This was a great, well written episode that tied up all the loose ends. Only the Matt Damon sub-plot seemed tacked on for 'star power', but at least we learned exactly how much Vince earns in a year. Vince is successful, Drama has got to a new level in his career, E finally gets Sloane, and Ari finally becomes king of the agents after buying out Terrance. Only Turtle loses at the end, but he always was the loveable loser anyway.
In a show not known for compassion, I'd have to say the last conversation between Ari and Terrance was one of the most moving moments in the entire run, closely followed by Ari making peace with Lloyd and finally showing him respect.
Where can they go from here? Nowhere really- they've already taken Vince from success (Aquaman) to abject failure (Medillin) and back again. Ari has gone from Terrance's top man, to his own agency, to owning Terrance's agency. E has Sloane, Turtle is alone, and Drama is having a series developed for him. I suppose they could drag them all down again, but that would seem pointless and more than a little redundant. So thanks for six great seasons boys (and Ari)- it's been a great run but I think we're done here.moreless
