Who are the top 5 ER Nut Cases- Patcient, Relative or Doctor?
1. The Guy that killed Lucy.
2. Sam's son Alex
3.Clemente
4. The "How Ya Doing - How ya Doing" guy begging for change.
5.Pratt's brother Leon (not really a nut case- very lovable) - Did they ever say if he really won the lottery?-lol

But, Abby dosen't seem too far behind them these days-LOL
She's always seemed to have esteem and trust issues -oh and drinking. But, Alcohol might be the least of her problems.
She's in a very Dark place in her life.

2. Amanda Lee (impersonated a doctor and stalked Mark)

3. The guy that pretended to be a doctor and spent the entire day studying the ER as a model for a new hospital, and then turned out to be a psych patient from upstairs (from "Sleepless in Chicago")

4. John Smythe and Brenda Wilkerson, the couple that kept coming up with weird illness situations to see how fast the staff could find solutions (from "Calling Dr. Hathaway")

5. The girl who even after giving birth insisted that she was not pregnant (from "White Guy, Dark Hair")

1. Definitely going with the general consensus on this one...Paul Sobricki. Totally nuts.
2. The guy who attacked Mark. Still haunts me sometimes.
3. Ames. I cannot stand watching those episodes where he is stalking Luka, and Abby, and I have a lot of trouble especially with the one where he kidnaps Luka!
4. The girl in season 7 (I think) who stabbed herself to get rid of her baby, then blamed it on someone else and refused to have a C-section. So sad, they got the court order like an hour after her baby died.
5. The woman (can't remember what season) who thought her ex was breaking in so she threw her kids out the window. It turned out she was psychotic, and no one was breaking in. Terribly sad, I know at least one child was seriously injured, and I think another died.
6. I know we're only doing 5, but you can't not mention Maggie! I think bi-polar counts as being nuts, although apparently she is doing better. I'm going to include Eric in this as well. I can't get over how he fell in Gamma's grave!

That wold be season 11 episode FEAR! i love that episode, it sticks with me!

4. There was this one guy from Brothers and Sisters (the episode, not show ) who thought he could heal people. I remember Jerry believed him. That was funny.
3. Amanda Lee. It was so pointless, but created some funny scenes in season 5.
2. The DID patient from Jigsaw, that was an amazing episode.
1. Maggie. Simply because I adore Sally Field. I honestly believe to this day that no other actress could have made Maggie as great as she did.

This is a great topic!

1. Guy who insisted he was dead and spent the day under a sheet
2. Woman in love with Prince Charles
3. Mai Mai commander who held a gun to Carter's head. Nut job and totally scary too.
4. The Doctor who had a crush on Mark Greene (played by Mare Winningham)
5. Teenage girl who beats up her mother.
6. Abby's mother and brother
7. The woman who accidentally smothered a baby some years ago and is now reliving trauma with her new baby. Abby treated her. Not technically a nut job because she was suffering genuine grief but still.
8. Romano. The guy was an out and out loon let's face it.
9. The guy who only wanted Dr Greene to treat him until Greene died and then he transferred his trust to Carter.
10. The girl who intentionally drove her car into some nasty high school girls.

There have been some superb background characters on this show. It's not just the leads who make a good quality show.
