Couple of big things happened in thsi episode that I was rather excited about. Ari finnaly gives Eric and Vince the Aqauman script to read, which will hopefully be the subject of someof the drama in the next episode. Eric also being the center of attention during the episode was also a pretty big thing for me. I liked the random fling with the perfect 10 model, I liked the writing there because of the way he finnaly ended things with Kristin. I now like how everyone is single at the moment - which is how it should be in Hollywood. I think Eric was the only one trying to hang onto a normal life while living the big life and now he finnaly might start devoloping his character in a whole new way. Nice episode all around with some sex, some comedy, and some drama.moreless

  • As with all episodes of Entourage, it was well written and had its good share of entertaining moments, but it was hardly outstanding. At least the Kristen/E storyline finally ended - it seemed to just consume air time that could have been devoted to sometmoreless

All things considered, this episode is a bit of a filler - we don\'t really see any progress in Vince\'s career or his work status, no major changes for Drama or Turtle - and when you look at the episode by episode progression of the series, this is the one more than any other that you could miss and not lose any context when watching future episodes. Unfortunately, since this episode provides little news about the aforementioned three members of the Entourage, we are stuck with the end of the Kristen/E arc, which thankfully is concluded in entertainingEntourage fashion in this episode.

A few random thoughts about why the Kristen/E story arc watered down he episodes in which it was included: The relationship was pure drama and there was little to distinguish those scenes from a regular soap opera apart from E\'s presence. It just wasn\'t an Entourage style relationship - it lacked the player atmosphere, and there was quite frankly nothing entertaining about it. The most that I can say for it is it developed E\'s character in that we now have a greater understanding of his sensitivities and conscience. But in my opinion, it wasn\'t worth it. Just a waste of air time that could have been used for a few more well written entertaining scenes with Turtle and Drama or another unique look at the Hollywood high life.

However, the episode did have a lot of nice little details going for it, the kind of things that enrich all Entourage episodes and give the show an air of authenticity. As always, the cameos were intriguing, and while Lamar Odom and Jamie Presley wouldn\'t win any awards for best cameo episode of the series, they would stand up decently to some stiff competition. And how about the footage of the courtside seats at the Laker game? How much do you think legit footage of the guys at the game (granted it was against the Bobcats) boosts the overall coolness factor of the show? Deffinitely tops the already remarkable atmosphere from the time they went to the boxing match in Season One.

Also, not sure if there was a more entertaining hot party sequence in any other episode in the series other than in Aquamansion (Not sure you can make up a party hotter than Hef\'s pajama sensation at the Mansion). Getting to see this stuff is a huge part of the appeal of the show (and I don\'t think it\'s just me), and that party certainly give us a great chance to live the Hollywood life vicariously through Vince and his boys.

And of course, not to be forgotten is the hilarious side story about Johnny Drama\'s self-consciousness about his slender calves. High comedy in true Entourage fashion. And as always, you had a few great Turtle/Drama conversations that just make you crack a smile. Nothing over the top clever that you will remember for a few weeks this time around, but some solid stuff you will enjoy as it comes.
