This case is about a project on expanding life spans on human being indefinitely.
This is directed by Guy Ferland and this is not the first time that he has encountered such a premise as he was a director on Torchwood: Miracle Day which had shown a world in which death itself has died as no one in the world was dying.
Not a bad case.
Quite sad news that Sherlock and Joan at the end.

I had stopped watching "Elementary" abruptly in Season 5. Couldn't take the extraneous characters, social issues, and other distractions. This series has the distinction (for me) of being the only whose sixth season is the best of all and made me look for discussion forums; I just joined Tv.com.

The surprise ending was a stunner. Someone on another discussion forum said that Jonny Lee Miller seemed "off" throughout the episode, but this comment also said the detachment was purposeful. It was.

The silent fade-out was so effective. In the bridge scene, Sherlock said his brother was so full of joy, and that was a great description. It makes the ending more of a surprise. Anyone who has ever learned of a significant death months or even years after it occurs will know the unique helplessness.

Anyway, "Elementary" has been brilliant this season.moreless
