  • Why So Serious?

    9.5
    "Superb"
Looking over the scores for season four I must say I was a little nervous heading into the season. The show has changed a lot since seasons one, two, and three. I will tell everyone that right now and I have been saying it all season long. Usually in the past Ari has been trying to get Vince X part in Y movie and that is simply not the case this season and I'm not sure that it ever will be again. I think the biggest problem people may have with the season is the "lack" of a season long story arch. Personally, I don't mind it. I think the show has been focusing on getting back to being "funny" and I think the Anna Farris thing in this episode is going to turn out to be a significant portion of the remaining episodes. I think Eric is going to take the job with Anna and try and be a double manager for her and Vince and that may drive a little wedge in between Vince and Eric as soon as Eric chooses to help Anna with a problem over Vince. The fact that she has a boyfriend makes me wonder why he took the case in the first place. Turtle and the girl that he brought home was actually kind of funny. Drama hooks up with a girl for the first time in what seems like all season. I think this might be the episodes of season four which seems a little random at the time but is going to turn out to be the turning point of the season.moreless
  • I don't think the storyline was THAT interesting in this episode and Ari Gold's plot seemed a bit off the track.

    "Great"
I am a huge Jeremey Piven fan and Ari Gold is properly the best that have ever happend to Television in my opinion. But as much as I hate to say this, I think his plot in this episode was properly one of the worst. I think the whole scenario with his wife back at some random soap and him getting jelous was maybe too much and way off track. Not really Ari Gold who blew it or Piven, but I just think it was not interesting or funny at all.

Vince and the entourage has moved into a nice and sweet place and I think it is nice that they are back living the real superstar life. I think it was sad that Vince and his brother Drama wasn't able to have a good time without E, Turtle or some pot.

Then we got this classic entourage move ,where Turtle picks up some ladies (using Vince's name of course) and they end up getting laid. This time wasn't different from any of the other ones and nothing fun happend. Maybe Turtle's flame towards the chubby one on the back seat, but I really in general didn't think it was interesting or funny.

On the other hand - and properly the most important part of this episode - I think it was nice to see E have some luck with his company. I don't like E that much, but he showed some talent and that he really got potential as a manager.

So without doubt not my favorite episode and I hope they get back on track the next episode.moreless
  • Eric gets himself a new client. Turtle has a run in with the law. Ari fights jealousy...

This was a good episode of Entourage. Certainly not the best but not the worst either. Ari being jealous of his wife kissing another guy while acting was hilarious. I'm glad we can still always count on him to be nuts. And I totally love Mrs. Ari she's really great and so much the perfect counterpart for Ari. It was good to see Eric get another client, and to see Vince get jealous. This is not going to go well I think. Vince is a full time job. Turtle and Drama was mildly funny this episode but nothing great.moreless
