This show needs to learn how to write better twists into the show then how they do it. You dont simply make a huge revalation in one episode to turn it around a hundred percent in the next episode. We went from Vince, Ari, Bob, and Eric having a huge plan for doing a movie at the end of the last episode to now having no new movie in this episode. For a thirty minute show I would say that is a bit much for the turnaround. Dramas first day on the new show was comical and actually helped saved the rating for the episode in general. The shoe storyline was pretty boring and didnt tie into anything other then Turtles recent depression over losing his big rap star. Overall, this episode was okay as far as the comedy goes but the drama is beginning to slip. The show needs to write in mroe creative twists then having Vince gain / lose a movie every time in every episode it seems.
Classic Hollywood at its best! I personally have enjoyed this season and I hate to see it come to an end. Time to up the ante and make the show an hour long and last for a longer season. I can see the drama unfold with the hopes of doing the Ramones movie, and it all falling throught he cracks in the final show of the season. However, in the opening show of the new season next year, we will find that all will work out as planned, or at least for the time being. Entourage is by far one of the best shows on today!
This episode left much to be desired. The Turtle storyline for the sneakers could\'ve been ok but most of the dialogue between Turtle and Vince was Turtle whining. It didn\'t portray Turtle in a too positive way. Turtle blamed Vince for everything in that episode and it was sad to watch as Vince gave into him so quickly. It was good to see the immediate tension between Bob and Ari which soon turned into conflict. It almost feels bittersweet as Bob gets his revenge on Ari, yet you know it doesn\'t feel right as you want the best for Vince. Drama\'s pilot was a great filler between the two plots of Vince and Eric. There should\'ve been more time put into the Drama pilot scenes as it was more entising than a pair of sneakers that are tough to find.
Sub-stories: Johnny has his first big part in forever and is a little worried about his performance. To settle his nerves he ends up following turtles advice and "rubs one off as Ed Burns put it in his brief but humerous cameo. Turtle and Vince are in search for some very limited edition sneakers with next to no luck. Vince ultimately the cause for tutrtles inability to porcure his sneakers tries his best to find a way to make them appear. Vince as always comes through in the clutch and helps turtle find his "walking art".
Main Storyline: Ari, Eric, and Bob Ryan have their meetings to try and sell The Ramones story "I wanna be sedated" to the studios. Bob ensures paramounts decline of the project leading Ari to take things into his own hands. Ari ensures Bob does not appear at the next meeting and he and Eric are able to sell the movie to another studio without Bob interupting. Later on they learn Bob who actually owns the project has decided to sell to Warner because they dislike Vince due to the Aquaman 2 Fiasco. Bob gets his revenge and Ari and Eric leave Vince and themselves with their pants down, but that did seem to work for Drama so we'll see what happens on next weeks episode.
Overall: I thought this was very funny. I enjoyed the writing as well as the story as always, even if it was basically a lead into the next episode. I'm hoping Bob was messing with them because he was pissed but more likely than not the gang will have to find something else. I think we all know Vince Just Wants Something To Do and I wish him the best of luck.
