Emily, Will, and Cassandra are the final candidates for a research assistant position with Dr. Bandari, and feelings get hurt when Bendari asks them to describe one another's flaws. Emily works to solve the mystery of a boy whose x-rays reveal a bullet lodged in his lung, yet he shows no signs of a gunshot wound or scar. Meanwhile, Emily has an epiphany in her personal life after working with an adrenaline junkie patient with a rare disease that forces him to change his lifestyle.
