Carol gets her results and before she opens them, as she is so sure she failed, Weaver already tells her that she did fine. So, as a nurse later says, Carol becomes Weaver's new pet and she gives her a changes to do things normal nurses usually do not do. But that all makes her feel uncomfortable, like beginner and after a case where a young boy dies and she acts like she mostly does, maybe just little more emotionally involved, she is going to have doubts - she likes what she does, she is good at her current position - why she has to change it. She gets even more and more doubtful, when she gives a change for the boy's mother to say goodbye and when Weaver wants to bring a patience into to the room, her actions make Weaver say that she is now a medicine student and she should start thinking like one. That is the final reason, she needs and she knows - she is good nurse and she loves what she does.
Also Carter is having hard time as Anspaugh gives him no place and when his follow intern makes a mistake as he does not fill the chart and then after the man almost died, fixes it, Carter has a decision to make.
Greene has hard time with her daughter but he manages to work it out guit well.
