Television lacks a lot of history these days and ABC almost brings back the glory days of great historical tales.
The musical scores are not so good but the story is delivered at extraordinary pace but it is also obvious at the holes in the plot.

Altogether it is a good story for those who like historical movies and this should no doubt rival Rome a ten part series by BBC and HBO due out next fall.moreless
