After being bored with calmness and quietness of Suburban living, with as many cardboard boxes as possible and some tape, the Eds create their own metropolis city. Now, everyone has a chance to get a taste of life in the big city. Jonny, however doesn't trust city life, and even Plank ditches him.

When Jonny and Plank were playing chess, the chess board was not 8 by 8 squares like all chess board are. Also, when Jonny said "check mate", it wasn't actually check mate.

Ed and Eddy appear to have been running the Tattoo Parlor while Edd appeared to be running a shoe-shining business. If that's the case, where and how did Nazz buy all of the items she was holding when she walked past Edd if none of the Eds were there to sell them?
The lane is abnormally wide enough for the Eds to build a cardboard city.
So, where exactly did the Eds come up with all those cardboard boxes? Reply: The junkyard, where else!

When Double D is talking about city libraries, he has 2 teeth on each side of his missing tooth, and when Ed pushes him, he comes back at the exact same direction, he has 2 teeth on the left side of his missing tooth, and 3 on the right.
At the end in the wagon with Jonny, Plank is facing forward, but then he is facing backward.

Jonny: Plank! Oh, Plank! Where are you, buddy. Eddy: Hey, Jonny boy. What's the matter? Looking for something? Jonny: Plank ran off, Eddy. He's all alone in this cardboard jungle. Have you seen him? Eddy: Hm, Plank, Plank, Plank. About this tall, smiles a lot? Jonny: You saw him? Eddy: I can't seem to remember. (pulls a jar and puts it behind his back showing Jonny) How's about refreshing my memory, huh? Jonny: DID YOU SEE HIM OR NOT?! Eddy: Nope, haven't seen him. Beats me. Jonny: Plank! Oh, Plank! Eddy: How's a guy supposed to make a living?
Rolf: (About the traffic signal) What barbarian would hang the milkbox from a string? Sarah: Geez, Rolf, that's a traffic signal.
Eddy: Well I say if we can't go to the city, let's bring the city to the cul-de-sac! Double-D: I suppose I should find some tape. Ed: Not to mention a duck!
Eddy: Did you see that? That bald kid took my money! Sarah: Tell someone who cares.
Eddy: Look at him hanging laundry. Boring. And Kevin is fixing his bike. Snoresville! Nazz is lounging and the twerps are playing blocks. Did I mention Nazz lounging? Ed: What a gaggle of sad sacks.
Jonny: Boy Plank, ever feel like you might as well be talking to a piece of wood?
Rolf: What is this that fouls the calm of the cul-de-sac? Kevin: Hey Rolf! Your dad shearing sheep again? Keep it down! Rolf: This sound is a mystery to Rolf, as is your mockery of my father's leisure delights.
Rolf: Aah, a merciless beating with a stick has cleansed Nanna's pantaloons fresh.
Jonny: Your city's corrupted the mind of my pal, Plank! Surrender, urban fiend!
Ed: I helped too Jonny! I was the balloon guy!
Eddy: Coo coo! Ed: Oink! Oink! Eddy: Pigeons don't go oink, Ed. Ed: I'm a gazelle! Oink! (Eddy drops several drops of yogurt) Edd: Nazz, wait! (pushes Nazz out of the way) Nazz: Hey, you! Edd: Oh, my. Nazz: What are you think you're- Edd: Look out! (both of them are dodging the yogurt dropping by Eddy) Eddy: Coo coo! Ed: (Drops an anvil) Quack Quack! Eddy: Ed! You're gonna hurt somebody! This ain't a cartoon!
Rolf: Good Day, Mrs. Lady. Hello Mr. Fancy Pants. Greetings, City Stranger. Kevin: They're cardboard Rolf. Get a grip.
Ed: Can I cater a party?!
Ed: Beep beep! I'm a truck! Ten-four! Bearing on your crumpet... thing...
Ed: Let's drive to the city, fellas! Edd: We're too young to drive, Ed. Ed: My dad has a shovel!
Eddy: What is this, a funeral? Lets go grandma!
Kevin: Hoorah! The dorks did something cool for once!
Jonny: Ah, take a deep breath, Plank. You can smell peace, love and tranquility.(silence) I missed you, too, buddy. But if you do that again, I'll glue you to a rock. It's a joke, Plank! (laughs)
Kevin: Oh, yeah? Well, what's two plus two? Eddy: Hey, hey, hey! Any of that crystal ball stuff'll cost ya extra!
Eddy: Ed! You're gonna hurt someone! This ain't a cartoon!
Jimmy (watching as Sarah tries to pound the daylights out of Rolf for cutting in line): Sarah's in trouble, and needs the help of the boy with the snake on his face! (hisses, and joins in the fray)
Ed: (after knocking over the city) Dominoes! Let's do it again! Here hold this... (gives Eddy the worm he found) Eddy: Ed! I don't want it! Double-D get a net! It's crawling!

The anvil Ed attempts to drop says "AKA" on the side, in which the creators of this cartoon is AKA Cartoons
Ed: Dropping Anvil Ed dropping the anvil on Nazz is a reference to the popular Looney Toons clips, where various characters tried to stop other characters with traps as such.
Ed: "Go Jonny, go!"
That line is a refrence to the old rock-n'-roll song "Johhny B. Goode", were the "go johnny go" is part of the lyrics.
Jonny: King Kong
When Jonny was climbing the building, it was much like King Kong does in the early movies.
