  • Fight for Reese...

Benton is in hard position as the court is taking place over Reese. Cleo does not do well and she is blamed about the accident what happened with piano. Benton's don't go better either as the main topic is Jackie and the other said has much to say and think about her.

Storyline with Kovac and Nicole takes interesting turn and after talking with Abby, she decides to brake out of it. Maybe she felt that there were too many lies and she cannot come out clean of it, and as Abby said, they do not want to hurt him. So, she decided to leave and told there is no baby (what is a lie, I think..)

And all other storylines.. everyone got little development. Everything was going on their own direction. And Rachel's storyline - it looks promising. I was so sure she will test positive but not. She is over her limits and I can understand why her mother did not cope with her. But with Mark - I am sure it will get worse as he is not home, not keeping eye on her..moreless

  • An entertaining, ER-style episode.

I think this episode has two objectives: Reese's custody and Susan/Carter. Although there another interesting stories, like Weaver and her awkward ask for a date, we all know how that ends up. We also saw Corday in a difficult situation. And we find out who Nicole really is and how Kovac deals with it, with Abby somehow in the middle of it.
In this episode you really fear for Benton loosing Reese and everything makes you think he won't have the custody, specially for his "Why don't you ask me that?" scene.
I think somehow, when you think of this episode, it leaves you with the feeling that Susan and Carter make a really nice, fun couple and that it would be good for them to be together.
This is a ER episode, not at all boring nor repetitive.moreless

    • When the afro-american patient punches the wall to piss his father off after his brother died, the left half of his hand is covered in blood. On the next shot, he only has a few scratches on the whole hand and a bit of dust from the wall where the blood used to be.

      Edit
    • Goof: During Cleo's testimony at Reese's custody hearing, she says that she and Peter Benton have been together for "almost three years." However, Cleo and Peter did not start dating until January 2000 (in the Season 6 episode "The Domino Heart"), just under two years earlier from when this episode takes place. Edit
    • Goof: In Season 1, we learned that Jackie has three kids, but in this episode she mentions only a daughter and a son that died. Edit

    • Title: "Quo Vadis?" The title of the episode translates from Latin to English as "Where do you go?" or "Where are you going?". Interestingly, the Latin language does not use question marks, so the question mark at the end of the title is incorrectly included. Edit
