Chen returns to the hospital with proof of Weaver's misplaced pager and demands her job back, threatening a lawsuit. Weaver disapproves of the idea, but Romano forces her to do it. As her colleagues watch, Sandy Lopez plants a kiss on Weaver, effectively outing her. Carter attempts to mediate between his bickering parents. Mark and Elizabeth's opinions on Rachel's future differ, but Mark decides to keep her in Chicago for the time being. "Good"

This episode left me contra versa feelings. There were good storylines like the one with Susan and the inmate and the question she raised - they saved that man so that government could waste money on him and then kill him. And those bruises.. what was going on?

Carter's family troubles. The way he is on the middle and the past is hunting with everyone. Specially the mother side of the storyline this episode - it was convincing. But.. Deb storyline.. It really made her look so bad and those two - she and Weaver. There will be much hard blood, quite sure. And I did not liked the Lopez/Weaver storyline either even thought I am sure it was great deal and well done but somehow - it did not get to me. Greene and his sudden revelation about his daughter - does he think that trying harder will help? I am sure we will see what comes up.

And Abby's neighbors storyline - it... sad but truemoreless

John Carter is stuck in the middle of his parents and having to deal with his mother's guilt and drinking/drug taking.
Mark Greene is trying to be a good father to Rachel, and will not let her decide that she wants to go back to her Mum when things don't go her own way. He is also struggling to keep Elizabeth happy, as her patience is stretched.
Abby calls the police out when her new neighbours fight in the night and the wife, JOyce calls out for help. Joyce doesn't want to press charges, but later comes into the ER with a damaged ankle.Abby tries to help her, but Brian (husband) comes to pick Joyce up and she leaves with him.
Kerry had started a relationship with Sandy Lopez, a firefighter, but when out in public she had walked out of sight of colleagues. This infuriated Sandy, who came to see her at the ER. They disagreed about Kerry coming out in front of her work colleagues and Sandy kissed her in full view of the desk. This episode doesn't have any resolutions, it just builds up the tempo on a number of scenarios for these characters in particular. It is effective in building the picture, but not memorable in any big way.moreless
