Edd should have really noticed that someone else has written the sticky notes, his mom and dad wouldn't have told him to do all that.
Ed was able to duplicate the handwriting of Double-D's parents perfectly, yet in "Fa, la, la, la, Ed", his handwriting was, as Double-D called it, atrocious.
When Eddy picks up the sticky note on the phone, it clearly reads, "Please wash the phone". However, when Eddy reads it, he says, "Stop breathing because the sink is clogged". Reply: Eddy was just being sarcastic.
Ed and Eddy write on the sticky notes with a normal pencil, but when they hold up the notes, the writing is always in red.
Near the start of the episode, while Edd is repairing curtains in the kitchen, the phone in the kitchen has a sticky note on it. Several shots later, the phone can be seen in the kitchen, but the sticky note on it is missing. The sticky note then reappears on the phone when Eddy goes to read it.
(While seeing Edd being taken by the Kankers.) Eddy: ...and I thought today was going to be a write-off. Get it: Write Off!
Rolf: Rolf, respects your vow to uphold the sticky notes of Elders, yet you must be punished.
Rolf: Wilfred? Have you eaten Rolf's hose again?
Double D: [ about the giant hammer on Rolf's head]What is that, Rolf? Rolf: The Hammer of Discipline, do you live in a cave?! [ flattens Double D flat with the hammer ] All is forgiven. Double D: Thank you Rolf.
Ed: Don't let me have to use this! (Holds up measuing cup) Lee: What are you gonna do? Bake us a cake? (Ed slams her head into the measuing cup with May and Marie)
Lee: Jump higher May! Marie: She's too fat! May: How about a fat lip?!
Ed: (Hanging by his finger from where Eddy's disco ball used to be) Whoops. It wasn't me! Sorry. Eddy: (growling and glaring at Double-D) GET OUTTA MY ROOM!!! YOU'RE A PEST!!!!
Double-D: Thank you, Eddy, thank you, you won't even know I was there. (Hugs Eddy with his face touching his) Eddy: Uh, are faces are touching, Double-D.
Double-D: Hello... oh... uh... I was going to-! Marie: Ask me on a date? May: Sweep me off my feet? Lee: Stand in line, girls! Double-D: Oh... yes... uh... could I trouble you for a cup of sugar? Marie: He wants to share condiments! May: We're so alike. Marie: (Hits May) Back off, bowser! Lee: Marie! Grab him before he runs away.
Double-D: (Hugged by all 3 girls) Ladies please... May: We're ladies! Lee: He said please! Marie: Lets kiss him! Double-D: Kiss? No! Not that!
Eddy: It was all Ed's fault and Kevin, as usual. Double-D: Kevin? Eddy: Yeah, that square headed jerk! Double-D: But Kevin wasn't in this show, Eddy.
Lee: Well if it ain't tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum!
Double-D: (Reading a note forged by Ed) Dear Edward, Please insert broom lint into your bellybutton. Love Mom. (Looks at broom lint) Oh, my. I hope it's clean.
Ed: Move in with me! Move in with me! Eddy: Yeah, Lumpy could sure use some company. Ed: We can be like brothers and share the same bathroom!
Double-D: Listen? Could it be...? IT'S THE STICKY NOTES OF THE APOCALYPSE!!!
Ed: (Seeing Double-D try and sneak away from the Kankers while hidden in his hat) Oh no! They tore off Double-Dee's head!
Ed: (Unimpressed by Eddy's poor copying skills) That is so lame, Eddy! Eddy: And you're like a human photocopier right, Mr. Perfecto? Ed: (Shows Eddy his perfect replica of the note, which is stuck to his nose) Dare to compare! Eddy: Will you ever cease to amaze me, Ed? Ed: Yes, I will!
After Wilfred, Ed wears Edd's Father's suit for the rest of the episode.
Apparently, Edd's impression of the apocalypse is an embarrassing sticky note.
We learn that in Rolf's country that if people break the rules that they get punished with the "Hat of Discipline" which is a giant hammer.
Fake chores that Ed and Eddy had Edd do: Put lint in his belly button Dress Wilfred in a tuxedo Ask the Kankers for a cup of sugar
Fourth Wall Break: Eddy blames Kevin yet Edd claims "Kevin wasn't even in this show".
Ed stands up to the Kankers for the second time, the first time being in "Dawn of the Eds".
Jonny, Nazz, Jimmy, Sarah, and Kevin are absent in this episode.
Kevin is not in this episode but is mentioned.
This is the second episode where Double-D is caught up in a bunch of chores. The first time was in "Keeping Up With The Eds".
Momma's little ed: an allusion of the phrase "Momma's little boy"
