    • Malucci: Why do they [Benton and Kovac] get to go? [on the helicopter]
Carter: Because they don't get sick on the chopper.
Malucci: I told you, I had the flu...

    • Benton: I'm a doctor, I'm here to help. Can you talk?
      Shooter: Go to hell.
Benton: I'll take that as a yes.

    • Carter: Abby, I think you're, uh, seeing things. Maybe you're on drugs. Yeah, I think I saw you with a needle once.

  • NOTES (1)

    • Though spelled correctly when he is listed as the series creator in the opening credits, Michael Crichton's last name is incorrectly spelled "Chrichton" when he is listed with the other executive producers in the end credits of this episode. This mistake was repeated in most of the Season 4 episodes and in all of the Season 6 episodes.

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • Title: "May Day"
The episode title is a play on the emergency code "mayday," an international radio distress signal used by ships and aircraft.
