I watched the pilot early on Hulu and I was disappointed. The character Emily Owens, was engaging and interesting. I found it easy to care about her character and hope things really worked out for her. The supporting cast did a good job and established a good working dynamic. However, it puzzles me why a pilot would include a social issue, that divides the county and viewers, and attempt to make it appear so common place. If you want a show to gain traction try not to offend to general audience. If the writers would just produce shows that entertain, and not attempt to shape our social conscious, television would be better for it. This show will not make the recording Que.
