Ego Hugo was a 1973 televison drama movie written by John Hale and produced by Michael Croucher. Starring Victor Hugo (Anthony Bate, Brian Cox, and Simon Taylor), Adele Hugo (Stephanie Beachman), and Juliette Drouet (Juliet Harmer), Ego Hugo was set and released in England. Victor Hugo, for whom the show was based, passed away on March 9, 2002. Hugo was a poet, dramatist, and a parliamentarian. He developed the motto "Ego Hugo" which provided the basis for the teleivision movie title.
