The Eds go off to the lane one morning to find Kevin showing off in front of the other kids on his stunt bike, easily breaking every record in the book. Eddy's unimpressed, and decides to show off his own skills. So all day, the Eds try to find a world record that they can beat Kevin at.
morelessIn this episode, the Eds are seen using their bike to try to break a world record, but their bike was destroyed in the first season episode Dawn of the Eds. Reply: Double-D probably fixed it.
Edd: (After Ed pops out from under his bed to reveal the junk and seagulls under it) ED! HOW CAN YOU LIVE THIS WAY?
Ed (While running in front of the screen of countries as a Mexican) I'm homesick.
Eddy: Then how do you explain this baguette? I picked it up at a fuel stop in France! And I got this Chinese food in China land!
Kevin: Touch me with that broom and I'll tear off your eyebrow.
Rolf: Now spin them around like a sick goat! Nazz: You sure are Olde Worlde, Rolf!
Eddy: What? Now you're some kind of psychic yardstick?
Ed: (Gazing in awe at the 'rocket car') That's so cool, Double-D! Double-D: Thank you, Ed. Ed: Can we visit the planet of Bacon Men and have the marrow sucked from our bones? Double-D: (Stares for a second) It's just a prop, Ed. Ed: It's too small . Double-D: Small? Please, Ed. It's compact.
Kevin: (In the rocket car) Where's the other dweebs? Eddy: You want to be cramped up with Ed's pits?
Eddy: (After crashing the 'rocket car') What country are we in? Double-D: We're home, Eddy... and we've broken EVERYTHING, but a record... Ed: Can I wear a dress again?
Eddy: (The three Eds are perched atop a bicycle, which is at the top of a confoluted "stunt ramp" filled with obstacles) Is everyone watching? Double-D: Well, duh, Eddy. This contraption only takes up half of the cul-de-sac.
Ed: If only we had a sack of potatoes! Double-D: Potatoes wouldn't aid us in any way, Ed.
Edd (to Ed, as he realizes the two of them are being roped into another of Eddy's schemes): There he goes, involving you and I in his use of plural pronouns. Ed (jumping off the fence and flapping his arms): This one's for you, Nestor!
Ed named his birds Petunia, Ed-man and Mister.
It is revealed that Ed keeps seagulls under his bed.
Second appearance of the Ed's bike.
Ready, Set...Ed!: Phrase
The episode title is obviously a reference to the phrase of what is normally said at the beginning of a race, "Ready, Set...Go!".
