Carter: Ah, the smell of fresh med students in the morning. Susan: What is it about them? They all seem so... Frank: Gullible, immature, vapid? Susan: I was going to say "sweet".
Harkins: Excuse me, is there anyway we can wait in the doctor's lounge? Frank: (Sarcastically) As soon as you're a doctor.
(After Pratt brings an already pronounced dead man back) Carter: You brought the man back, Pratt, because you felt like it. You wanted to see if you could.
(They're talking about Dr. Weaver) Chen: She's been pretty moody lately. Carter: Lately?
(Carter is sleeping on the couch.) Luka: Hi. Oh, you're not gonna wake him up? Abby: Neh. Luka: Didn't you two come in together? Abby: Yeah. I'm sure he can find his way home without me. Luka: You need a lift then? Abby: No thanks. Have a good night.
Romano: Lizzie. You're one face I missed seeing in recovery. Corday: I'm so sorry Robert. Romano: About my arm? Or about not being there?
Occupational Therapist: Give me your middle finger. Romano: I would if I could.
Kayson: Who's talking? Carter: That's Pratt, first year resident. Kayson: Then shut up.
Pratt: (to new med students) So, newbies, huh? You don't want to work here.
Music: "Think About Me," Goo Goo Dolls; "Piano Man," Billy Joel
There is a scene where Elizabeth is in an elevator and an instrumental version of Billy Joel's "Piano Man" is softly playing, making her return just a tad more difficult; "Piano Man" is the song that Elizabeth and Mark sang Karaoke to in the Season 6 episode "All In the Family."
