Corday is first having problems with the new student, as he tries to care and talk and give patient, who is ready to write DNR for herself, a hope and she is ready to fight again. And even thought his illness is making his life hard first, it looks like Cordey finally understand there is some other way too.

And Eric.. Eric is back in town with new girl and it looks really - he is chaotic, gives no logic answers and.. it looks like troubles with this family will not end soon.

The ending was great. The dance and Cordey and her student on "L" station. And the case with that young girl, who everyone though was raped... shocking.moreless
  • Nathan complains to Romano that he is not being given fair treatment by Corday. He proves to her he is a caring physician, but she is still concerned about surgery.

A patient dying from a genetic disease is allowed by Carter to sign a DNR. Her father objects and Nathan spends time with her, changing her mind. Carter is not impressed, although he has to admit that Nathan has good bedside manner skills. Elizabeth finally allows Nathan to be on call, but against her better judgement.

Luka is suspended due to a nurses complaint. He is pretty upset about it. Abby discusses it with Haleh, as she also thinks it is a little unfair, but Haleh says she will always support another nurse, whatever. Eric shows up with a new girlfriend and Abby is suspicious about his behaviour and him having leave so soon again. She talks to Carter about it, but he wants her to relax. They go on a double date, and all end up line-dancing. It makes you realise how rarely we see the staff let their hair down!

Pratt and Chen finally get to let their hair down, but are rudely interrupted by Leon coming home, which frightens Chen away.moreless

    • Romano: (on phone) Excessive therapy, excessive. Alright, how's this for excessive? I had my arm sliced off. I mean, what do I have to do to get full therapy? Do I have to have a pack of wolves come chew my leg off, too? Look, my physical therapist, my orthopedic surgeon, and the chief of staff of the hospital that pays your premium, what's his name again? Oh yeah, that's right, ME, have all determined that I need a minimum of five days a week in order to regain occupational use. (Begins to yell) It's not disability, you nut! I'm still working...Hello...Hello (slams down phone) Coward!

    • (talking about Luka) Romano: So, it's true; you're all suckers for the accent.

    • Patient: I want the American doctor! Elizabeth: Chen's the American doctor!

    • Haleh: I've been doing this job for 17 years, honey. Doctors come and go, but nurses make this place run. We don't get much credit or pay. We see a lot of misery, a lot of dying, but we come back every day. I've given up being appreciated, but I sure as hell won't let any of us be taken for granted.

    • (Abby wants to talk to Luka about his suspension, and is trying to hunt him down) Eric: Hey where'd you go? I was looking all over for you. Abby: Um, I'm sorry I had a meeting. Eric: Hey, she's resting now. Abby: Can I talk to you in just one second? Eric: She's feeling a lot better, and John was really great with her. Abby: Who? (in the distance, Kerry calls Luka in to a room) Eric: Ah, your boyfriend, John Carter. Abby: Carter.

    • Abby: Eric says you're not feeling well. What seems to be... (Jodi throws up on the floor) ...the problem?

    • Romano: I've been getting complaints from your new med student, the martini shaker, that you won't put him on call. Corday: He has Parkinsons! Romano: Hence the martini shaker reference. Work with me, Lizzie!

    • Pratt: I cant believe a guy comes in here with three bullet holes and nobody called me. Abby: You are such a trauma queen.

    • Abby: I thought you already won the lottery. Carter: I did. When I met you.

    • Abby: When did you start smoking? Eric: A while ago. What difference does it make? Abby: Nobody starts smoking after the age of 25. Eric: What can I say, I'm a late bloomer. You smoke, and you've been smoking since what, eight?

    • Drunk Patient: I could use a sponge bath. Chen: You up for a lap dance, Malik? Malik: Maybe... Drunk Patient: Stay away from me you chocolate homo. Malik: How did you know my stage name?
