ER Season 12 Episode 11

Ray: Look, Kerry, Dr.Weaver. Uhm, have you ever dreamed about something without ever believing it would actually happen? Because that's what this is. This is so huge to me that if I couldn't do this, I would seriously consider quitting.
Kerry: Far be it for me to stand in the way of the next Springsteen or KC and the Sunshine Band. Resignation accepted.
Ray: What?

(Luka and Abby are slow-dancing on New Years Eve)
Abby: First time I was panicked the baby would be bi-polar. And I'm not so sure it's changed that much.
Luka: The chances are slim. Crossing the street is a risk. If you let it get to you, you wouldn't have children. Nobody would.
Abby: Well, maybe some people aren't supposed to.
Luka: I don't think you're one of them.
Abby: Yeah well, you don't know what it was like... with Maggie and Eric.
Luka: You're looking for reasons again.
Abby: What are you looking for? Somebody to have a baby with?
(They stop dancing and Luka looks at her)
Luka: That what you think? If it is then, what are we doing here? (pause)
Abby: Happy New Year. (They kiss)

Luka: We could find a way to make it work, if that's what you want.
Abby: I don't know what I want. I mean I'm 37 years old. If not now, when?
Luka: You know how I feel about it. Everything happens for a reason.
Abby: It scares me, Luka.
Luka: Having it, or choosing not to?
Abby: Yeah!

Luka: You made a decision?
Abby: Well, we don't even know what we are to each other!
Luka: No one ever knows that.
Abby: Oh, come on!
Luka: We've been friends for a long time...
Abby: Yeah...
Luka: Good friends. We've been through a lot together.
Abby: That doesn't mean we could take care of a child!
Luka: It has to be your choice... I know that.

Luka: I don't want everything we have to come down to this one decision. (pauses) We can get past it. You did what you had to do. It doesn't mean we can't be together.
Abby: I didn't do it. I couldn't. I want to keep it. I want us to have this baby.

Neela: You're the wrong person to talk to about this.
Luka: Excuse me?
Neela: I would like your permission to consult with another attending. (pauses) Someone who's not Catholic.
(Luka stares at her, angry, taking in what she says before speaking in a low voice.)
Luka: I want you to listen to me very seriously. I am a doctor first, above and beyond anything else, and I don't let my personal beliefs get in the way of a patient's best interests. Ever!

Amanda: Is it a sin?
Luka: It's just a medical way we have of uh... (hesitates) giving God a chance to reconsider.

Abby: What if I go shopping and leave it in the supermarket?
Luka: (laughs) Don't worry. I'll do all the shopping.

Neela: I am just trying to be professional.
Kerry: It's annoying.

Ray: I need a few weeks off.
Kerry: Why?
Ray: My band got a recording deal. We're going to L.A.
Kerry: Back away from the gurney or I will impale you with my crutch.
Ray: Kerry.
Kerry: Back off Elvis.

Dr. Clemente(talking to Morris): If you can get a smile from surgery I'll help you pay for the date.
Dr. Albright: You are right on the cusp of sexual harassment Clemente.
Dr. Clemente: The cusp. That would be new position for me.
