John Graham and Mickey Callaway became best friends in the eighth grade when Mickey's family moved to John's Chicago neighborhood. Now as adults they are enemies. His father, Jack Graham, was a policeman who raised John to respect the law. Mickey opted for a life of crime following the path laid out by his own father and his criminal syndicate his father helped build.
