What are your thoughts on John Brown?

    This guy John Brown has got to be the worst "serious" freestyle rapper I've ever seen in my life. Every time I think that he's got something he proves me wrong again. His first problem is the whole "King of the Burbs" thing and then he starts talking about the "ghetto revival". Those two things sound like they should never be put together in any serious situation. When he met Grandmaster Flash and he did that in front of him, you can see the look on his face like "What the hell is he talking about?"

    He gets on my nerves.  I was hoping he would leave the first episode, but unfortunatelly, Mr. "I-Can't-Work-Under-These-Conditions" had to screw it all up.

    This exactly what I said when I saw that. Dasit was freestylin like no problem before and then he wants to come up with some sorry excuse like that.

    He definitely annoys the hell out of me with his whole "king of the 'burbs". Honestly, John Brown needs to learn when to just shut up.

    rappers aren't supposed to be sweet.  he should be kicked off of the show for letting a woman put a d***o in his face because he was to scared to battle her and get shut down.

    He showed me something when he dissed himself, especially in going after his own meaningless catchphrases.  But his circular arguments of being "King of the Burbs" and starting a "ghetto revival" drive me insane.

    i think that john brown is pretty good but he needs to stay focused!! lol in the episode where they split into teams and make cds i thought that it was good for his team to win bc i liked their song i mean i like sulle,$h@mrock,and 100 proof's song too but persia has a really good voice and i wasnt expecting that on the track!! it was pretty kewl!!

    Yeah I think having a girl on there team gave them an advantage. John Brown and Persia are the best ones now

    their song sounded better because they had that screw on the beat (when it said smokin in the club) and persia other than that shamrock an' 'em had hte hottest

    John Brown might be a sucker and sound totally stupid and meaningless with all that king of the burbs crap but one thing is for sure, when writing under pressure, he is the one to come up with best rhymes, not to talk about how he can manage to not get nervous. Just sayin'... I wasn't that big fan of him in the beginning either.

    Based off the last eppy, he wasn't all that great. If I was the host, I would of eliminated all three of them.
