In so many ways, this episode seemed to be breaking point, one or another way. First, Deb, who makes a mistake trying to be better than Carter. And the way she took it and later talked with Carter...

Then Mark... he had to present the case when she had complications birth and mother died. It is really hard for him and have been affecting him quite long. The new chief tried to make him feel reveled but it did not helped. It also was breaking point for his family and Jenn is not interested of having more connections with him.

And Lewis - Chloe is back and she is not mad with her. They will get it over together.moreless

    • Chloe: I don't want to give you any trouble. Susan: Yeah, right. Chloe: Ronnie sold my stuff. Susan: (sarcastically) You're kidding. I'm shocked! Chloe: You were so right about him. Actually, you were right about all of them. Susan: Yeah, well... They're basically the same person.

    • Mrs. Benton: Your skills and talents are God's gift to you. What you do with them is your gift back to God.

    • Title: "House of Cards" The title of this episode is a reference to the structure one can build by balancing playing cards one against another. Metaphorically, the expression alludes to the extremely unstable and fragile nature of an arrangement or situation that puts it in danger of collapsing or failing.
