Entourage

Had it been a regular Entourage episode it may have gotten the 10, but because finales of shows always demand something so much more I had no choice but to reduce the score a little bit. As a finale the episode kind of rushed things a little bit, getting Billy Walsh to read the script, agree to it, and then find a way to mess it all up by the end of the 24 minute episode was all a little hurried. I was hoping that Ari would have played a bigger role in the finale as his character was the best all season long. I wasnt too happy to see Sloane come into play for the finale, though it looks like her and Erics future may be looking a little dim as he is more focused on the movie right now then he is focused on her. Where Entourage goes from here could be anyones guess. They could do what they did at the end of Seasons 1 and 2 and make a huge jump in time to the end where the movie has all ready been filmed or they could pick up from this scene at the end of this episode. Overall, fantastic episode it just felt like the episode should have been given more time.

I loved this episode. Getting Billy Walsh to direct is probably not a great idea as the man is totally crazy, but the scenes with him were great. Partly because a pissed off Eric is a joy to behold. His assertion to Billy that "I've taken down guys taller than you" and then calling him a douchebag was awesome. What is even more awesome is that Billy listened to Eric and then read the script. I really can't stand Billy, but he makes for some interesting scenes, that is for sure.



Eric and Sloan's relationship is interesting to watch. I didn't like her last appearance with the Napa Valley episode, but in this one she is back to the Sloan I really like. While E is hyper focused on Medellin, I don't think she was being unreasonable in asking what would happen in 6 months after Medellin was shot. She handles the ups and downs and disappointments pretty well, so wanting to know where things were going wasn't out of line. Watching he and Eric argue is pretty cute, and it was nice that Eric didn't go too far into the land of being a total jerk. He really shouldn't listen to the 3 other loser single guys he knows when it comes to relationship advice. However, that said, no woman is going to be as important and his friends. At least not for a very long time. Sloan does seem to get that aspect of E, but that doesn't mean she doesn't want some assurances.



Watching Drama's complete inability to haggle was also really fun. Now Drama has a home and Vince does not. Nice turnaround. I am deeply nervous about Billy Walsh's directing. I hope Medellin doesn't tank, but it really does seem to be a cursed movie...

The show has really dropped off in it's third season, and this is the continuation and hopefully the end of that drop off.



The storyline with Drama moving was pretty much a time filler, to just extend the episode's air time. Who really cares where he lives? It' not that important, and really has no overall effect on the show, so why even bother with it?



The part of the episode centered around Vince and Eric trying to get Billy to direct the Escobar movie, which I can understand, but what I don't understand is why this guy starred directing adult films, it makes no sense...I get they're trying to make him come off as being a rebel, but showing him directing porno doesn't make him look like one.



The best part of the episode were the scenes with Eric and Sloan about their relationship, and those were very short scenes.



Season Score: 8/10.

Basicly, I am not satisfied with this one as end season episode. Maybe I am a little spoiled, because Entorage is masterpiece... As I mentioned in my review for 'Princes Bride', "we will have something to watch". Main line in this episode is fighting for budget. Guys trying to collect more than offer amount for Medellin. Drama try to low condo price. Its not even nicely to watch drawing money from somebody. It seems that everybody have cobra in their pocekt.

Shauna is back with her 'polite' manners. Nice to see her again. Excellent is represent conflict between Billy Walsh and Nick Rubenstein. Art against money, but they cant go in separate ways. I am looking forward to watch more of this hilarious verbal fights. Episode ends with, requested budget for Medellin and my favorite Gypsi Kings song, Hotel California (on Spanish), and of course Drama speach on Spanish too. Good luck boys.

The crew has moved out of the house... The guys are giving E a hard time about moving in with Sloan saying that he'll never be able to get out of there in peace... He's wondering if they are right and puts her off to go to Bolivia to film Medelin... Drama just over-extended himself to the tune of a 1.5 million dollar mortgage for a condo in Beverly Hills... he doesn't know if his show is going to be renewed or not. Meanwhile, Vince and E's first shot at Producing is turning out to be extremely educational for them and for the most part it looks like the are going to be able pull it off! Medelin is a go good luck guys...
