphael are (or were) all famous artists. Avery probably refers to Tex Avery, classic cartoonist and (I believe) one of the inspirations for Antonucci and the gang. And, of course, we all know who that last name is.
Ed: Ed: Me and you and a dog named Boo
This is the title of a song, "Me And You And A Dog Named Boo"
Poster: Love, Exciting and New!
A reference to the theme song from the show "The Love Boat".
Ed: Bag on Ed's Head
Well Ed didn't say it but when Eddy and Ed were rummaging trough may's locker Ed put a bag over his head with a man fishing hence the term "Gone Fishing" meaning that he was unreachable.
