  • This is just pure fun, maybe too pure.

I have seen a lot of TV shows along the years and I must say that I did not have so much fun as watching this episode. Fun characters, fun situations, beautiful women, cool cars, cool music, you really can't ask for more. Or do you?

The characters work great together, each gives his own special touch to the show (Drama and Ari Gold rule!!). Kevin Connolly (Eric) is the weakest link for me, something in his act is not reliable. The story is the part where you are looking for more. I know that this is only the first episode, and we got here a really nice introduction of the characters and their world, but there is nothing else. I can't see any point for all of this except some guys having fun. I hope we will get some more story in the future episode, right now this is pure fun.moreless
  • I was really excited about this show.

Because it only aired here this week and I had read a lot about it. But it was kind of disapointing. I know it is only the first episode so I hope it gets better because the guys got Emmys and everything, and I like most of the actors, I really like Jeremy Piven. I also thought it was a very short episode, it wasn't time for anything. Well, the characters were more or less defined but ... what can I say a didn't like it that much. Tomorrow there's going to another and I'm not going to read about, I will just have to wait and see.moreless
  • Review

We got a big dose of the Hollywood life that the Boys live in this episode, with more girls in this episode then we saw in the Pilot. I dont think this show is going to do too much character devolopment, but I almost wouldnt really expect much of it out of a comedy show anyways. A lot of episodes ratings can be saved simply because of the comedy aspect of the show, which allows the drama/character devolopment area to be less then optimal then most other shows. I thought this episode itself was okay, nothing amazing but nothing boring. I was entertained throughout the episode.moreless
  • Pretty Cool.

So Vince gets a really bad review and he says it doesn't affect him. His agent though... confronts Eric about being a good manager and Eric trys to get Vince to try not to spend too much money. Vince buys a car and is planning to buy a house so Eric kind off gets freaked out. Vince's brother... is taking acting lessons. They also go to Jessica Alba's party and Vionce buys her a bottle of wine. At the end though NY Times says Vince Chase is the next Johnny Depp, but once again he does not care about the critics.moreless

  • TRIVIA (1)

  • QUOTES (17)

    • Ari: (about Eric) Guy doesn't wanna make money. He's a communist. (to Eric) You a communist? Or you a socialist? Or didn't they teach you the difference at Pepperoni U?

    • Drama: What a view.
Vince: We're at a party with some of the hottest girls in the world, and we're staring at a bunch of fuckin lights.

    • Marvin: You guys are out of control. Twenty five hundred dollars a month his brother spends on vitamin supplements. Nobody can take that many supplements and still fuckin live!

    • Drama: Hey, you girls wanna party?
Girl Driving Car: Hey, you look familiar. How do I know you?
Turtle: You watch Cinemax at 5 AM?

    • Drama: Shit, I got crazy pussy in high school and I was driving a moped.

    • Drama: Do you remember, The Orange County Register said I was a functioning retard. Now that was a bad review.
Turtle: I thought that was a compliment.

    • Vince: What do you think E?
Eric: I think it cost more than the houses we grew up in.
Turtle: Fuckin Subaru cost more than the houses we grew up in.

    • Drama: I dreamt about it last night too Vince. We're cruisin down Rodeo, suddenly two jerkoffs pull up and say, "Hey Chase Brothers, fuck your mother", and then open fire.
Eric: Well it had to be a dream, somebody recognized you.

    • Jessica: (to Ari) Can I think about it.
Ari: Don't think. Thinking is bad for your complexion

    • Ari: (to Jessica Alba) Unbelieveable party. (to guy standing next to her) Jason right? How do you do man? Nice to see you. I think that um..I think you can be doing a lot more.
      Jessica: (laughs)Oh wow.
Ari: No no, I do. I think...I..I. your not...
Jessica: Your really talking shop right now?
      Ari: I am talking shop.

      Ari: Indeed, indeed.
      Jessica: At my party!
      Ari: Yes! Yes, yes.
      Jessica: My agent isn't here.
Ari: I know she's not here because I slashed her tyres. Shes on her hands and knees right now on Mulholland. She's not going to make it because you want a statue, you deserve a statue, you do, you deserve it. Because your natural energy, the way you are, hasn't been seen yet. Someone needs to step up and utilize you for the way you are, your self empowered, interesting woman, and you need to take it. And not an MTV Award, but like a real one.

    • Emily: It's good to meet guys from Queens, my dad's from Flushing.
      Drama: Oh yeah?
Eric: Oh yeah, where'd you grow up?
Emily: I grew up out here, but don't hold that against me alright?

    • Turtle: Sure, Eric... you had to beg for pussy on prom night.
Eric: Yeah, but I begged my GIRLFRIEND, Turtle... not some $40 hooker who declined my mother's credit card.

    • Drama: Why you gotta use $47 lotion to whack off?
      Turtle: I got sensitive skin.

    • Drama: (reading from The Vagina Monologues) If your vagina could talk, what would it say in two words?
      Turtle: Eat me.

    • Ari: What are you doing bringing up a bad review?
Eric: You said it doesn't matter... (cut off)
      Ari: It DOES matter.

    • Ari: You wanna hug it out?
      Eric: No, not really...
      Ari: C'mon... Let's hug it out, B*tch.

    • (Vince and the guys talking about one of Vince's bad reviews - Drama tries to sympathize)
Drama: The Orange County Register called me a functioning retard...... now that's a bad review.
