After Nick decides to sell the bar, he asks what he was thinking, a baseball player opening a bar full of colorful characters where everybody knows your name. Then the theme song from Cheers plays during the change of scene. Nick's lines and the music both allude to the sitcom Cheers which features an ex ball player who owns his own bar.
