For a long time I never minded any of the woman drama on the show until this episode. Eric, Vince, and Ari shine without any women in there roles. All three stepped up there acting in a huge way for this episode. Eric was confident on screen and focused and Vince didnt go into his pathetic acting of being depressed when he doesnt get what he wants. I think Ari's wife is badly casted, but I still think the three of them in this episode really showed what the writing needs to focus on. The writing for Entourage needs to focus where the actors are at there strongest - "The Big Three" talking about making movies, Drama being in the supportive depressive mode, and Turtle providing the filler comedy. I know the latter two sound like minimal parts to the show, but they provide solid comedy while the others provide the same with story advancement as well. I think the moving out of the mansion thing will be a fantastic idea. The mansion has become almost too routine this year and I really hope they move out of the mansion in the next two episode. Overall, amazing episode.moreless
  • Vince and E try to buy the rights to Medellin, Drama tries avoid reading reviews of his new television show, and Turtle hits on a hot girl with a scary father.moreless

    9.2
Vince's integrity is somewhat admirable, but I guess I would have just made Matterhorn to get what I wanted out of Medellin. I mean, Sandra Bullock made Speed 2 to get Practical Magic made, right? However, Vince is pretty unreasonable about the whole thing, which makes me like him more oddly enough.

I like their interactions with the other buyer of the script. He was a good side character and played off the cast really well, I thought.

I must say that I am getting tired of the Kick the Drama game. All of his reviews being bad was pretty disheartening. I don't' really like the character of Drama all that much, but it would be nice for him to get a win every now and then. I am glad that this episode ended with him getting that win. I really hope that his television show enables him to have quite a bit of success and for quite a while. It would be really good to see him doing well.moreless

I write this review afterwards. The reason is to see which is my favorite episode. After watching all four season and after big and tough consideration i can proudly present the my favorite episode. I choosed precisley this one because every character has his big moment, and we can feel that something big will happen for all of them. I rate this episode with high 10. It's truly the best one (in my humble opinion).

What is better to say for the and, than historical Johnny Drama's - VICTORY !!!

Bravo for all directors, writers and all hardworking personality.

    well done job guys !moreless
  • I got goose bumps. Don't think any '30 minutes a pop' series ever done that to me before... don't think any TV series done that to me before. Victory!

    9.9
I'm a big fan of Entourage and I keep getting surprised that it never slows down, fades away, looses appeal, stalls or even remotely looks like it's about to jump the shark. I've been stuck to this series since episode one and still I end every episode with a big smile on my face, and this episode has gotten the biggest one yet!
  • I didn't know how much I needed a feel good episode out of ANY drama or dramedy until this little gem happened.

... And THANK GOD that it did happen. Just for a while, maybe just a week, everything is fine; there are no scheemings, no bad blood, no one on the dumps. Made me feel better about the world, no kidding.

It surprised me: the whole "Drama doing something right and still getting kicked" suckered me in all the way. I pulled for Turtle's "old school" and even (although this one was tough) for Vince's straight all-on-the-line approach. And it worked! Usually I moan and groan about the righteous mush, but this show is about as much into that as, I don't know, House, so it was a brilliant change of pace and one of the VERY few episodes of any show which, to me, deserves a 10.moreless

  • QUOTES (9)

    • Vince: (about the Matterhorn script)We were never really into it.
Ari: I know that's the thing. The script has been changed more times than Andy Dick's vibrator, you will love it now, Vince, trust me.

    • Ari: Sometimes, things just aren't meant to be. Sometimes, no matter how bad you want something, you gotta let it go. Senior year- alright- I was obsessed with Katie Sherman, most insane tits. Anyway, the moment that I found out that she gave half the football team crabs, I was done. (claps hands together as if washing his hands) Never thought about it again.

    • Rufus: You wanna cry or you wanna wait?
Turtle: Can I wait near her?
Rufus: That's my daughter Turtle, so no... you mother-fucking CAN NOT.

    • Drama: I'll make breakfast for ya bro. Could you wait a little bit?
      Vince: What's a little bit?
Drama: Ah... maybe eight hours or so.

    • Drama: What the hell is that?
Vince: It's Turtle. He's got something that will cheer you up.
      Drama: A gun?

    • Ari: (to Lloyd) Don't tell me you wack off to The Warriors.

    • Eric: We think it could be like Scarface Joe.
Joe: Scarface was a bomb at the box-office.
Eric: Scarface was ahead of it's time. Medellin isn't, Medellin is now.

    • Ari: (to Vince) The movie is yours. You got it for 5 Million dollars. The studio is into it for more than twice that, but they're gonna settle, alright. Congratulations, you're the proud owner of 150 pieces of paper!

    • Turtle: I'm hungry.
      Vince: Me too.
Turtle: Should I try and make us something?
      Vince: I'm not that hungry.
