  • Romano has a heart!

    9.3
    "Superb"
When Romano finds Elizabeth in the lounge crying and asks her whats wrong, When Elizabeth tells him that the brain tumor has returned and he only has a few months to live I thought that they (writers) might have has Romano say something totally normal as he never seems to think about what he says and rarely seem's to care for others feelings. When he says Yes to Elizabeth's question "am I suppose to watch my husband die" My eyes welled up, I was absolutly speechless. Romano has a heart that beats blood and not stone!!moreless

  • Long kept secret...

    "Superb"
This episode was just so brilliant. The way the had portrayed the emotional journey of Cordey and Greene. Starting from their mornings, when noone expected to end where they ended, the way Elizabeth started to realize that there is something and confronts Susan who tries to keep the secret but manages to tell it so well that she can understand and the look on her face, the scenes when she goes in that door.. that nurse shows her where Mark is.. and she looking.. it was incredible well done. And the end, going home and Rachel, giving Ella to her. Those emotions. And the talk she had with Romano. One of those Romano moments when he does look like human he does not need to hurt and yell at everyone.

  • Greene and Corday deal with his tumor returning.

    10
    "Perfect"
This episode is wonderful. Mark knows that he has little time left, yet has not told Corday that the tumor has returned. Susan is caring for him, giving him eye drops. Corday sees this and confronts Susan about what is happening with Mark. Susan tells her to think about it, what would be happening that Mark would not want her to know. It\'s so sad that Corday and Greene pulled so far apart. However, in my opinion, the best scene of the episode is with Romano and Corday. She\'s sobbing in the lounge when he walks in spouting his usual negative comments. But when he hears why Corday is so upset, he asks if she loves Mark and when she says yes, he tells her to care for him. A very human and caring side of Romano is evident during the scene.moreless

  • This is a very moving episode, especially for Eliazabeth and Mark.

    9.6
    "Superb"
Ella's nanny brings her into the ER and Elizabeth calls Mark to see her. Ella has said her first word 'dadda'. Elizabeth finally finds out that Mark's tumour is back. She isn't sure what to do - but Romano makes it very simple for her - you love him, he's your husband, deal with it.
He is at his most caring in this scene, and shows great compassion, yet strength as a friend to Elizabeth.

Kerry realises how much she cares about Sandy, when she might have been injured in a fire. Kerry goes to find her after work and they make up.

Carter has to apologise to Susan, now that he knows she stayed at Mark's due to his illness. He is still talking to Abby and getting nowhere. Abby is still staying at Luka's and they are clearly happy being friends. They even share a beer, whilst chatting.

Elizabeth returns to the house and gives Ella to Rachel, before going to help Mark. Given their history, this tells Rachel that her Dad is sick again. The build-up to Mark's death is already intense and for the ER, all too well known.moreless
