(about Morris, who has walked into a truma late).
Inez: What does that guy do?
Abby: Ah! He's the Chief Resident.
Inez: No. Seriously.
(Abby spots Luka drinking in a bar)
Abby: Hey sailor! New in town?
Luka: Have a seat.
Abby: No, I have to get going. I took our Brackalady up to oncology. It was sad. She was telling me how she's at this point of her life where she's worried that some of the things she wants she's never gonna have. She could never imagine feeling that way... it's sad.
Luka: (pause) Must miss it. Drinking.
Abby: (laughs) Wow! You'd be a terrible sponsor.
Luka: Yeah, I could never give it up. Miss it too much.
Abby: Well, you might wanna think about suspending it for the evening.
Luka: Need a ride home?
Abby: No, but I think you do.
Luka: I do?
Abby: You're not driving like this.
Luka: I'm not?
Luka: I was thinking... I've been thinking. We let things get away from us. We don't have to leave it like that.
Sam: Luka...
Luka: No, a lot happened, fast. Too fast. Maybe we should just take our time. Make sure we know what we're doing. I don't want this to be one more thing I messed up.
Sam: We're pretending, Luka. I don't want to pretend anymore.
Pratt: How you doing?
Luka: That floor came out of nowhere.
(A man has a body suit with pictures of the organs)
Mr.Trimbody: She was about to feel my liver, wasn't she? I mean, come on. You're not in the fifth grade. My spleen is right here! (points to the suit)
Neela: There's no need to get excited, sir.
Mr.Trimbody: Should I draw you a picture? Oh, it's right here in front of you! All of it! The entire human anatomy!
Neela: Actually, sir. It's not. You have no genitalia.
Morris: What do we do about this new nurse, tsar, Eve something or other?
Weaver: Peyton. She came in to meet with the Emergency Services Committee and we all loved her.
Morris: Is it her job to slow the floor down to a crawl?
Abby: I thought that was your job.
Morris: My point being. All the nurses are in there, jacking away.
Abby: They're entitled to a staff meeting, Morris.
Morris: Not unless I say so... (Off Weaver's look) We say so... Not unless Dr. Weaver says so.
Neela: (while getting ready to take a photo) Say cheese.
Pratt and KJ: (holding a pizza) Cheddar!
Luka: I can't get him out of my head.
Abby: Who?
Luka: (Lights a cigarette) That guy. What a mess. (Takes a puff of the cigarette) All melted flesh, but even so, enough will to keep walking. Body ruined but... still desperate to live.
Abby: And he's alive.
Luka: (Turns on the TV) I wonder if I... (Takes a drag of his cigarette) if I were hurt like that... (Places his cigarette in ashtray)
Abby: If you would keep on walking?
Luka: If any... if anyone would know who I was?
Abby: I would (Long pause, then too lightly) probably.
(Luka sighs, then falls asleep as Abby chides him about his apartment)
(While Ray is getting lucky in the next room)
Neela: Ray! I can't concentrate!
Abby: Wow! Didn't take you long to embrace the bachelor lifestyle.
Luka: Nah, it's like riding a horse.
Abby: Or living in a barn.
Music: "Over My Head (Cable Car)," The Fray
Morris: (while chasing a rambunctious child in a red spaceman outfit) Houston, we have a problem!
This is a line made famous in the 1995 film Apollo 13.
Title: "Man With No Name"
The episode title alludes to a character portrayed by Clint Eastwood in three Italian "spaghetti westerns" directed by Sergio Leone: A Fistful of Dollars (1964), For a Few Dollars More (1965), and The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (1966). Interestingly, the western playing on Luka's TV at the beginning and end of the episode is not one of the ones featuring "The Man With No Name," but rather 1973's High Plains Drifter, in which Eastwood portrays a character known as "The Stranger."
