Neela: (to Frank) You know what? You're a horrible man. Do you think it's pleasant being greeted every day by a fusillade of homophobic, xenophobic ranting from a bigot? From now on, I expect nothing from you but silence--blissful silence.
Pratt: We had to open up your chest to bypass the blockage. So, no more nachos, no more pierogies. Frank: I'm in hell, right? You killed me. You and your faithful Indian companion.
(while watching the news story about the man who stole the tank) Morris: Oh, my God! He's coming for us. Abby: Not us, pal. You!
Morris: You have beautiful skin. Chuny: Leave me alone Morris.
Frank: Oooooh, lesbian cat fight! Somebody grab a video camera.
Abby: Are you having any suicidal thoughts? Tony Welling: Hell no. I'm not gonna kill myself. I'm gonna kill him! Abby: His BP's elevated. We can call medicine, see if they have a bed. Morris: Just let him go! Why do you care? Tony Welling: I'm gonna frag his red ass, then I'm gonna piss all over his useless corpse! Abby: Mr.Welling... Mr.Welling! Tony Welling: I'm gonna make you cry!
Luka: No, it was fine. Sam: Because, when I said before... I didn't mean we shouldn't see each other at all. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Luka: You want things to be casual. Sam: Right. But if it's a choice between something serious or nothing, maybe serious is the way to go.
(About Gillian) Luka: She has a boyfriend. Sam: That's nice. Luka: You said you didn't want to be exclusive! Sam: I said it four days ago! Luka: I forgot she was coming. Sam: You know what, I don't care. It's fine, Luka. Luka: It's fine? Sam: You think I really care how many french girls you're screwing? You already nailed every nurse in the ER!
(A man in a tank is looking for Morris) Morris: Dr.Weaver if I'm endangering any lives, I'm willing to leave. Weaver: Good. Why don't you go stand in the middle of Lake Shore Drive and play Tiananmen Square.
(Sam and Luka are fighting) Pratt: You two want me to call Dr. Phil?
Corday: (referring to Dr. Lawson) Why are they like this? Sam: Who? Corday: One minute you're fighting and the next they invited you to dinner Sam: You're asking the wrong person.
Neela: Hard to believe he [Frank] was an officer. Pratt: And a husband and a father. Neela: And a bigot. Pratt: That too.
Chen: What's with all these boxes Frank? Frank: That's where I keep my lists of idiotic questions.
Although in the opening credits, Sherry Stringfield and Sharif Atkins do not appear in this episode.
Weaver: Why don't you go stand in the middle of Lake Shore Drive and play Tiananmen Square? Dr. Weaver is refering to the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests in Beijing, China, that began on April 14 of that year and culminated on June 4 when tanks cleared the square. Approximately 3000 people died in the massacre. Weaver is specifically alluding to a particular moment captured on film the day after the square was cleared, June 5, on the Avenue of Eternal Peace, when a single unarmed protester held his ground for several hours in a poignant face-off with a line of military tanks.
