      • Tom Douglas: How many people use stale bread to make their bread crumbs, right? Stale bread to make your turkey stuffing. What the heck are ya thinking?! You buy $25 a pound crab and you put stale bread with it. It doesn't compute!

      • This episode included the Hilton Harmony Piano which had 104 of the 113 total signatures it collected over its year-long tour in support of music education in schools and the Grammy Foundation. Cliff played the instrument during the episode, and Emeril added his signature for Hilton's pledged $1,000 per signature at the beginning of the episode.

        Emeril says the auction of the piano will occur early next year, placing the filming of this episode in late 2006. The piano was auctioned on June 16, 2007, at the Beverly Hilton.

      • Tom Douglas was pushing the May 2006 release of his cookbook, I Love Crab Cakes! 50 Recipes for an American Classic. Each member of the studio audience received a copy to take home, as well as a jar of Tom's crab cake mix, Rub with Love.
