Oh I don't think that would be about an ER death. Has to be like a police officer I would think. They're always in the line of fire. The ER can't afford to lose anyone else right now anyway.

I don't think of officer as a term you'd use in the hospital at all. I would think this will be about the police and an office-involved shooting of some sort. Whether Sam's Litchfield is involved or just incidental is hard to say. I can see it going either way. This could be a nice, tight episode about the relationship between the police and the ER.

I was thinking the same thing, a police officer. And when a police officer says "officer down" doesn't that just imply injured not necessarily dead? I hope Doc is right and we get some ER/police interaction. I always liked it when the fire department and the ER crossed paths!

I loved that episode where the ambulance was in trouble. I can't remember what it was called but a mother was giving birth in the ambulance and Kerry and someone else decided to jump in, against fire department orders...

You don't think it's Frank, though? He used to be a police officer. And Gallant was an Army officer so it could still be someone close to the ER.

I don't remember that one. Which season and epi is that? I will have to rewatch it!

Just a reminder, ladies, that this thread is for discussion of current season episode titles and speculation. You might want to take the discussion of a Season 8 episode to a more appropriate thread.

Ah! I can't believe it's that time again... I remember lurking on here when everyone was chatting and speculating about the S13 premiere. So far, all of the episode titles are really sparking my curiousity... I'm still on the fence as to whether I'd like to be spoiled or not... but the titles are tempting me.

Comparing episodes in fine - though with just a title that's hard - but actaully discussing episodes needs to be elsewhere.

Yea, I mean it's not like it went way off on a tangent or anything, just a post or two stemming from the current title we have to ponder.

I'm thinking it'll be a police officer though (can't be Gallant now )

Episode titles! Now I got my blood pumping again! Anywho, interesting title. I really do hope it crosses between the ER doctors and the police officers.

Officer Down is a very captivating title, IMO. I immediately think of the action and drama that made me get hooked on ER in the first place. I will be spoiler-free again this season, but if anyone knows what episode we will see Luka again, please PM me.

That was Michael. Kerry threw her crutch into the ambulance and just jumped in. I thought it was pretty impressive, and I don't usually even like Kerry. Michael did a nice job working with her, too. I don't remember the name of the episode, however.

Did I just hear the vaguest compliment of Kerry coming from you, Des? Are you feeling quite yourself tonight?
